The best restaurants serving British food in Milton Southend-on-Sea East of England

I popped into this coffee shop when I had a few spare hours. It was such a cosy and welcoming place, I enjoyed a hot chocolate. The staff were very friendly and attentive!

What a shambles whatch out for the weirdos in the bar who nick you phone!

Very Disappointing - cancelled on the day of my 60th Birthday treat (sadly I now see from other reviews this is not uncommon) Now 5 weeks later radio ilence and no refund dispite repeated requests.

I love the Cliffs Pavilion. We are very fortunate to have this venue local to us. The renovations are underway, and I am sure they will upscale it further.

What a lovely Easter lunch we had at this lovely Restaurant. Our once a month family get together. Food was great and staff are wonderful 🥰. Shame we can't make the Shakespeare night this Friday. But you do have lots of events coming along 👍. Hopefully see you next month with the family, they all love this place. Thank you.

My friends and I booked a pre theatre meal here not really knowing what to expect and we can honestly say this is our new place to eat. We all had fish and chips which was absolutely delicious as well as piping hot. Desserts were varied but we all were amazed by the large portion sizes, including the ice cream. Toby ,our server was an absolute credit to the restaurant ,with his attentive service, helpfulness and friendly personality. We asked if Sangria was available and although it wasn't on the drinks list 2 jug fulls appeared at our table as they kindly made it up for us and was actually the best we've ever tasted.

£10 min charge and missed out the extras and baguettes overpriced won’t use again

Ordered on Just Eat. So very disappointed. Burnt pies and the mash was horrendous. The entire order was incorrect and just inedible.

Tasty veggie lasagna - side salad a bit boring Convenient location. Friendly staff.

1st time of ordering from here. Food arrived lovely and hot. The cod, cod roe and chips were amazing. The prices are amazing. Will definately be ordering again.

Amazing, respectful and knowledgeable bar staff. Can’t fault the service of the bar staff, they are all friendly and helpful. It’s very clear they enjoy their jobs. Fantastic atmosphere aswell!

For less than £20 per head, you can have a delicious 3 course meal in the restaurant. The food was served with no rushing, tables laid, staff ready to serve and get a drink from the bar if required. No hurrying for somebody else to take your place and shall definitely be returning. Extremely enjoyable.

Friendly welcome, Sunday lunch time, freshly cooked cod, lovely and white, nice thin batter, with mushy peas! Portion size was perfect!
