Debbie liaised with our daughter in Australia and put on an excellent spread of very good quality food at a very reasonable price. All the staff were extremely helpful, the room prepared and decorated nicely and the garden full of colourful flowers.

Do Not use this place!! Went and enquired about having the use of the room for a party, The steward Stuart couldn’t have been more accommodating, so we left a deposit spoke about the club supplying the catering for £300 which we decided it would be easier for them to do so went the next day asked what we get ect.. and it sounded perfect and so paid for catering. The party day came and omg what a disappointment!! I have never known such rude people the land lady Debbie was the worse. As for the food there wasn’t even £100s worth it was embarrassing. My mother whom is disabled was told (well shouted at) she couldn’t sit in a certain seat because it’s for members only I would have understood where the land lady (Debbie) was coming from if there was no seats left and that a lot of members were in the club but there was only the birthday party people and no members apart from 3 that was sitting at the bar. We was told to leave as soon as 12 came. Only good point was one young lady behind the bar was so understanding and attentive. Also Stewart’s finger nails were filthy and it was his responsibility to do the catering so most of the party didn’t touch the food. The Northampton con club made what should have been a very special occasion an absolute nightmare and disappointment. As I say the Northampton CON club is a con. I’m surprised the committee aren’t more aware of the goings on,I feel sure the couple running the club are doing things against the law and pocketing money that should normally go towards the catering ect...I feel this all makes the committee look bad also.

At the time of booking the lady was fantastic. When it came to the actual party however we were very disappointed. Firstly the steward was rude and uninviting from the moment we arrived. He had an attitude and had a comment for everything we did. Secondly the buffet was a complete let down. We paid £390 for 3/4 trays of sandwiches, 1 tray of onion bajis, 1 tray of duck spring rolls and 2 trays of mini quiches, how disgusting is that?! Throughout the night the steward kept threatening to keep the deposit over the littlest thing, thankfully we didn't pay a deposit because they would have kept it for no reason, they can't even say it was for the mess as we paid for a cleaner when booking. We had the room until 1am with last orders at midnight but as soon as last orders were called they were basically forcing us out the door! Another thing was we were told cars could be left overnight in the car park and we could come back the next day and collect presents etc. Well at 8.30 in the morning they wanted the cars gone and we were told to take everything with us on the night and squeeze it into taxis! The only nice thing we have to say is the girls being the bar were fantastic!

La comida estaba bien caliente, y para catering en masa fue excelente. El personal era muy amable y el alojamiento excelente.
