The best restaurants serving British food in Luton East of England

Proper cracking breakfast. The mix of items I wanted wasn't on the menu, so I asked if they would allow freestyle, which they did. My plate (pictured) arrived in about 2 minutes, and was perfect. Less than a tenner including the coffee, cannot go wrong.

I ordered a veggie burger for the obvious reason I'm a vegetarian,they toasted the bun on the lamb hot plate, good job I was there to see it, is this what they do if I ordered a delivery. They don't use gloves to serve food and salad. It used to be the best food, gone downhill

I went there on the 3rd of January for my friends birthday and it was the best idea ever as the service was amazing and the cakes where just out of this world. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to plan an amazing birthday for the friends or family.

Best chip shop in Luton. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean.

Today I drove for two hours to seem family members and based on trip advisor reviews we headed for the cafe for a pre Christmas brunch. Alas, it was closed. Such a shame. Anyone know if it’s permanent or just today?

I had one of the best bacon waffles I have ever had. The chef even asked me how my day was. T behind the bar was delightful and it’s bubbly.

Nice neighborhood spot to spend st Patrick's day. Barman was very friendly.

We visited the pub for a fun lunch with friends service was so laid back we waited over an hour for our good and was very disappointed with the outcome steak was very tough and chips and peas cold, will not be going back.

I rang up twice. They said the driver was running late to be honest it’s not the restaurants fault

Food was bland to the pont of tasteless and part of the order didn't arrive at all At the pay counter i was going to be charged the full amount until i pointed out that all of what was ordered hadn't arrived . (Wasn't the lady on the tills fault ) Unfortunately this is the 2nd time in the last few weeks that this has happened. Don't think I will be going back .

What an absolutely delightful place, me and my husband stayed next door after a flight so decided to have our evening meal here and how glad we were that we did, I was craving an ‘English’ meal so decided on the fish and chips and it was delicious and our waitress Zoe was amazing, very helpful, attentive, smiley and could tell she was pleased to help us, she was an absolute delight, so thank you Zoe 😊

A lovely lunch out with my parents. Every dish was delicious with generous portions. Lovely staff and friendly atmostphere. Cant wait to go back!

Like this place. Nice and quiet during weekdays so you can have a nice relaxing meet up with friends.

The Crown used to be such a friendly fun place to go. But since the new so called manager took over its anything but friendly. Please can we get Ness and Josh back, or at least someone who cares about pubs and the people who use them.
