Delivery: don't just don't, if you are in the shop you can atleast call them on their frequent mistakes, on delivery you get no lunch or the wrong lunch, these people hire monkeys and pay them peanuts!

Well what can I can - food is great so is the coffee but the service is dire and the staff really need to put a smile not their faces, I only use this place for convenience nothing else.

Slow service and often out of food, waited 20 minutes for my breakfast and my roll was made with no sauce when I specifically asked for brown sauce.

Capsule Review:Ages: 40Group size: 1Activity: Lunch break takeoutHad a walk around town on my lunch break and needing to pick up something for lunch decided to pop in to Gregg's in the Newlands Centre. This Gregg's is smaller than the High Street branch put still has plenty of choice in terms of cakes, sandwiches, drinks etc and even, has a small seating area inside.I decided on a Tandoori chicken baguette. The baguette was fairly soft, with just a slight crunch, which is how I like them. The amount of filling was ok, would have liked a little bit more, but it was tasty and made for an enjoyable lunch.

We go fairly often and it has become a bit of a habit but we enjoy the selection of carvery vegetables and the atmosphere. The numbers depend on how many family members there are

Just had a nice meal here, being a Monday evening it was quiet but the service was good and the food also good.

Recently my wife and I, visited, i ordered the small fish and chips, as the name implies ,I didn't expect it to fill the plate, but what I got shocked me, the cod in batter was a tiny strip no larger than a fish finger, when I commented on this I received a sorry about that with a smirk, frankly it was insulting being served this miniscule piece of fish ,pathetic TBH one star rating

Last Saturday lunchtime my wife and I called in at the Thornhill Arms. I hadn't been in for years but had heard it was now being run as a proper pub rather than the restaurant it used to be. What a mistake we made. We were the only customers but we still ended up waiting about ten minutes and nobody attempted to serve us, despite a member of staff behind the bar being able to see us waiting. Eventually I moved through into the other bar to seek service where I was greeted by a female staff member who's tone of voice towards me made me feel more like an unwanted intruder than a customer. When I explained that I wanted to buy some drinks her only response was a rather aggressive statement informing me that no food was being served. Eventually we managed to obtain two drinks. A pint of lager for my wife when we had asked for a half, and a pint of craft ale for me which, despite the barmaid's assurance that it was okay, turned out to be disgusting and undrinkable. When I returned my pint I was then charged full price for a pint of cider, no allowance being made for the undrinkable pint. Safe to say we shall not be rushing back.
