This is a family run restaurant with good tasty meals on offer, and a Sunday Roast special each week. Also quite often a genuine Pie and Mash day!! The prices are very good, and there is some outside seating available. Give it a try.

Fantastic venue with wonderful children's facilities. The food was freshly made and always fantastic customer service. A venue you can feel comfortable in if you have a young family. We will be back again very soon!

We ordered, beefburger and a lasagne with mixed salad and chips for dinner from Rob's kitchen in Newmarket. Would like to say both dishes were delicious. We also ordered the famous sausage rolls for the following morning . Just amazing. I would like to recommend to everyone if you are in Newmarket just try Rob's kitchen.

Went to Bedford Lodge for afternoon tea. Placed in what can only describe as a corridor that led to the toilets and I assume rooms. The young lady described what we were getting and in due course arrived with the first sandwich stand and tea. Unfortunately this exemplified the small size of the table. The sandwiches were excellent. The second stand consisted of cakes which were very poor ( tasteless ), most of which we did not eat. To sum up the seating arrangement was awful and the tea left much to be desired. Don't expect to get what the website shows. Never again.

We booked for a family lunch of 10 for our son's 30th birthday followed by bowling at Mr G's in Brandon. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing (or 'banging' as our grandson said ๐). We were bowling after lunch, which was a bit delayed, but we were kept informed which was fine. Lots of fun bowling too. Well done Mr G's we all had a fantastic time ๐.

I thoroughly enjoy visiting the pantry when in Newmarket. I enjoy their breakfast and dinner options greatly. I really enjoy their baked goods. Service is always wonderful and it's a pleasure to go there. I look forward to going again. The eggs royale is my personal favourite. I'm not personally a fan of their coffee beans, so wouldn't recommend their coffee, they taste a tad burnt (similar to a Starbucks flavour or cortados new own roast). But the food is wonderful.

A friend and I called in on spec for lunch. Place packed out with Christmas lunchers. However a manager was very helpful and made us space by the bar. Our Christmas lunch was not fine dining, but was nonetheless very palatable. and we were frequently asked if we were happy.. The main thing was the happy atmosphere and helpfulness of the staff. Recommended!

The lovely staff here need help, not nearly enough of them. A recently introduced gluten free menu has been considerably reduced, and the wait to order and receive a couple of cold drinks, a panini and a scone was in excess of an hour, the two staff I saw were flat out and did try to keep us informed. The food although perfectly acceptable was not as good as I have had here previously.
