Really lovely and friendly staff; lizzie and matt were very welcoming. Explained what drinks they had and made us very wonderful and tasty drinks for very reasonable prices. Just a very friendly place that goes out of it way to give fantastic service. You will not regret coming here like ourselves who had not been here before as we are new to the local area. Hope you try it yourselves!

I’ve been to this place many times and it’s always a chilled experience. The food is great the ambience and quirkiness is worth a visit alone. The pelican crossing to go to the loo. The bus seats to seat on. Bus stops on the roof. It really is a good night. Watch the videos of old route masters and London. The staff are very friendly and the openers put in a lot of effort to keep it fresh every visit.

Visited lighthouse cafe dudley today. Food was hot and absolutely delicious. Presentation was very good. Staff were very friendly and gave fantastic service. Would highly recommend going to eat. Ignore any negative comments especially from people who have commented and have never been there.

Completely the best porridge I have ever had (and I do eat it very frequently). I was so tempted to have another bowl.. but too full up! My other half had the avocado and pea with mushrooms on sourdough with a fried egg and was pretty much blown away by that too (and it takes a lot to impress him). Such reasonable prices (under £18 total for the two dishes!) and lots more on the menu to go back and try. Really lovely staff and dog-friendly dining. Fabulous.

Bought a salad box from here a few weeks ago, the gentleman in the shop was absolutely lovely and this was one of the best salads I have ever had. Will be back!

This place has everything! Wonderful fresh high quality products that never disappoint. The staff are excellent and Brindon is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. If you are in the area it’s well worth a visit.

The food was delicious and healthy. I had the salad option and it was packed with variety, colour and great taste. My son had soup and fresh bread and a sausage roll. We plan to return because the food was great at a really affordable price.

Stopped here for Sunday lunch there was 3 of us the owner and helper were extremely welcoming and the roast was fantastic with all locally sourced ingredients and rhubarb crumble was the best ive had for a long time

Chef Steve likes to discuss the menu with guests in advance, which increases the expectation of imaginative and beautifully presented meals. Even he admits that his portions are on the generous size – as will their guests be after a few of his meals. And then there's the banter with partner and sommelier Maurice ... great fun!

Wonderful quality coffee and breakfast. Can’t recommend highly enough or to wait to bring friends, family and business acquaintances here. Will be back ASAP to try the rest of the menu. We were staying over in Leek on a Sunday evening, wanting to sample some Staffordshire oatcakes the following morning, but the oatcake shop we wanted was closed on Monday! Poor planning. But luckily this place was open at 7.30 am and we found what we wanted here: oatcakes with various fillings such as bacon or tomato; all with cheese. If you've not tried them, Staffordshire oatcakes are very different to the Scottish biscuit that most people associate with 'oatcakes'. Here, they are a soft, flexible wrapper like a pancake, or perhaps a chapatti, made from a thin layer of a yeasted oatmeal/wheat batter griddled until it sets, then wrapped around your chosen filling. We took a pair of oatcakes with cheese and bacon, and a full English of 2 eggs, 2-3 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 toast, beans and tomatoes, plus extra hash browns. This was all in a takeaway tray - there is no table service here. It took about 10 minutes, which is fair enough as everything is cooked to order; but we were the only customers at that time. I imagine at busy times there could be quite a wait. The food was excellent, piping hot as you'd expect with it being cooked to order; and good value too, under £10 for the 2 breakfasts described above, though coffees added a bit more. Highly recommended.

We’ve ordered Sunday lunch a few times now from Stobhill bait and have never been disappointed! I’m very fussy about the quality of meat in any takeaway food & have tried both the pork & beef lunches, both were great. Veg & gravy lovely & really decent portion sizes! An excellent solution if you’re just on your own or can’t be bothered to cook.

So pleased we booked this, we had a lovely evening a lovely way to celebrate. The food was delicious and the wine package was really good, there was another 2 couples dining, and it was a pleasure to chat with them after the meal.A very personal evening thoroughly recommend
