Excellent breakfast, great value, what's not to love? Update: Food was not as good as before, and it's got quite pricey

I ordered a veggie burger for the obvious reason I'm a vegetarian,they toasted the bun on the lamb hot plate, good job I was there to see it, is this what they do if I ordered a delivery. They don't use gloves to serve food and salad. It used to be the best food, gone downhill

Today I drove for two hours to seem family members and based on trip advisor reviews we headed for the cafe for a pre Christmas brunch. Alas, it was closed. Such a shame. Anyone know if it’s permanent or just today?

I went there on the 3rd of January for my friends birthday and it was the best idea ever as the service was amazing and the cakes where just out of this world. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to plan an amazing birthday for the friends or family.

5out of 5 food very good friendly staff would recommend to all my family and friends will be booking again easy parking and an extra hour for parking all sports show even horse racing which is a bonus for me

Good food , mostly cooked to order so not much left under lights and not that expensive

First time ordering. I didn’t know the chips didn’t come with the cod but the shop decided to give me free chips. Food was amazing 🙏🏻

We visited the pub for a fun lunch with friends service was so laid back we waited over an hour for our good and was very disappointed with the outcome steak was very tough and chips and peas cold, will not be going back.

Excellent service by Sam . Food was out in really good time and tasted delicious. Although they are having trouble with food suppliers there were no issues with the food we pre-ordered . All the staff are friendly and will go out their way to help you out . We all had a really good time and yet again the food and service was outstanding . Profiteroles for desert and yes they were amazing !! Thank you sam Griffin ESU scout group And Scott too

Good experience as usual. Would be great to have Brown or Wholemeal Bread options and childrens or smaller options.

The Crown used to be such a friendly fun place to go. But since the new so called manager took over its anything but friendly. Please can we get Ness and Josh back, or at least someone who cares about pubs and the people who use them.

This is one of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had. To be honest with you, I was full after the main course the food was lovely staff for brilliant what more can you want? I’ll be coming to visit you again
