The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving British food

Visiting London and met up with our daughter and wanted somewhere nice for Mothers Day. The Sunday lunch was fantastic and superb service. If you are in the Southwark area or near Tate Modern then check out this hidden gem.

First time visit, and very nice to. Easy to miss but a nice little pub with a great view. Nice and friendly, beer good to. Not fine dining, but nice pub for sure

Everything in headley fine foods is yummy to the extreme, in fact it is probably the best thing about headley! The owners are lovely people, and make this not just a place to get delicious food, but also a really important part of the village. I think I could get addicted to the Victoria sponge though… you have been warned

Great little cafe with lovely staff and good honest food. Been here a couple of times and very consistent on food and drinks quality and a fair price also. I would definitely recommend a visit and confident you won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Bridge. So comfortable and homely in a very characterful building. Thank you Carol and Jon for your incredible hospitality. The breakfast is excellent with a variety of choices, plenty of flexibility and really good coffee. The local knowledge of walks was invaluable and really makes this place stand out. I wish there were more b and bs like this.

Never open don’t know why it’s still going , it’s not the same anymore since the lovely lady who did the cooking left , foods disgusting now and staff are rude !! Don’t bother

Encontré esto muy cerca de la estación Marylebone, ya que preferimos no usar cafeterías de cadena - buena elección de comida y se sirve rápidamente: bastante ajustado para el espacio, pero hasta ahora siempre han sido capaces de conseguir una mesa (para 2 - podría ser más difícil para grupos más grandes). After using Millie’s for takeaway lunch at work I thought I would go and eat at the cafe, on arrival I found plenty of parking spaces and the cafe inside had a lovely, calm, family feel to it. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was lovely and the portions were very generous

Dear Google could you please add a drive in road inside to COFFE HOUSE as the location is ending at the main road which is real inconvenience in rainy season specially with children and senior citizens

Just had a delightful afternoon tea yesterday at this lovely little spot and cannot recommend it highly enough. We have sampled afternoon tea in many top notch hotels and none of them come close to what the Cake room offers. Fresh home made soup to start followed by scones with jam and cream, a selection of sandwiches and wraps, gorgeous sausage rolls and a wonderful selection of sweet treats and all home made. Absolutely beautiful and enough left over to fill two large boxes to take home. We will def be back. Welll done to the owner and the lovely staff working there!

Wonderful staff, good food, clean toilet. Gave us a sausage for our two dogs! We will definitely come back and sample some more goodies!😄😄

Popped in for some lunch, clubhouse was freezing cold and didn’t bother to stop, waitress dressed unprofessionaly and certainly no smile

Me and my daughter went before she got her ears pierced. My daughter got a strawberry lemonade and I tried the banana split cream frappe. The strawberry lemonade was lovely and refreshing but my daughter preferred the banana split frappe (she had never tried a strawberry lemonade before). The frappe tasted just like a banana milkshake!! The place was lovely and clean and had a nice modern look. The staff was super helpful and friendly (even when I tried asking if they did a cookies and cream frappe as I hadn't realised it wasn't a Starbucks anymore) you genuinely would never be able to tell the difference. All I've thought about since last Saturday (3rd May) was the banana split cream frappe. Please don't EVER take it off the menu!! 10/10. I hope one day you give the option to deliver to!

Food was very tasty and decent portions but starting to get a bit expensive in my opinion so will push customers away over time. Ordered on New Year’s Eve so food took a couple of hours to be delivered but was informed 40 to 60 minutes initially. Please don’t price yourself out of business.
