Very Disappointing - cancelled on the day of my 60th Birthday treat (sadly I now see from other reviews this is not uncommon) Now 5 weeks later radio ilence and no refund dispite repeated requests.

Visiting today we loved seeing all the cats, its a nice little trip out & a happy bright place for the cats to be kept. I think they get overstimulated having people in there all day maybe a break between visitors would be nice for them instead of a constant flow. Food & drink a little over priced on top of the £6 entrance fee & maybe for teenage visitors(would like to see under 16s half price) Worth a visit, would recommend 7/10

Be prepared for the horrible smell!! It's hard to eat as the smell of cats and litter trays is so strong. There is no ventilation so very stuffy. They also make you wait without any explanation so you keep ringing the bell as they ignore you. There was a tall skinny lad serving who was very rude, chatting about personal things to other cuatomers when people arw waiting to be aerves. He also ignores the bell to get in, leaving people waiting outside the door who are told to arrive on time then left to wait. Also the cuppacino is awful, it's that cheap packet powder stuff that taste awful. The only plus where the cats. We would never go back.

What a lovely experience! First of all, the staff were lovely and you can tell that they are very knowledgeable and genuinely love their jobs. They were very polite and helpful :) The environment was clean and surprisingly smelt good considering there were lots of cats about! You also have to be let in by a staff member as a safety measure to avoid loose cats! The cats were friendly and one of them loved my coat! Toward the end of our stay, he decided to reside on my lap and j guiltily had to shift him off when it was time to leave! The food was good, however the jacket potato was over cooked. Nobody else had any complaints so I’m assuming that was just a one off. The waffle looked delicious so I recommend trying one of those! The experience was certainly worth it and we are very glad we came!

We had the most amazing experience today and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was so calm and therapeutic and it was clear that the cats are very happy and very loved by the staff . The staff are so lovely and literally bent over backwards to make you feel welcome . They were excellent at accommodating my dietary allergy (coeliac) and nothing was too much trouble . The food was delicious and our overall experience was fantastic ! Thank you to everyone who made it such an enjoyable visit . We will be back !

We had a lovely time at the cat cafe. It had a very chilled vibe and the cats were relaxed enough to stroll about and come over. The sphinx cats are completely adorable. Made a few new feline friends! Recommend trying the waffles with your cuppa. Summary: Cute and Kittea-riffic! 😻

Kittea Cakes is just the best! If you, or someone you know is a cat lover, then a visit is highly recommended. We received a warm welcome on our arrival and the 'house rules' were explained to us before we entered into the main café area. We were seated at our table and ordered coffees and cakes (which were all outstanding and very tasty). The cafe was light, bright, clean and airy and of course, there were lots of beautiful cats to admire, cuddle and fuss. Our visit really was faultless from start to finish, with nothing negative to note. The staff were helpful and informative and it really was apparent that the welfare of the cats was very much at the forefront of the establishment. The cats had plenty of places to rest, play and sleep. The cafe itself was a lovely environment. It was well maintained, clean and tidy, with a very cat friendly interior. Would we visit again? Absolutely! We are already looking forward to our next visit. See you again soon Kittea Cakes, thanks again for having us and for a fantastic day out.

Fantastic food, really huge portions. The fish was beautiful I cooked, with the squid being equally delicious I ordered for collection and they had it ready exactly on time.

Brilliant views and a range of tapas. Always thrilled to see arancini on a menu. Decent servings. Local beer in a bottle too. It was pretty busy in the late afternoon on Easter weekend, but still a few tables available for walk-ins. A few people had kids. It seemed child-friendly. The toddler at one table was enjoying the chips. A child at another had an ice-cream sundae which I would have got if it hadn't turned chilly. The Grove is on the way to the high street, and only a short walk from the beach. A lovely stop on a relaxing day out of London.
