Myself and family went here , the burger fish and fries were so good especially for the price! Staff were also so sweet !

Lovely clean cafe, very friendly helpful staff. We ended up having the OAP fish chips and hot drink for £10??? Bigger piece of cod than we expected great meal. Also very clean and well kept toilets. Don’t really want too Many people to know as we might not be able to get into this again lol

A friendly well run cafe offering a good range of menu options. We had excellent bacon and sausage sandwiches sitting under a heater watching a weather system pass through the estuary. Who needs Spain!

The location couldn’t be better — right next to Southend Central train station — making it a super convenient stop whether you’re just arriving in town or heading out. It’s a large venue, so there’s usually space to sit, though it can get packed in the evenings, especially on weekends. Mornings are much quieter and perfect if you’re after a relaxed breakfast or coffee. Overall, it’s a classic Wetherspoons experience: nothing flashy, but it does exactly what it promises. Great value and a reliable go-to in Southend.

I've visited this place many times previously without issue. This occasion was marred by an unnecessary interaction with staff regarding your policy about queuing. As I was ordering hot drinks and hot food I joined the secondary line for hot food, the primary line being for ice cream only. I have done this many times previously without issue however on this occasion I was told that coffee's and hot puddings didn't count as,"hot foods" and that I should of been in the primary line. I pointed out that I was going to sit at a table to consume these, "hot food" items. Obviously its impossible to consume them in any other way, however my logical explanation of this fact was dismissed. I examined the menu that was sat in front of the hot food service point and it displayed the very items that I had just ordered which strongly suggested to me that what I had ordered would entitle me to have been using this service point. This interaction was annoying and unrequited, the venue was busy but there was no que at the hot food service point putting pressure on the staff member to push out food orders promptly.

Second time of eating here. Food is tasty and generous portions. Staff are friendly,and the atmosphere nice and relaxed. I shall return.

Firstly our waitress was really friendly and took time to explain what gluten free options were on the menu for my friend. Despite being busy the service was good. The food was ok, but nothing special. There is a good choice of food on the menu. It is definitely worth going here before a show at the Cliffs Pavilion but do book as it’s very popular.

Our office Christmas party night at Ravens was a fantastic night. The service was very friendly and I can honestly say that this was the best food of all the work Christmas parties attended over the years. Thanks to all of the Ravens team for making this a night to remember. We hope to be back next year!

Great food, excellent service. New addition to menu pie and a pint or pie and a drink pie veg chips and gravy and a drink with adventure island 20% discount. Everytime we visit we eat here

Me and my daughter came here 4 weeks ago and the food was lovely and was served quite quickly. Staff was friendly too.

Rude ignorant staff. Waited for someone already being served. Then the person totally ignored me and served someone that came in after me! Avoid at all costs
