Incredible meal at the cast iron bar & grill, weā€™re a bit hesitant because of the negative reviews but the food was insane, staff were lovely and would 100% return! Such good value for money! Went to the Ivy a few months back and would choose here over there any day :) thank you guys!!

Hotel godny polecenia. Wysoki standard. Obsługa pierwsza klasa. PokĆ³j duży, nowoczesny, czysty. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne. Animacje są prowadzone przez najlepszą ekipę! Codziennie duża dawka śmiechu i zabawy. Nie da się nudzić w tym hotelu. Tydzień to za mało ;) Piękna piaszczysta plaża šŸ–ļø

Quirky place... something a little different...such a shame they only take card payments... otherwise, we would have stayed longer

Sadly, The Rose has closed down, and is now all boarded up. There had been a "For Sale" notice last month, but even this has gone. From a local resident.

What a great find! We found this place on the internet and drove around an hour to get here and it wasnā€™t a wasted trip. Itā€™s not a big place but is just right for having a good look round. We had lunch in the Gardenerā€™s Tea Room, both of us ordering the lite bites from the menu. It was fabulous! Fresh ingredients a hot chips as well and great value. The staff were very polite and accommodating and the place itself was clean and inviting. We would certainly come back and recommend to anyone.

We went for Afternoon Vintage tea for two on a group on 2 weeks ago. The cafe was freezing. We had to keep our coats on. Service was ok but we were the only customers for quite a while. We have sampled several afternoon teas from other places and Granny Smith's is a let down. The sandwiches were plain and unexciting. The scones were ok. The cakes were very poor and cheap. No flair at all. The young lady serving us was pleasant enough although " no problem" every time she did anything does grate after a while. Course it's no problem if you're doing the job you're being paid for. Won't go back. Won't recommend.

The Holywell has had itā€™s ups and downs over the past few years, but the new owners seem very keen to put it back on the map. The newly refurbished interior is very nice, with reupholstered seating and new carpet. Although the rear garden isnā€™t open yet, stylish new garden furniture is in place, and once the mindlessly vandalised marquee has been repaired it will offer a great outdoor space. Not a huge range of beer available at the moment, but this will obviously improve when customer numbers increase. The beers on offer this evening were all in good condition and very reasonably priced. I understand that food will be available once again in the coming weeks. Itā€™s down to all of us pub lovers to support our locals, to ensure they remain open and not turned into drab apartment blocks!! For the Holywell to thrive, it needs support!! Go in for a pint, or grumble in a few years time that the only places left are chrome and plastic gastropubs!

Seamed a nice pub, not a lot of people in there, but there was a female who appeared to be very rude to some people and nice to others, who then started shouting at someone who was sat drinking in the corner with some others for no apparent reason, from what she was saying she might have been the owner, either way it was embarrassing and she was really nasty , wont be going there again.

The reason I've only given a 3 rating is because Butterwicks cakes are so sickly. There's way too much butter cream on the cakes. I'm sure the butter cream use to be different. Same as the icing on the doughnuts.very sweet. Also the sponge is very dense and stodgy. I've heard a few people say the same. I loved Butterwick as well. šŸ˜•.

Nice bar, good food, friendly staff, BUT DO NOT USE THE TOILETS šŸ¤¢. They were absolutely disgusting! I should of known when walking up the stairs to them! I donā€™t think they had been cleaned for weeks!cobwebs everywhere, no toilet paper, toilets hadnā€™t and wouldnā€™t flush! No lock on the doors!! Terrible.. and the smell!! šŸ¤¢šŸ¤¢.

Ordered a Cookie Dough milkshake on a visit back to Lincoln. I last had one here a few years ago and it was really good. The sign outside says they donā€™t use syrups, and use real ingredients instead. What they actually used was a powder, mixed with ice cream and milk, for the flavour. There was no actual cookie dough, like there used to be. For over Ā£5, it was a disappointing and expensive mistake I wonā€™t bother making again. Farewell, Eskimoo.

I eat here regularly with my daughter, when she has a day off work. The food is always lovely. Main meals offer vegan/ vegetarian/gluten free options, There is good choice of cakes and drinks. The home made soups are always really nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The menu isn't massive, but I wouldn't expect it to be in this setting and prices comparable to other cafes in the local / surrounding area .

Had a walk around this nice garden centre before we decided to have a snack in the cafe as feeling peckish. I had the turkey brioche sandwich which was nice but expensive at Ā£9.95. My partner had the cream tea at Ā£5.95 with the scone being tasty. Also I had regular latte at Ā£3.20. Nice place run by friendly staff which helped pass a few hours of our day.
