Was here Saturday 5th October great food and staff the place is clean. And at a very good price I will be back .

Lovely clean cafe, very friendly helpful staff. We ended up having the OAP fish chips and hot drink for £10??? Bigger piece of cod than we expected great meal. Also very clean and well kept toilets. Don’t really want too Many people to know as we might not be able to get into this again lol

The food was lovely, but we could not sit and digest our meal. As soon as we were finished, we were pushed to leave for other customers to sit.

Stopped off at this cafe for a lunch during a long walk from Shoeburyness to Leigh, we were well served, and the food was really impressive, only negative is this venue has no toilets inside, and an outside toilet has to be used

Boss Wetherspoons that has all you’d ever want, local sports on that are associated with the area, it’s very busy and there’s a smoking area, two bars and toilets. The staff are very friendly and helpful, quick service and even clearing of the tables. Locals are also nice and friendly for anyone visiting the area. Overall it’s a sound pub with no issues.

We normally get a lovely meal here but yesterday's meal upset my stomach. The skate was delicious but the chips were greasy and the whitebait to start was also greasy. Been coming here for years and never had a problem with the food, won't be having greasy food again

Disappointing for something that is supposed to be their speciality - bought 2x Rossi 99s this morning and both cones tasted musty and were clearly stale. Not the first time we’ve had a similar experience unfortunately. Will be seeking out an alternative ice cream parlour on the seafront from now on.

Firstly our waitress was really friendly and took time to explain what gluten free options were on the menu for my friend. Despite being busy the service was good. The food was ok, but nothing special. There is a good choice of food on the menu. It is definitely worth going here before a show at the Cliffs Pavilion but do book as it’s very popular.

A friendly well run cafe offering a good range of menu options. We had excellent bacon and sausage sandwiches sitting under a heater watching a weather system pass through the estuary. Who needs Spain!

Our office Christmas party night at Ravens was a fantastic night. The service was very friendly and I can honestly say that this was the best food of all the work Christmas parties attended over the years. Thanks to all of the Ravens team for making this a night to remember. We hope to be back next year!

Hang your head in shame - turning away a heavy pregnant women from using your toilet absolutely shocking - in the busy sea side of Southend and u can’t even spare 2 mins to let her go shocking don’t expect me to buy any food ever again

Chips were good. Haddock was OK but the batter was a bit greasy. Seats and general decor quite shabby and in need of a refurb. Overall nothing special.

Rude ignorant staff. Waited for someone already being served. Then the person totally ignored me and served someone that came in after me! Avoid at all costs
