Liskeard market cafe in Gloucester

Great food lovely service excellent quality an price very down to earth.. We we're a group 4 breakfast to roast dinner all hot fresh an sizeable could not ask for more of anything hospitality was and is always great awesome all around..

We were staying in Liskeard and using my Brother's house while they were on Holiday. As such we decided to treat ourselves to Breakfast as we often do so when we are at home. It was our first visit to the Café. It was slightly disconcerting that we had to pay to park - and mildly irritating too! The Café was not busy when we arrived but filled up quickly and a few callers took food away. It is Family Run and we were greeted warmly by the Ladies who took our order. We opted for a very large, but hugely enjoyable, cooked breakfast each. We accompanied our food with tea and did not have to wait long for our food even though everything is cooked to order. While we eat almost everything we have our preferences particularly at Breakfast. The Café was completely accommodating in meeting our selections and so we were able to get the Hog's Pudding that we both enjoy and elect not to have beans! There are multiple options to enable any combination of items for your breakfast and it was all good quality and nicely presented. Readers may wonder why I have not made my Review Excellent. It is solely because, in totality, I felt it would be wrong to grade it as such when it was a Market Café and not Fine Dining. We eat at many restaurants and Cafés throughout the world and I award very few 5 star reviews. That is not in any way to mark down this establishment! In terms of welcome, quality of food, as well as choice and price, this Café is well at the top end. We recommend it highly and congratulate the Team for their efforts; we will return making sure we are hungry enough to fully appreciate our breakfasts!

I lovely breakfast, Friendly and helpful staff hot plates with hot food 10 out of 10, even when a large order was for food was being processed. We kept you informed of how long they expect to serve you but still very quick. So congratulations to the wonderful team.

Had another lovely breakfast at the cafe , with other Armed Forces Veterans. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. A very clean cafe and reasonably priced.

I went for breakfast with the AFVBC and was impressed with the food again. Food was lovely and service was friendly. The atmosphere was also great, will be back. Thank you.
