Harvester Grange Park in Northampton in South Northamptonshire

We went into the harvester for some tapas and salad - after visiting a number of different restaurants this branch has the BEST salad bar I have seen. The selection is vast and super tasty and it was all full and very clean. The whole area around the help yourself section was very tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks all

Had a lovely breakfast Saturday morning, delicious food and amazing service from Fran, really went above and beyond for us!

Well kept venue staffed by awesome people who are genuinely lovely. Shout out to Charlie and Lily who were extremely attentive and professional. Well done, thank you and keep it up.

Will was very helpful and efficient! We had a nice and relaxing meal :) 100% order accuracy. Salad bar was well stocked with full range of sauces available.

The staff were lovely. Husband and daughter enjoyed their food, unfortunately my steak was not. Asked for medium rare, got rare but very strange texture. Sent it back. Didn't end up having a main course. The young girl serving us was lovely. I didn't want to cause a fuss. Was refunded the cost of the meal. Could have offered a voucher for a return visit.

I recently visited a Harvester pub that was advertised as family-friendly, but I had a very disappointing experience. While there, a woman walked into the men's toilet, and when I brought it up with the manager, she seemed completely unconcerned. In fact, she claimed it was "absolutely fine." It's shocking to me that a family-oriented establishment would allow such a blatant disregard for privacy and common decency. The toilets should be a safe and private space, and allowing someone of the opposite sex to walk in like that is unacceptable. What's worse is the management's indifferent attitude towards the whole situation, showing a lack of professionalism and concern for customer comfort. If Harvester wants to maintain its reputation as a family-friendly pub, they need to address issues like this seriously, rather than brushing them off. This experience really affected my perception of the place, and I wouldn’t recommend it until they sort out their approach to customer privacy and safety.And to Peter the manager it was a woman who walked into the male toilet not a man stop trying to change your storie you even said it was a woman on the cctv to me in the morning when I came to see you they was alot of witnesses aswel and you said you feel scared to challenge this !!

We came in on a very busy saturday night, we booked in advance and got sat straight away. Our server was caitlin, she was very polite and very caring for our needs, she reccommended the wing n wave combo which was amazing. Very quick service for a saturday night. We will definelty be returning. Thank You!!

Abysmal place, avoid it if you can. Food is mediocre, we all know its comes cooked frozen, grilled/heated glazed and served. Salad bar is a joke..premade or from Tins opened & drained and put on a bowl. Now to important bit..Service is horse manure at best. Forgive me those 2-3 young & new staff member who were working hard, but the oldies are in there era & zone of there own, probably working 30 mins in there 8 hr shifts ( why would you, when you have youngsters to slog ) ..No customer service, no decency..would be much better to have counter service. This kind of restaurants with this kind of service usually close down in major and decent towns, alas they found a spot , nestled between 2 three star hotels and off M1, So no choice for most punters unless they dig and find some excellent gem 15 mins away..Aka the Telegraph Moulton, or The Artichoke Service doesnt deseve Any stars.. .probably Negative 5

Like so many of these types of restaurants steaks are a big failure. Sorry to say if l had score out of 5 it would get a 1.5 my steak was 5mm thick. I feel the tread in these restaurants is doulbe the price and half the quality, disappointed 😞

Everything was perfect. From walking through the door we were greeted, service was excellent, food was excellent. Certainly not a "whip it quick" place, very relaxing, inviting atmosphere. Ordered 2 rack of ribs, simply salmon, Bird Surf & turf for party of 4. Choice is good, however would have liked to have seen, sea bass or swordfish on the menu, however guess there's not much call for that. Caitlin our server was attentive, relaxed and made us feel welcome. A certain credit to the great team there. Will certainly visit again, hopefully soon!

Easily the best harvester we have ever been to, our lovely waitress (who I think was called naomi) really went above and beyond, all the staff were actually fantastic and the food was spot on as usual!

Plenty of parking which always helps. Remember to register your vehicle when you enter though. Good was cooked lovely with a good variety of options being available. Attentive staff without making us feel rushed.

Huge disappointment. Kitchen staff clearly don't care about the food they put out. Either that or they're working on a very strict and uninspired cooking method. Food was either totally and utterly bland, relying on their small range of boring sauces, or it was overdone to the point of being inedible. Sent back two meals immediately, massively overcooked pizza was rock hard. Don't bother. We just spent £60 on absolutely boring meals propped up by a dull salad bar and overpriced, entirely sugar free 'bottomless' drinks. Miserable. Never again.

Service was slow, almost unacceptable. Good was good, but the place could do either some quiet background music.

We went just after the balloon festival. Food was very good and looked good. Our friend had the full ribs, my wife had half a chicken with vegetables, I am my friend had a burger that was very nice and big. And good salad.

Great place to take children. The salad cart is fresh and let's little ones choose. Food is good for a family type restaurant and free refills ate available for certain soft drinks

I wasn't expecting much and my expectations were fully met! The so called ( they stick it on the food prices) "free" salad bar was barley edible with rolls so dry the crumbled when cut. I ordered the fish and chips and mushy peas at £16. As their were 3 shall we say food warmer uppers I got a piece of obviously frozen fish that was almost inedible, frozen oven chips and watery tasteless mushy peas. I paid the bill not trusting them to produce an edible sweet, never to return. Do yourselves a favour and go elsewhere!

Quieter than some Harvesters as out of the way and by a business park but just as good as any of the others.

Eaten here quite a few times - food and salad bar is always good, staff always good too. A very reliable "go to" for a nice meal out, and day of the week and whatever the weather.

Went for dinner on Tuesday and it was very busy. We were served by Holly who gave us very good service and was very attentive to all our needs. The food was hot and tasted very nice. We would definitely come back.

Went to lunch today and was served by charlie, i cannot emphasise enough how happy i was with my service! He was happy to help with everything! He was so very polite and was very efficient.

The food was very good, and the allergen menu was easy to use. Unfortunately, the salad was pretty much empty, and the restaurant wasn't very clean, including a sticky table.

Was surprised how cheap the food was and the free access to the salad and bread bar with our dinner meal was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and the selection of drinks was impressive, the service was also really good and our server Georgina-May was really friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this place.

We dropped in for an ad-hoc lunch, having been on previous occasions. The meal more than lived up to our expectations, and the service was swift, attentive, and pleasant without being pushy. A big thank you to Naomi, who looked after us so well.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn directly opposite so stayed for 4 night and apart from one night attending a wedding wed Don we ate every night here. The food and service was impeccable and very good prices and huge portions. Great service and lovely staff. Thoroughly recommended

First of all when I walked in I got a great first impression place was clean staff seemed friendly! I was greeted by Peter who showed me to my table where I was then served by holly! And all I can say is she provided me with the best service she was so friendly and helpful! She has done a great job! I guess the food was nice just a bit disappointing but I’d say Hollys service was definitely the highlight of the night

Really tasty food.Good sized portions. Maybe should serve little ones with their food first as our little one was served last and started to worry they hadn't got food. Brought wrong order for drink but other than that enjoyable time

Easy access off the M1. Good food and drink. Spent about £60 for 3 people. This includes breakfast and drinks.

Really friendly staff very helpful. I have the lunchtime option. Simply chicken with jacket potatoe it does come with other things but because they have a free salad that's all I have on my plate.

Table booked for 19:45, had to wait for a table as none of the previous diners tables had been cleared. Sat down at 19:55 and walked past by the waitress numerous times! Eventually at 20:25 and still no service, went to the bar to order drinks and food and sit in the bar area! Waitress that was supposed to be serving us in the restaurant spent most of the time dithering behind the bar talking to the barman. Food when it arrived was lukewarm at best! No apology from the young manager who was obviously out of his depth. Customers were complaining and walking out. This was the worst I have seen this restaurant and I have been a regular user. Additionally, the salad bar was not topped up at all. I had to clear a table in the bar area just so we could get a seat to eat. Extremely disappointed doesn’t cover it.

Menu choices were good, sadly availability was lacking. Might be beneficial to train your staff to engage with guests as they arrive, rather than ignore them. We stood with another family to be seated and we were both ignored by four staff until I asked to be seated

Went for Sunday lunch, and it was fairly quite. Sadly it was cold in there too. We both had salad but the salad bar needed topping up. Once the food arrived it was lovely, some items had been on the plate a little while and could have been warmer. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

Party of six dining weekend at 12 for lunch. 5 adults 1 child. Greeted at the door in a friendly manner and shown to our table which we had pre booked. Nice and spacious, and had lots of room. Very quickly we were offered drinks which is excellent as most places can take a while and take both food and drinks orders at the same time. Was nice to look through the menu whilst having a drink. We ordered our food and headed for the salad bar. Unfortunately, someone had forgotten to put the butter out for the rolls, so we had to find someone to get butter. Salad bar area, however, was clean and well presented, and all the food looked fresh. When our mains arrived, they were of good portion sizes. Chips didn't have a normal fresh look, and my peppercorn sauce had split and went cold very quickly. Rump on both our meals was a bit tough, but to be honest, Rump is hit and miss in all venues. The chicken was amazing, succulent with lots of flavour. The vegetarian options were great, and the 2 dishes that came out looked amazing apart from the chips. We ordered desserts as it was mine and mum's birthday that we kept quiet. Wasn't till I got home that I realised that my crushed oreos were missing. Bit disappointed, but to be fair, the dessert was banging and generous portions, so have a break before ordering to fully enjoy. Had a nice expresso to follow and chilled whilst my bro and dad left for the Rugby. Go, Saints.... Charlie was our main server, who got a bit tongue tied at one point but was great and very polite. Check back was a bit on the slow side, hence why I didn't complain about the sauce, etc. Would I go back here again. YES... probably order chicken dishes or vegi next time as they looked the best options, and next time I get a dessert, check the spec. Shame a couple of things lost them a star, but all in all, a good place to take the family for a nice meal.

Was served by a lady called Naomi, don’t normally write reviews much but I have to for this occasion, what an absolutely lovely lady harvester has working for them, she was kind, put our needs first and gave everything she got for us, not often u see this kind of service nowadays but she really made the place feel really safe and comfortable and welcoming, ik this is a lot to say lol but she really is a credit to this place she made our experience absolutely amazing and will definitely be coming back again!! Food good, when it eventually arrived. Service was slow. Lots of servers rushing about, but little apparent action. 'Bottomless coffee' difficult to get hold of, and not worth waiting for.

I came here for a catch up with my friends after Easter. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. Especially our waitress Gracie who was friendly and very smiley. She was very attentive and recommended a meal which I very much enjoyed. Will definitely visit again 😄

Cold eggs warm bacon and uncooked toast (bread!!!). I’m a frequent Sunday breakfast taker, it’s great to eat out and a good excuse to meet the family. I’ve been to many Harvester’s and enjoyed their breakfast, so early on Sunday morning when my sons said ‘do you want to meet for breakfast’ I suggested morning the local harvester. We arrived at 09;05 so they had only just open, however, the scrambled eggs were cold, to get scrambled eggs at 09;08 they must if been left over from the day before! Biting in to the bacon I was disappointed to find it was only just warm, how is that possible harvester, the sausage, hash brown,and mushroom were all piping hot!!! One item cold I could ignore, two was not great, but then picking the bread up and it looked like it had been through one of those hotel toaster once it was slightly warn and no colour. PLACE LOOKED NICE, SERVICE WAS GOOD, BUT THE FOOD, ON THIS OCCASION WAS POOR.

Before I could finish my salad my starter came out before I finished my starter my dinner came out felt rushed all night didn't enjoy at all.

This was a standard harvester that I live close to and have frequented a number of times. The food was of good quality and more importantly it was hot.

Popped in after being disappointed somewhere else nearby. Managed to get us in on a busy Friday night. We had a mixture of steaks and combos, all were cooked perfect and I will definitely be returning.
