Second visit. Love the Greek skewers, big plate of food and delicious. Staff are lovely and the service is great.

We called in for lunch after completing an event at Rutland Water. The menu was limited, but offered some interesting choices. Unfortunately, the food did not fulfil our expectations and porportion sizes were small meaning my partner and son left hungry. Therefore an expensive meal. The service was adequate, but not overly friendly. Sadly, we will not be returning, despite the great location.

Excellant beers, and srveral to choose from. Alas a week late for beer festival. No food at moment (sept 2024). But the beer and the service good.

Fabulous olde world pub tastefully decorated and offering a great choice of ales including 2 cask ales . We'll worth a visit .

Amazing place. Really like it here. Proper hidden little gem

Only ordered 2 sandwiches but weren't served for 50 mins. Once highlighted the food arrived quite quickly and a round of drinks given in compensation. Would return as the food was amazing.

Thank you for such a wonderful Sunday afternoon. The whole experience was 1st class and our foreign visitors were amazed by the quality of the food. We recommend from the special the Lamb served with a mint gravy that is truly out of this world whilst not forgetting the bottle of red. 5*+

Fantastic Sunday Dinner, Debbie the waitress was brilliant. Both of the kids ate everything & Jaxons ( Children’s) ice cream was enough for two. Needless to say I have booked for this Sunday.

Came for breakfast for the first time was very impressed the service was good so was the everything else
