Great lunch or coffee stop place. Forget the chain of coffee shops and use this cafe. No queueing and waiting. Sit at your table and be served. Reasonable price and good. Friendly staff and clean.

Really disappointed that we seemed to have been forgotten today. Our coffee arrived after 15mins of waiting with an apology (that was fine) and a question if we’d ordered food, which we confirmed we had. 30 minutes later we raised a query about when our food would be ready and sadly our query was not dealt with in a customer friendly way. After another 10 minutes we asked again and were told that our food( a breakfast) would be another ‘5-10 minutes and would we just like to leave it and go?’ We paid for our coffee and left unfortunately. Lovely coffee, the food looked good but didn’t get the opportunity to eat it today.

Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Tables were clean and not sticky. My BLT huffer with salad and crisps was very enjoyable. A cheeky bowl of chips to share was tasty too. Well worth the visit and not too expensive either. 5 stars from me.

Popped in with my son and he had the breakfast and I had the brie, bacon and cranberry sandwich. So much choice on the menu, but I made a good one, best version of this sandwich I've had in a long long time. Very soft fresh bread and loads of filling. It was served with crisps & a very very tasty coleslaw side salad. The huge breakfast was excellent and well cooked. We had 2 different smoothies which were delicious. Service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended.

Been here several times and the food and service has consistently been excellent so happily recommend this wonderful bistro. The staff are always friendly and happy to help answer any food allergy questions. The food is excellent and you can tell they use high quality fresh ingredients which is why it tastes so good. Highly recommended.

I’ve had two terrible lasagnas from here now. ROCK HARD topping and almost inedible chewy pasta. Unacceptable. Should be fresh within a day or two and reheated in oven, these felt like a week old and microradiated to oblivion! Gave 3 stars as there’s a huge extensive menu from which some of it is good.

I always like to support local businesses rather than use chains. Just wasn’t very welcoming and the scone was raw. Just didn’t get a welcomed feeling and left feeling disappointed and wouldn’t return. Maybe you have many regulars and don’t need to impress, but we were passing through and a little more effort wouldn’t have gone amiss. When paying didn’t even ask how everything was and just didn’t get the impression they were bothered. The staff were too busy laughing and chatting to each other and I felt I was interrupting and a customer shouldn’t feel like that. Just my opinion - maybe an off day?

Popped in for a lunch time snack. Greeted by friendly staff. My wife and I both ordered sandwiches and I had a coffee. Service was good and the food arrived quickly. All of the food was of great quality and tasted freshly prepared. The cost was very reasonable for the location, and for what we had.would definitely use again and will recommend this location to friends as a lunchtime stop.

Go early , place justifiably gets V busy in the am's. Nice selection of meals from breakfast , brunch to lunch ... nicely prepared & tasty. Doorway gets busy so sit further away if it's cool outside. Pleasant unrushed atmosphere, with efficient friendly staff. Pricing..mid to a little higher but it's worth it. Good quality & portions to satisfy.

Live in boreham Chelmsford but decided to have a trip to halstead.for a bit of lunch myself and my partner popped into the cafe food was very good and friendly service will definitely call again 👍

We were very pleased with our afternoon tea boxes - the booking process was very easy. I opted to use Facebook messenger as it’s easier for me while I’m at work. Replies were friendly and quick. I didn’t realise they offered local delivery so I got them delivered. I was really impressed with the selection of sandwich’s - as two vegetarians, it was nice to have more than to types of sandwich’s. The box included a vegetarian home made sausage roll and vegetarian quiche too which was lovely as usually lots of places lack these extra options for veggies. The cakes were really yummy, lemon drizzle and chocolate brownie - my favs so extra impressed! Would definitely order from here again.

Absolutely amazing place. Food was absolutely delicious, my diet & way of eating were catered for. Staff were extremely polite & friendly and I believe we left as friends. Review 25th June 2022 "Busy Beanz Bistro" So, wandering through Halstead we fancied a coffee and came upon Busy Beanz Bistro. However when we saw the delightful menu we decided to have lunch there. The food was excellent and the staff gave us friendly, efficient and fantastic service. The selection of dishes on offer was great, I had a tasty jacket potato with chilli and salad. My wife enjoyed her quiche, salad and chips. Overall a fabulous visit and I feel sure that we will return again. So glad we didn't settle just for coffee. Thank you so much to the staff

Only recently moved to Halstead and decided to give Buzy Beanz a try. Ordered a delivery for myself and my daughter. The food arrived on time, it was piping hot and delicious. Will definitely be ordering again.

Went her for a sandwich & drink before going to the football match nearby, having never been to Halsted before we were surprised how busy the cafes were & were pleased to grab a table here as others left. Good selection on the menu and the huffa rolls were very filling. Friendly staff and nice clean cafe.

We were looking for a quiet place for a small group following a funeral locally. Claire was the ultimate host. She stayed open specially for us, was compassionate and cared for us impeccably. We have been here socially a few times and the service is top notch both for lunch and breakfast. Worth visiting Halstead just for this.

Staff are so lovely. Working their little socks off. There was a wait for food, but they were very honest in saying how long it would be. Could see they were up against it. Food was definitely worth the wait, best bacon, brie and cranberry panini I've ever had (true fact!) Husband and daughter loved their lunch to! Such polite friendly staff. We will most definitely be going back!

Such a gorgeous little gem of a cafe. Salad was fresh and delicious, and breakfast huffer an absolute hit with my partner who was pandered to with item substitutions with zero fuss and a smile. Friendly relaxed atmosphere we were made to feel very welcome. Not only would I come again, I want to work here it’s been so lovely!!

Really enjoyed our meal and drinks at the cafe. Staff made us feel very welcome and all worked well as a team. My salad was lovely and I could only eat half. The other half was carefully saved for me in the fridge so I could take it home while still fresh. The sandwich was also very good. Our coffees were great and even the decaf coffee tasted like caf coffee! A busy, popular place for takeaway and eat ins. Recommended!

I was going to Audley end to see a concert with a friend and two members of my family and decided to order afternoon tea boxes for the 4 of us. The sandwiches were lovely and cakes delicious,we had quiche and a sausage roll as well and even better for me my box was all gluten free will definitely recommend a visit or get a takeaway box

Cannot fault this excellent little bistro centrally located in Halstead. Great food, lots of choice, licensed if you want a glass of wine etc and the girls who serve you are speedy, efficient and - most importantly - bright and cheerful, makes such a difference. I shall be returning...

Have visited this eating place three times. On all occasions we received a friendly and efficient service. They were happy to reserve a table for us so we could return at our convenience after shopping. Excellent food. Good quality meats used. Good variety of meals. Very accommodating with any slight changes w3 wanted to the dish. Good value for money service. I would highly recommend anyone wanting food in Halstead to visit this eating place. Will definitely return next time I am in Halstead.

We had our first breakfast experience at Buzy Beanz Bistro today we took our little one who is a year and they done a lovely little breakfast for him with no hesitation. The breakfast was by far the best we've had in town highly recommended staff very friendly we will most definitely will be going back there 😊😊

Ordered Avocado and bacon salad, no avocado, and the amount of salad was pitiful. Was not allowed in premises as I would have mention the frugal amount of food for the cost was not good value

I ordered 2 afternoon tea's for my friends who absolutely LOVED everything that was delivered from the delicious freshly made sandwiches to the exquisite cakes, sausage rolls, quiche, scones ..... and all at a very reasonable price with free delivery too ! Ordered a Mother’s Day afternoon tea which looked (and I hear) tasted amazing. Free local delivery presented in individual boxes with tasty home made products. Nothing was too much trouble even the request for white bread sandwiches. Would happily recommend Buzy Beanz Bistro and use them again. Thanks to everyone involved!

A delicious afternoon tea delivered to us at home. Lovely selection of sandwiches, with quiche and sausage roll a bonus. Cakes and scones were very tasty. Great to have a gluten free option and one that tasted so good! Also the option of a childs portion was great. Excellent service

It was my nan’s 85th birthday, She doesn’t eat a lot so I asked Claire if she could do a small afternoon tea box for both my grandparents. They were over the moon with them, They enjoyed everything and loved how it was presented. Thank you Busy Beanz Bistro you definitely didn’t disappoint, it made their weekend (their words!) looking forward to you opening again!

I wasn’t sure what to do for a special occasion given the challenges we’re faced with but I thought an afternoon tea for my nana’s 87th birthday would be lovely. Given I only got round to arranging it last Saturday Buzy Beanz came to my rescue and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Each afternoon tea was individually boxed which made it perfect as we were different households sharing an undercover outdoor space. The food was plentiful and delicious. I love the savoury extras particularly. Communication was brilliant and delivery prompt. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, thank you.

Ate here today 22 October 2020 and what a marvellous lunch we hsd. Very reasonably priced. Lovely food we had bacon, brie and cranberry sandeich. Served up with nice bowl of salad and crusps. Great cup of tea and my friend had a latte. Fabulous atmosphere and great great foid. Thanknyou

I organised for my parents to have an afternoon tea delivery in gestingthorpe for a special birthday treat!! I am very disappointed I didn’t have one myself!! It looked epic and they said it tasted amazing and was presented beautifully. The staff were so helpful and accommodating too. Thank you I will definitely be visiting or having a delivery myself!

We were having trouble finding a caterer within the Covid gathering restrictions to feed 30 for a post funeral service. Restaurants were not permitted to book a group of 30. Buffet style service within our Hall venue was not allowed.Buzy Beanz were recommended as an option as they provide a delivery service of individual boxes of sandwiches/cakes/etc.The Buzy Beanz boxes were perfect. Beautifully presented individual food boxes, with lots of tasty content. Guests that didn’t manage to finish their boxes, took them home (always a good sign of good food).Thank you Clare & the Team at Buzy Beanz for the amazing service that eased the day and provided a popular talking point amongst guests.

Had a takeaway afternoon tea and It delicious. Good value for money, brilliant service, it was easier to order and as I was going passed the shop I collected, although they were more than happy to deliver. It was all ready and I hope they carry on doing them when they reopen.

I wanted to do something for my parents wedding anniversary during this weird time. I found Buzy Beanz online and contacted them with only 4 days notice. They came back to me straightaway and were able to deliver when I needed. My parents were very impressed....the afternoon tea was delivered exactly when they told me and not only was there loads of choice, the food was scrumptious, it had something each of them enjoyed including quiche and sausage rolls. It was extremely well priced for what you got and the customer service was excellent. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using again....hopefully in person at some point!

Enjoyed the afternoon tea from Buzy Beanz with two friends, socially distancing of course. It was delicious and very good value. Very generous afternoon tea, more than enough for us four. The sandwiches were a good selection and the cakes very tasty but my favourite was the homemade quiche. In fact I swapped my homemade sausage roll for my husband's quiche too. This was a perfect mid-week treat that we all enjoyed tremendously. With the added bonus that it was delivered free to our door. Highly recommend you give this a try, you will not be disappointed.

I hadn’t seen my mother in law in weeks so we wanted to do something special to mark the occasion. Our afternoon tea that was promptly delivered one sunny afternoon was absolutely delicious. Fist time we've tried Buzy Beanz and it definitely won't be the last. We had an afternoon tea delivered to treat ourselves during lockdown. There was loads of food: finger sandwiches with various fillings, quiche, sausage rolls, brownies, lemon cake and (of course) fruit scones with jam and clotted cream. Everything was fresh and utterly delicious. Look forward to visiting properly when Buzy Beans reopens.

Great variety of sandwiches, savouries and cakes plus the Scone with Jam and Clotted Cream, divine! Ordered a takeaway afternoon tea for two and it was delicious, I’ve recently become a pescatarian and they were able to cater for me completely. There was a lovely selection of sandwiches and the brownies were so so good - mouth watering good! Will definitely be ordering another one and can’t wait to visit the shop when lockdown is over and it’s safe to do so. Thank you again, it really was so lovely!

I asked at short notice for afternoon tea for a last minute surprise of my partners son coming to see us for the first time in 2 months since lock down. They were fully booked but managed to fit us in knowing it was a special occasion which we hugely appreciated. I offered to pick it up and all was done at a safe distance... the food was amazing!!! Have been out for afternoon tea, but this was one of the best I have had. Sandwiches delicious, sausage rolls tasted amazing, scones with clotted cream was to die for and cakes perfect. Great friendly helpful staff. If you order you wont be disappointed. Xx

we had a tea for two delivered today, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The children also had a helping hand in making it disappear, one of the nicest afternoon teas we have had. Our children really liked it to so much so that they want us now to order one for them.

Stumbled upon this beaut this afternoon and what a sweet stumble it was! Both my partner and I enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea with the cutest teapots to accompany! (had little one with us and there was plenty of space for pushchair and a highchair was available)As well as the food being fantastic the staff were absolute diamonds, so friendly and cheerful. Would highly recommend this cafe for anything from a light bite to a full on meal... We will be returning for more!

We popped in for a quick lunch and enjoyed our food which was freshly prepared and in generous portions. The coffee was nice and apparently so was the tea. Everywhere was clean and the staff were efficient and friendly.Toilet at the rear of the premises was ok.If ever I'm in Halstead again, I'd go back.

I definitely recommend this lovely cafe in Halstead (and I’ve been to all of them) the sandwiches are the freshest around with exceptional selections and sides, and the menu is extensive - high quality and extremely good value for money!!! Hi just wanted to say if you hav'nt popped in to Busy Beanz then you are missing out , I went in with him indoors on Wednesday with a voucher that my son won in holy trinity raffle . The staff were lovely so friendly the place is clean and comfortable and the Tea Cake was lovely along with our cuppa we will definitely be calling back . Thank you ladies we enjoyed it .
