The Green Man Inn in South Northamptonshire

Had a great experience, really friendly staff and excellent service. Food was delicious, and plenty of vegan / vegetarian options. I had the mushroom and ale pie. Ideal location for lunch or dinner after a walk at Stowe Gardens. Definitely would go back. We have pretty high standards but we were impressed, deserves a higher rating on TA than it currently has :)

We were staying at the Premiere Inn by the Green Man Inn. From the moment we arrived until we left the pub both Steph and Ben were absolutely amazing. The hospitality was pleasant. The food was lovely, 3 members of the party had shepherds pie, whilst the other two members had grilled sea base which were both delicious and flavoursome. A big thank you from us and will definitely recommend and return.

Lovely roast Sunday dinner and pudding. The staff were very inviting and don't rush you which is nice. Quaint old English pub to boot.

This was an unexpected gem. We had booked to stay at the premier Inn opposite for a trip to Silverstone. The pub is warm, friendly, very stylish - and the food is superb. We were all really impressed. Would recommend

To be honest I wasn’t expecting much of a chain pub next to a well known hotel chain. My mistake, staff were really friendly and chatty, landlord was great checking in on us and having a chat despite being relatively busy. Kids all really enjoyed their meals and mine was excellent. Actually cooked not just microwaved and/or deep fried.

Was greeted as soon as we walked in, friendly welcome.. Ed is a real asset to your team - service quick and food was spot on.

Excellent food and service. We arrived at 12, so not sure what the service would be like later but no complaints. Also, extremely convenient for Silverstone (our visit).

Head Man and 2 students waiting-on, on a very busy 3 day motorsport weekend. Nothing but limp excuses. Poor service. Cold food. A booked evening meal, I watched added to the computer. Then on the Sunday, I didn't exist! Shoved in a corner in the bar. No roasts, no steak & ale pie, no fish and chips... Oh and a 25 minute wait to take the order. With a potential 1 hour wait for food. Each order came from the kitchen wrong. Shoddy and disgraceful.. Wholly unimpressed!

Nice food and friendly service from Ben. Handy when staying at the hotel next door. Has a garden at the back which was pleasant to relax in after a long day.

A nice dinner and dessert in lovely surroundings. Very accommodating of children's dietary needs. Fab staff all round with our server being Ed. He was very polite and helpful. Good evening had. We will consider returning while we're in the area.

Great atmosphere and lively staff enjoyed my visit very much will return in the future food was excellent as well.

Sunday lunch was delicious. Good choice at reasonable prices, though I used clubcard vouchers, so the food was free! Ed was our waiter, a really polite and professional young man - helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely come here again.

very accommodating, polite staff, lovely clean and tidy pub, plenty of options food and drink, plenty of parking, price good for the area. Would definitely recommend, I know struggled a little bit with staff but nothing to fault they still did there absolute best.

As a family of 7 come for Sunday lunch at the pub,after being seated they took 35 minutes to get a drinks order taken and a further hour to get our dinner, not enough staff, service very poor, not enough staff will not be coming back and advise anyone else to do so

Most enjoyable lunch at The Green Man: tea, sea bass and scallop risotto, rib - eye steak with mushroom and garlic sauce, seafood mixed grill; Pinot noir Cote Chalonaise; salted caramel sundae, spicy squid (savoury in lieu of pudding!), mini caramelised cheesecake, mocha. Delicious food, exemplary service. Nice.
