Raffles 2 - Scarborough Road Torquay - opposite the Alfa Metropole Hotel. Old RAF Association (RAFA) pub. A very friendly family run pub with very welcoming staff and locals. The beer is good and the drink prices are really very reasonable. It is like being in a families front room. A lovely atmosphere in Raffles 2 - I love the place and certainly would be a regular if I lived in the area. Thank you to all for the exceptionally warm welcome. It is really well worth a visit.

On a trip to Torquay to see Gok Wan DJ,out B+B just down the road recommended Raffles 2 ,for a pint and something to eat. We went expecting average club service , but was welcomed with open arms ,friendly and helpful. They explained they were not cooking on a Friday lunchtime as they ordered I fish and chips. We ordered from them and within 20mins we had received a large ,tasty fish and chip meal . Drinks and food were very reasonably priced ,staff Al friendly(family run) ,we will definitely be returning in the summer Thank you

found this place on our Last day of staying across the road in the Abbey lawn Hotel. so wish we had noticed it earlier. drinks were half the price of hotels and much better than sitting in gods waiting room in hotel. friendly staff entertainment and football etc.

Stayed for a few days close-by and saw the sign outside advertising Sunday Lunch… The lunch and accompanying drinks were an absolute bargain… We enjoyed it so much that we called back to Raffles 2 on our way back to our B&B most days of our stay… We had a couple of further tea-time “basket meals” which were also great value… The hosts were lovely friendly people and it seems they had plenty of regulars who for obvious reasons returned regularly…

We are supporting this independent coffee shop by popping in for our weekly fix of superb coffee and in house bakes. Listen to albums from a huge selection as we relax in a friendly atmosphere.
