Butterwick in Corby

We went to Butterwicks and Ellie was brilliant we went to the store on industrial estate near the Theory test Centre. what a great employee.

Love the styling of Butterwick, the coffee is great, especially love the Frappe with the no extra charge whipped cream! However have to agree with the other reviews, the bakes look the part, but are very sweet. They also stopped making my favourite Wagon Wheel biscuit, which was the best!

Purchased a variety of four cakes- all were very sweet and sickly! Hot chocolate was lukewarm and tasteless. I would not return or recommend

I had a a great time at the rugby location could not find it on here and felt welcomed had an amazing experience would like to thank all the girls Charlotte Cerys and Whitney felt like was part of the coffe family had a great experience defo will he recommending the shop to my friends and family never been a fan of coffe until I came here and good prices by far out beats costa and Starbucks thanks you again girls

The reason I've only given a 3 rating is because Butterwicks cakes are so sickly. There's way too much butter cream on the cakes. I'm sure the butter cream use to be different. Same as the icing on the doughnuts.very sweet. Also the sponge is very dense and stodgy. I've heard a few people say the same. I loved Butterwick as well. 😕.

Coffee is nice, the cakes look nice but are not that great, the doughnuts were just a massive piece of stale bread and the other cakes have a cheap taste to them… this was my third and last time.. thought I would try something different from each store.

Lovely little cafe with fantastic and quite elaborate cakes and bakes! Well priced considering and really friendly staff too

Missing items and they are useless when you try to get your money back,terrible operation when it goes wrong,wont be using again,i will find another treat at cafe bloc a few doors down

Been here a few times with my girlfriend to treat her. Went the first time and the cakes were dry and tasteless and the doughnuts are like tasteless lumps of bread with a bit of sugary icing dumped on top. Gave the benefit of the doubt so went a second time only to be patronised by the staff and the cakes were still as bad tried a cookie this time and it was like eating a sweet brick. Don’t understand the hype at all and reading other views they clearly think the same. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY DISGUSTING BAKES AND RUDE OWNERS

Me and my wife have wanted to visit one of these stores for ages, as we have heard good things, and we finally got round to going to the Wellingborough branch. But I have to say I was quite disappointed with the tastes and overly sweet choices we chose, we had the biscoff donut, cherry bakewell cupcake, chic orange brownie, and another brownie, they were all soo sweet, too sweet for us and I do normally have a sweet tooth, also there wasn’t much biscoff flavour at all with the donut, again the sweetness was just overpowering. The cherry bakewell flavour in the cupcake tasted very synthetic and chemically, aswell as sweet. Overall pretty disappointed, maybe we chose the wrong options, but based on 4 very different ones all having the same lack of flavours and too mush sweetness we won’t be rushing back for more.

Ordered a custom brownie cookie & collected from Market Harborough store. Fantastic taste very yummy. Order was rushed through so much appreciated. Definitely recommend

I always grab a cappuccino from here when in old Corby , I would indulge in a cake too but on three visits have been told they don’t make any gluten free - you’re missing a trick because there are a lot of us . They do however offer a lot of vege and vegan offerings . Sadly a poor review

I visited this new Market Harborough outpost a few times since it opened a couple of months ago. I love their cup cakes especially the “Cookie Monster” and “Birthday Cake”. The doughnuts are fine. All the cream is dense and creamy. A good place for sweet treats at a reasonable price.

We purchased a vegan birthday cake which was good, though a bit sweet for my liking but the kids didn't mind. However, the cakes are all generic so would be better if could offer some customizing. When I enquired about just adding happy birthday I was informed that this was not possible. Having said that, would probably use again.

Everything about this place screams success. And it's lovely to see local people have a great business and I so wanted to be a regular customer here to support them and As much as I want to write how tasty the four treats we got were. I was left a little shocked by how bland and stale it was. I bought these at 12:30. It was like the day befores batch. I had high expectations considering most of corby town rates it. Sadly I was not pleased with what we got.and probably won't visit again for a sweet treat but I want to support them so I'll go back for coffee next time.

I cannot understand the rave reviews, we have purchased cupcakes, cookies and brownies on two occasions now and they have all been awful! Everything looks amazing but is let down by the taste. Cupcake sponge is doey and has an unpleasant taste, loaded with sickly sweet icing that does not even taste good. The cookies, we had a sticky toffee and carrot, were inedible. Recipes definitely need reviewing!
