Sat waiting while owner was smoking ordering staff about.when received my breakfast it has a funny taste to it... I'd order fresh balms but keep away from cooked

This is what I would call a workers cafe, no frills here, just decent filling food, a great mug of strong tea all at a very reasonable price and good quick service.

Derby road
Stayed at this hotel for one night, as a stop over, when on our way up to North Yorkshire for a short break. A lovely hotel with lots of character. All staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very bright ... double aspect windows.... and very clean. Nice en_suite bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great too. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Derby RoadCame here for a 30th the venue was really nice and the staff were absolutely fantastic highly recommended

Heanor RoadCracking pub on the nain road between Ilkeston and Heanor. 3 hand pumps for real ale fans , lagers and ciders also on offer. Dont be put off that its part of the Pub People chain, the food is very good, good value for money and served on nice hot plates. Take a look at the Specials board in the restaurant area , as these are home made dishes prepared by the wonderful Sue. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. Will be back next week
