Middleton Hall Golf Clubhouse in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

We would just like to say a huge 'Thank you' to all the staff who were involved with organizing the reception following our mother's funeral. The food was superb, varied and plentiful and tea and coffee was served all afternoon. The views were beautiful over the golf course and the seating was comfortable and spacious. We particularly liked the screen where we were able to show pictures from our mother's life. A special mention must go to Helen who discretely and professionally took care of us. Thank you. We highly recommend.

Lovely food, well presented in a relaxed, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Good value too, portions were generous and all fresh vegetables. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Altogether a good place to go for good food and I think we will be going back for more.

As a family we can't thank Dave and his team at Middleton Hall Golf Club for hosting mum's wake. They catered for 150 people with care, sympathy and respect. They even gave us a few wonderful ideas to make the day perfect. Five stars is not enough to show our gratitude. Mum would have been blown away by it, from the outstanding food (hot and cold), drinks and wonderful staff. Well done to you all, we will always remember that day, you made it special and people are still staying what a special but difficult day it was. Thank you again Dave and team. The Taylor family

Just played a round at this course. Well worth the money, quite challenging but not long. Staff really helpful & Friendly especially Dan in the golf shop. Would definitely recommend & if in the area again would come back. Thanks once again.

my second visit this month,nice scenic views and walks. free parking. staff lovely couldn’t do enough. Beautifull freshly made Afternoon Tea. Great selection of sandwiches and cakes and unlimited Tea. Highly recommend. Be aware what time it closes as gate is locked.

My husband is a member at this golf club and we join some friends for a Sunday Carvery. The food was hot and lots of it, everything was home made and very nice. A nice place to eat with views over the golf course.

Very impressed with the service nothing was too much trouble my husband has to have low fat meals and was really well looked after certainly one of our favourite places to eat!!!

Nice meal and atmosphere here, nice warm welcome from all the staff. We had all pre-ordered our meals as there was about 20 of us.

All the staff are really nice and helpful, going that extra mile to make sure you have a great day. Would highly recommend.

So close to being a great Sunday Lunch! Lets tell you about all the positives...a superb venue...........a great bar...... really friendly staff........... for carvery food....for once veg not all over cooked....... so what went wrong? sorry food just not hot enough! Saying that...would we go back? well yes...but not top of the list.

We booked this on a short tour of Norfolk that we do each year. Got in on a Saturday for £99 for 4 ball. Was concerned after the first 2 holes as they are a bit bland and not really defined. However as we progressed further into the course it ended up being really nice with some great holes with tree lined and water hazards. We all enjoyed the round and agreed for a Saturday Course it was very good value. Once you into the 4th hole it is very enjoyable. A great hole over a water hazard lies ahead with what looks like a tricky tee shot but is reality you just need to hit 50 yards to go for the green with your next shots. We left a couple of two ball members through who were very polite and appreciate us not holding up their game. If you want to add a cheap good course on a tour I would recommend this.

Visited the clubhouse with my father and sister for fathers day Sunday lunch. Had a table with lovely views over the golf club. We all had the Sunday lunch carvery which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a very relaxing afternoon. Thankyou will definitely be back.

Great golf club with really friendly and accommodating staff. Made to feel very welcome. The golf course is a challenging one for all handicaps and is in very good condition.

Played a round of golf and then went in to the clubhouse for refreshments. We all had hot sandwiches and they were delicious. Lots of filling and very nicely presented. Good value for money.

Went there for my wife's birthday for a lunch with family .the staff & food was excellent . Would definitely go again.

We drove two hours for a family celebration. Only to be told that my food would take an extra ten minutes after everyone else recieved theirs. The chips were swimming in oil and the chicken was cold.

36 holes with lunch and drinks afterwards... Good course, perfect for 36... Very friendly, great service, nice food, brilliant value.

I booked this Venue for my fiancé's 40th birthday and have not stopped receiving excellent reviews. The home cooked food really is something to experience. Well proportioned and extremely flavoursome. A foodies delight!Hand in hand with the five star food is the five star service. From my initial booking to the evening itself, the proprietors and staff were extremely helpful and attentive. I highly recommend a visit for lunch or dinner and if you are looking for a welcoming venue for a special occasion this is your place. Bravo!

The Golf course will keep you thinking, only complaint is having the end of the driving range going up the 1st and at the end of the 16th and beginning of 17th Tee. Just don't go right as you will be hit

Played Middleton's with the Metalair Golf Society (22 golfers), course is not long but it's course you have to think about your next shots, not just a 'rip one with a driver' thoroughly enjoyable.Course was in great condition with some of the best greens I've played on this year, staff were all friendly, food was good and we will be back again.

We have been to Middleton Golf Club for family Sunday meals several times now, the latest being today for Mothers Day. Mike and Mandy are wonderful hosts, the food is always very good and the service great.We also had a large family party there to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday, 50 guests all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the venue was perfect for our needs. Mike even went the extra mile to set up a Skype link for my mother to speak to family in Australia. We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a very good, reasonably priced meal in nice surroundings and will be returning soon.

We had friends staying the weekend from Sussex. They'd been looking at hotels, golf courses etc around Cromer as they were organising a golfing holiday for friends. As they stayed with us for the weekend we thought it appropriate to take them to Middleton Hall Golf Clubhouse for Sunday lunch. It was an excellent choice, we all agreed that the roast was excellent and also the puddings. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a very relaxed meal overlooking the course.

Two friends and I lunch here regularly. The decor has a Scottish feel to it with plenty of tartan in evidence. The overall effect is both pleasant and welcoming. The staff are delightfully friendly and the food has a real "home cooked" quality about it. Portions are generous enough and very reasonably priced. The menu is unsurprisingly geared to the needs of weary golfers and includes things like filled Baguettes, Ham Egg & Chips or Chicken Curry& Rice and sometimes home made Steak Pie,(a personal favorite). This is not haute cuisine but it is perfect lunchtime grub. The view across the Golf Course can be stunning in the right weather conditions too. All in all, a good place to while away an hour....or two with good company.

We enjoyed the game but we had a job to find some of the tees and a number of holes we just hit and hoped we were going in the right direction. The clubhouse was very well appointed and the staff were friendly.

We have been visiting Middleton Hall Golf Club regularly for our Sunday lunch, and have always been impressed with the quality of the meal and the attentiveness of the staff.We first booked for a wedding lunch with family and friends several months ago. We wanted somewhere a little special, rather than the usual pub or hotel. Mandy was so helpful with the organisation, and the prices so reasonable, that we have been back regularly. Menus range from traditional bar snacks through to full multi course, home cooked meals. Sunday lunch is usually a choice of plated meats, with a really good selection of vegetables, and a carvery on particularly busy days.The dining room is very light and airy, with great views over the golf course, a very pleasant place to while away the afternoon with friends, after a nice meal.
