This little cafe is a little gem. Staff are warm and welcoming. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. The 2 young men were delightful. Well worth a visit.

Amazing staff and great food as always. Could not fault the place. Always well looked after and always have a good time here.

We booked a table for a birthday with 18 people I was surprised how efficient and quickly we were served , all he starters came out together as well as the mains and desserts , staff were brilliant , 18 very impressed and happy diners

The tea room looks cute from outside but sadly the quality of the food does not match the decor. It was cold inside, the coffee machine was not working and not all items on the menu were available.

We had an amazing fish chips was so lovely and the staff was brilliant too will differently come back and for the gesst beer 10 out of 10 come and see.

Had a lovely Boxing Day meal for my daughter’s 21st for 19 people. Food was delicious and great value. Staff were all lovely and they even gave her a complementary bottle of Prosecco which was really lovely, Thank you. Venue was cosy and was a great atmosphere.

Me, my partner and my mother in law we went today for Sunday Easter lunch, all I can say the food was great and our table server was great too and at the end we tip our waitress, but I need to point it out something while we were there…we were seated by the door entrance next to the bar and there was a lady with blonde hair and glasses working behind the bar as soon we seated my boyfriend moved my chair to seat me down and he does that all the time to me which is nice having a boyfriend like that anyway this lady said to him in front of us “can I just say it that was really cute” on that I didn’t take particular attention, and than she started to stare at him all the time like a girl that has a heavy crush on somebody, and she was keep checking on him, honestly It wasn’t comfortable for him but also wasn’t comfortable for me, bless him at some point he was staring his plate because he didn’t wanted to disrespected me, all I can say is you can tell everything about her as a person that was really disrespectful and also I didn’t find this professional at all, and we left in a rush because of that lady I was so close to say something because that was really upsetting me and ruined our Easter Lunch. Unbelievable never expected something like this at the Whitmore.

Good was stone cold and order was 40 minutes later than advised

Just a arrived home after our breakfast at Harvester. Grays As normal food was great The atmosphere is just brilliant and service always done with a smile and very efficient. Hope all harvesters have a JAMES KAREN and JOVITA All three are just brilliant and a credit to Harvester. Can see why the Harvester Grays is always busy. Chris Murphy

Delectable, delicious food. I love vegetables, seafood, fish etc. Great coffee and dessert. Fantastic chef; scrumptious Sunday lunch menu. Super management. Excellent service especially from Phil, whose customer care ensured special dietary needs were accommodated and made our meal outstanding. He is always very attentive to everyone. Thank you so much, all staff.

We been today 08.05.25, food is excellent bit service is very poor, no one come asked how's your wise, waiting for morethan 40 minutes if someone will come ask if we want dessert, but nothing, frustrated so we paid our bill..then we realised that they took discretionary seevice charged without asking or telling.🤔🤔 despite that we are only the customer eating.. but no one to ask...

What an unexpected pleasure ! Wonderful friendly staff , the pub itself is so original and you can feel the history , see the history, fabulous, and then walk off the wonderful food along the sea wall and take in the marvel of tilbury fort Worth the visits ? I cannot believe what a witnessed this morning. Two ladies sat on the next table had their order messed up at the till, so when the food came and items were missing they asked for a slice of toast just to compensate. The member of staff came back clearly embarrassed and told them they had to give back half a potion of the scrambled egg in place of the toast The manager, Simone came out, she has no customer service skills at all. She confirmed the lady had to give her half the scrambled egg, even though it was going into the bin and proceeded to take it from her plate. This is disgusting behaviour to think they would rather throw food away than to own a mistake and just give they lady a slice of toast.. her attitude was that they expect customers to pay for the food they eat.. and she just rolled her eyes. It was unbelievable to witness that kind of behaviour towards customers
