This was my first visit to William Gunn - I will definitely be going back! As we were a large group, we had completed our pre-order before arrival. Staff were attentive and ensured that all.of our guests had arrived before beginning to serve our food. Food arrived quickly and was served hot for all, with portions being very generous! Everything was consciously put together and tasted delicious - well worth the money paid. The bar staff were wonderful, especially Lana, who served us all attentively and with outstanding professionalism. Looking forward to my next visit!

The William Gunn pub is a delightful spot for a relaxing meal. The Billy Gunn burger, paired with their delicious chips, is a must-try. On hot days, they open up the front doors, creating a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff, particularly Lana, ensure a pleasant and welcoming experience. Fantastic live entertainment, the singer was fantastic. Great night out, highly recommended!

William Gunn never disappoints for good food and drinks. Good variation of vegetarian options & specials. Good location and nice ambience both inside and out.

Went to watch the England Euro match. As usual the service was second to none. The atmosphere was incredible, no issues just people celebrating Englands success. The music really celebrated Englands progression. Great venue.

Valentines and wine tasting night. The food was amazing and great value for money. Service was fantastic and the ambiance was incredible. Attention to detail made the evening perfect.

Visiting my cousin in West Bridgford she & I visited the William Gunn for a Friday fish & chip special deal. It was excellent. The portions were generous, fresh & delicious & also great value. Best meal I I've had in a pub for a long time. The staff were friendly & helpful & overall what a great pub, smart, spotlessly clean & well designed. The only negative was that the music, which we did like, but was very loud, making chatting difficult. Looking round there was a good vibe & other people, like us, seemed to be happy just chatting & laughing. I felt that it was just down to the comfortable nature of the pub which is, of course, then a positive. I would definitely recommend a visit to the William Gunn, deals seem to be on offer different nights & there is a wide variety of meals on the usual menu. They also have a lunch time menu which looked good value. Give it a try, you don't know what you're missing! Wish it was in my home town but my cousin & I will be back on my next visit.

Attended the World Cut Breakfast event with 4 others. Excellent breakfast with superb service. Great value for money and highly recommended. 5th visit and all great.

Absolutely brilliant and value for money breakfasts. Service was amazing and all staff were attentive at all times. Love this little jewel in West Bridgford - so much so we've booked for the New Year's Eve party.

Sunday 6th August, been coming here with my mates after the Forest match, the beers are superbly looked after, today I'm here with Mrs Red after a stroll around The Riverside Festival, Sunday roast one chicken, one beef food was excellent along with one of my favourite beers Jute Salt total bill with 3 rounds of drinks £60 odd quid.

Called in for lunch today having visited Trent Bridge cricket ground. This small, welcoming pub is a 5 minute walk from the ground. We each ordered from the lunch menu which was reasonably priced and offered a good variety of dishes. All.of us really enjoyed our meal and the man serving us made us feel most welcome

Brilliant pies on pie night, great service and staff. Small issue with meal was solved very fast and very generously. Will definitely be coming back!

We visited as a family with children for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious and all freshly cooked . The young lady who served us couldn’t do enough to help , she was so efficient and helpful. Thank you we had a lovely meal

The vibe is great for starting, finishing off your night or just some dinner out and some nice cocktails. Great spot, lovely and attentive staff. No problem was too big or small and was happy to help us. Katie in particular was really friendly, engaging and happy to ensure our experience was great overall. Food was lovely and plentiful and drinks hit the spot nicely. Sadly, we may not return any time soon but would definitely come back and visit if we did.

Been here a few times for quizzes and after sporting events nearby. Have eaten a few times and the food is always excellent, especially the burgers. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend a visit.

We loved our first visit to The William Gunn. Our family visited to celebrate our daughters 11th birthday, it was the small plates offer on a Tuesday night & comes highly recommended, beef bao buns, sticky chicken bites, potato bravas etc etc were all really nice which the whole family from pensioners to our child enjoyed. The two girls that looked after us were absolutely fantastic & made our visit even more enjoyable with their excellent customer service so thank you. We look forward to our next visit.

Brilliant! Great food, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely return. The Bartender moved the comfy seats for us to have a good view of the screen for rugby. Steak sandwich and Halloumi sandwich were delicious. Fabulous, friendly service.
