Horrible customer service!!!! Complete lack of hospitality!! Had to wait 20 mins for a drink while standing at the bar, they served many people before who hadn't been waiting as long. When we politely complained about the wait time we got told to go f*ck ourselves, that we were a**holes and that they would refuse to serve us again!!! Much more positive experience at the Peterboat!!!

18th birthday party here. Well what a great evening we had, a big thank you to leah, shannon, the bar staff & Tony & his colleague in security on the doors, nothing to much trouble, very friendly every one. We had a great time from start to finish, my daughter & Wife were over the moon. I would highly recommend the venue, for all occasion. We had trouble in my local area for venues to do an 18th as some times does come with Security issues. But we had no problems what so ever here. At the end of the night the staff cleaned up for us. So what every the occasion. Please give them a call, We found this money well spent.

There was plenty of parking space here which is always a bonus. Careful of the ramps when walking to the venue if you have to park near the entrance. Two parties were taking place at the same time in different rooms, and there was plenty of security and welcoming, and helpful, staff on hand. Lights gave the pub an atmosphere. Party food, provided by the pub was particularly good. There were plenty of tables and chairs for those that did not want to either stand or dance. The place was clean throughout. Good sized rooms. The house red wine could have been better though!

Although not really heard much about The Crooked Billet food wise, we decided to have a family Sunday Lunch there. The food was superb but a bit disappointed that they run out of beef, otherwise everything was really good. The staff are both very friendly and efficient, would highly recommend.

I am so pleased we went to crooked billet for lunch ,it was well worth it. Although it was not busy, it should have been.my wife had the steak I went for the burger both meals were 1st class and we will be back for more. The place itself needs a it of TLC ,but don’t let that put you of , the staff were lovely and the beer was good and cheap you need to try it for yourself PS.you can get your car washed while having a drink.

On the menu is the "ULTIMATE DIRTY BURGER". You get a burger the size of a flat. Looks very well, but the patty was one of the worst patty's I've ever had. Dry and as tough as leather. Overcooked! I don't know what they do in the kitchen with the meat, but this was not what I expected.

The table was dirty with old food all over it and sticky. It was only 10am on a Sunday too. The glasses arrived filthy and when putting the drink in there was floating black bits so had to ask for new drinks which we drank from the bottles. The food arrived and was just warm not hot. The only redeeming factor was my eggs benedict was nice. My partner tried to speak to the waiter who was incredibly rude and just walked straight past whilst he was talking and he was aware we were talking to him. There is also no uniform as staff are wearing what looks like tracksuit bottoms and band hoodies which doesn't look presentable. I wouldn't return. ADD ON - My issue was not with the wear of your staff it was mainly how filthy the restaurant was and the staff are rude.

We had our son’s 21st birthday party at the fleet and it was brilliant. The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us and the Dj was superb too. We will definitely be using again for all future parties
