The Sicilian Cafe in Luton

Today I drove for two hours to seem family members and based on trip advisor reviews we headed for the cafe for a pre Christmas brunch. Alas, it was closed. Such a shame. Anyone know if it’s permanent or just today?

Food is really good, freshly cooked with a homemade feel. My Nan couldn’t do better. Best cafe in Luton if not the world!

Friendly service. Happy with our breakfast. Eggs cooked well and bread was nice and fresh. Location wise, interestingly there are houses and new flats being built around the area and that is the main activity that can be viewed from the window. I would be happy to go back again.

Currently in Luton before flying out to Rome this afternoon and found this cafe on Trip Advisor. Couldn’t find one thing wrong with this place. Service is great, breakfast is exactly as stated and coffee was good. Black coffee.

Recently visited The Sicilian while working nearby.It had only just been refurbished and had a very pleasing,welcoming ambience.The proprietor was friendlyand attentive.The food arrived in very good time and was politely served,well presented and delicious.The coffee was also excellent and had time allowed I would have had another.If I find myself anywhere near to The Sicilian again I will certainly breakfast here again.

Been here on many occasions for breakfast and it never disappoints. good food and friendly staff. Went for lunch one day and that was not so good, a bit over cooked. Gets very busy at times, recommended

Great food . Had a really good breakfast , well cooked and plenty off it . The staff here are really friendly and nothing is too much effort for them . This cafe is a gem .

Always a good experience at The Sicilian. Good quality traditional breakfast/lunch with proper coffee. To me the best place for a fry up in Luton. Easy to park. Good service. Good quality food. Never a problem adding/swapping from the menu

Had a set breakfast, it was served pretty quickly and the café was nice and clean. Coffee was good too. I would go again. Not open on Sundays.

Frequented regularly over the years. Top notch English cafe grub. No nonsense with great friendly service. Only 5 mins from Luton Airport.

I have driven past this place on many occasions but on this occasion I stopped the food was ok (sort of) and the restaurant is ok parking is good outside with two hours free parking

Probably the best cafe in Luton, certainly of the ones I've been too. Various set breakfasts, but they will mix and match to cater for your tastes. And a nice brew to wash it down. Been very good for many years now.

Don't expect five star service here, it's a basic cafe located opposite what was formally the Vauxhall Works in Kimpton Road, Luton. Plenty of parking outside and a good range of fried food and breakfasts which are pretty good value. Builders tea in white china mugs, slightly dubious decor and a rag-tag mix of tables and chairs from different origins. However it's clean and friendly and you will get a hearty meal just when you need it! This area is starting to be regenerated so please support these local traders who have managed to survive since Vauxhalls closed down and help them contribute to the future of the area!

If you ever get a chance stop at this cafe the food is amazing especially the feast Service is friendly and it's easy to park

The cafe are always delivering the best service along with great food. The homemade steak and ale pie is one of the best I have had and it's always consistent. With the food comes with the friendliest staff and make you feel welcome and comfortable. It's because of their service and food I'm a regular to the cafe.

I am old enough to remember the transport cafes that all the modern cafes were spawned from. This is the modern take on the original. Good food at reasonable price. No it's not Michelin Star ---- It's working grub for working blokes, although Saturdays seem to have more than it's share of "trendy young things". The food is well cooked and well presented and it is a genre that appeals to the soul even if it hardens the arteries. So throw caution to the wind take a statin and enjoy >>>>>> Recommended

The omlette was just edible but the chips, frozen type, and cooked in oil that tasted like it was used in the owners car, and at £1.80 for the chips i expected a damned site more! Over all i wont be going back ever again!

Does what it says on the tin. Good choice of traditional English breakfast. Parking no problem. Clean. Good service. NB Cash Only.
