The best restaurants serving British food in Bridge Nottingham East Midlands

First time at this pub ,fantastic service,great food super staff especially Cloie highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

This week’s treat was Level 3 Student Chefs revealing their research trip to Finland in 6 flavour packed courses. From barbequed mushrooms in a liquorice inspired sauce, braised venison rather than reindeer, crawfish and pickles, soft celeriac in a sweet pool of soup, a stunning bright turquoise blueberry dessert with a mirror finish and a take on the Finnish speciality Easter egg – solid, but soft chocolate, served in a real egg shell and box! WOW who knew the Finnish knew flavours and having fun with food. All that for under £30.

The malt cross is a exceptional pub. Fantastic management from the managers customer service and kitchen service is of exceptional value for money. These are my thoughts Food preparation and quality 100% Management 100% Customer service experience 100% A fine example of a quality pub company and pub service experience.

Excellent value! The spuds here are awesome and there is the added bonus of plenty of vegan options. Love it.

I attended Cleaver & Weake today for an annual Christmas lunch. It was perfect from start to finish. We arrived at 12.30 for a booking at 13:00. We had cocktails in bar (complimentary courtesy of the Island App) cocktail was delicious. One of my friends was running late but the bar tender must have noticed her arrive and her cocktail was presented to her literally as she sat down. That attention to detail means a lot. We then went up to the restaurant the service was amazing!! I wasn't sure about the Prosecco and the waitress let us try two before we brought a bottle. The service throughout was fantastic. The food was delicious, the duck was so well Seasoned. All in all I had an amazing afternoon.

El Gato Humilde proporcionó el catering para el funeral de mi Padre y fueron más allá de lo esperado. Había más invitados de lo que pensábamos y Vicky trabajó tan duro para garantizar que todos fueran atendidos rápidamente y que hubiera suficiente comida. La comida era maravillosa y tuvimos muchos comentarios positivos. Muchas gracias - recomendaríamos Vicky y Humble Cat equipo para cualquier necesidad de catering.

Tuvimos el mejor servicio y la comida era deliciosa. Tuvimos un poco de espera para nuestro plato principal, pero esto fue visto antes de que lo señaláramos y fue rectificado inmediatamente. Sin duda lo volvería a visitar.

We ordered lunch to go today and items were missing from our order. When I called to advise them of the shortage I was told that it was our fault for not ordering properly. The items that we received were not listed as available options on the online menu which I told them. They said they just substitute what is clearly listed on their online menu with another item & if you do not specify that you want what they actually have listed on the menu then you don't get it. They gave us rolls when we should have had muffins, which isn't the end of the world but either train people to ask the right questions or update the website.. There were only 5 cars in the parking lot so not they were overwhelmed when we picked up the order. Ridiculous..

Two couples & a toddler for a late lunch. Staff coped brilliantly with Dave's mobility issues. £160 for cocktails, eight sharing plates, & desert. Not cheap but the food was so good that it was good value. Gonna recreate the roast Jerusalem artichokes in winter green velouté sauce. All perfect. So why have I knocked off one star? Susie asked for vodka instead of gin in her negroni, but the waitress declined, "They're pre-mixed." The cocktails were excellent, & doubt I could tell the difference, but we should maintain standards.

Having ordered my meal with my family, I asked to use the restroom. I was advised that it was out of order and I could go to the library third floor. The walk turned out to be 0.8 miles there and back, taking me 25 minutes by the time I returned. By the time I got back my family had finished their meals and my tea stewed. When I spoke to them they told me that I did not have to go to the library and I could o f gone to a neighboring business if I did not want to walk that far. They refused to refund my meal. As an elderly tourist who did not know the town, this was not a good introduction to Nottingham. I’m not a fan of negative reviews but this was a poor way to treat a customer

We booked three for lunch at 12.30 but could find not staff when we arrived. The one we did find did not know they had a brasserie.! We were offered a table but the waitress could not find the wine list. We left.

My birthday 11 Jan had a fantastic night

Food arrived mostly cold on a cold plate. This was quickly rectified once I complained. Service and staff were great.
