Wow! Great atmosphere, great service with perfect timings between courses and the food was amazing!! Definitely going to be a regular here! We had the valentines menu which included the tomahawk steak which we had and we weren’t disappointed! We are now booked in for Mother’s Day lunch where the menu again looks great!! Definitely recommend !

Recommended by a local wool shop, we chanced a walk up to get a table, understanding that the place is often booked up. What a lovely recommendation!! Coffee perfectly made, menu varied, food fresh and attractively served by friendly staff. Perfect little bolt hole, full of character and value for money - absolute winner.

The pantry is my go to for a quick coffee stop! The coffee is always delicious and their variety of fresh cakes impressive! Always a very friendly service too!

My friend and I could not find anywhere in the town centre for lunch and came across The Glass House by accident so decided to pop in. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable seating and privacy as we sat left of the door. Staff are polite and attentative. Food was freshly made, very reasonably priced and tasted fantastic!! A bottle of fizzy water cost £1.. Yes I know I was shocked too!! 2 x luxury panini, 3 huge slices of coffee & walnut cake, 1 slab of chocolate cake, pot of tea, hot chocolate and a 500ml bottle of fizzy water came to £18 Absolutely excellent place to eat and will be returning!! P.S we didn't eat all the cake, took some home for the boys

Great food and great people, very friendly. Service was great and quick. Couldn't have asked for better. Really enjoyed our Sunday Carvery and will definitely be returning. Thanks again.

Popped here today, after exercise class at Halstead Leisure centre, for breakfast. Today we had wild mushrooms on sour dough toast with a poached egg and it was delicious and great value for money. Always clean cafe and great service. If I had to offer and improvement I would have liked a few more mushrooms but I am greedy!!! I would recommend this cafe highly, for breakfast

Born and raised on Pie and Mash in The East End. Not going to lie, I wasn’t expecting much but happy to admit that I was wrong. One of the few good independent PAM that I’ve been to in Essex. Stunning pies. I’d normally leave pictures but tbh, I just wanted to get stuck in the second I saw them… Just try it, and if I’m wrong then you don’t know what you’re talking about

Found this place couple months ago and it’s now the go to place. I only eat from 2 other places in witham but this is my go to place for good value for money
