Nice lunch venue. Food reasonably priced and always served well. Clean. Friendly service!

Very busy, as it was lunch time, service great, great selection of food, salad was lovely but could do with some more cheese and olives, I only had 1 olive and my daughter had none, but had more cheese. Quiche was lovely and warm. Worth it to go back.

My salad was poor . Very watery not a good variety nor very tasty. Coffee was excellent as was the service . Incredibly hot inside but too cold to sit outside. A few tweaks needed but certainly worth a visit for a coffee

Sleeping in the hotel next door, I was advised to come and eat here, and honestly as soon as I arrived I was positively impressed because, the place is really very nice and furnished in a different way. There was no welcome with any smile unfortunately but, the boy at the cash register was very quick in reaching me; unfortunately the speed is also exaggerated, surely they will have many customers to satisfy and therefore the reason is understandable, but after ordering a tea and a full English breakfast, the tea was served to me after a minute and a half (good thing), the English breakfast was served to me after three minutes!!! English: The speed unfortunately highlights some things to improve, the aesthetic aspect really excellent, the taste very good, but the consistency of some things showed that they were prepared in advance, for example: the Bacon was incredibly hard, the sausages had a really black line where they had been left for a long time, the Hash Browns broke just by looking at them, I didn't have time to put them in my mouth that they immediately fell back on the plate, the eggs were overcooked with the yolk completely hard, and the cherry tomatoes only reheated but still raw (English breakfast, not salad), being an English breakfast it is assumed that the tomato should be cooked and not raw as in salads. The dessert was very good but, the sponge too dry and the chocolate cream too thick to balance everything, with every bite I had to drink to be able to swallow but, overall the flavor was there even if you couldn't taste the orange. I have to say, however, that after all these details that highlight a professional need, I ate everything with a slight regret but honestly almost happy. Lovely little coffee shop. Just the right place to meet up with friends and have a natter. The food and service are outstanding.

Lovely cafe with good food choices. Looks small from the outside but inside there is plenty of seating. Busy over 12-2 while we were there. The seats we had were bearable (but we have trouble with our backs so weren't totally at comfort). We had lattes- delicious coffee. Not badly priced- a family of 4 having 4 adult meals with cakes and drinks came to around £50. Left feeling very full and satisfied.

I wish we lived nearer! Dropped car to the Seat Garage, called in for an early coffee and vanilla pastry. It was so light and flakey, the best I've tasted in a long while! I spotted Greek salad, so after a lovely walk along the canal to Gloucester Docks, we specifically returned here for lunch. Oh my goodness, we were not disappointed! Two different hot sausage rolls, we both had potato salad and Greek salad, and a soft drink was less than £15 for all! Then I discovered that all the food is made here, you have some talented chefs! I'm actually going to plan a trip here again, just so that we can go for a walk and have another delicious meal. All the Staff were lovely and friendly too. Well done, what a find!

Decent coffee shop, stocks coffee from a local roaster, fire and flow

We had our breakfast here this morning as soon as it opened at 10am, then others staggered in and the place was packed within 30 minutes... we took this as a good sign! We're often on the lookout for a nice traditional fry up, and we have finally found another! Top marks on everything: layout, cleanliness and atmosphere, customer service and easy dish adjustments for fussy eaters, food quality, temperature and portion etc. Free WiFi for customers and dogs welcome, this place ticks all of our boxes! Highly recommend 👌

This is a great café that does interesting gluten free options for main meals and cakes, and interesting smoothies and lattés amongst lots of other things (the sausage rolls look amazing) and it's all reasonably priced. The interior of the café is quirky and cosy and there's a small amount of seating outside. It's always busy and it's because it's so good. Plus there's free parking for two hours in the carpark too.

Had breakfast here a few weeks ago and been craving it again since. I'm not local to the area and went with a friend but the service, coffee and food was amazing! I'd definitely return.

Lovely place to start the perfect Sunday morning!

It’s a nice enough place although VERY loud in terms of people noise (my mum had to leave) and the food is fine BUT I think they could do with upping their game in terms of menu. No scrambled or poached eggs just fried. I’ve seen smaller kitchens manage more. There just wasn’t really anything I wanted to eat. Porridge? Savoury crepes? Omelettes? Focaccia? Shaksuka? Come on Quedgeley, you can do it!!

Fab lunch, food was excellent. Salmon quiche was fresh & tasty, as was the salad. Share a bottle of lovely cold white wine. Great service will definitely be back.

Decided to go here as no where else was open big mistake Ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 bottles of drinks Cost £23 8 Does not look that appetising Bacon super over cooked sausages skinny horrible things so dense and no flavour Not even plum tomatoes just normal one put on the grill Will never go back there not worth the money

Best full English I have ever had!

I really do like this coffee shop and the food is amazing and I appreciate it’s dog friendly but I feel I do have to make a suggestion for the none doggy people about. I had brunch there the other day and to my amazement there was a total of 9 dogs in an eating establishment. One was even lifted up to the counter!!! Far too many for my liking. Surely the amount of dogs in there could be limited. We don’t all like eating and socialising with howling and barking dogs.

Met a friend, weekday, brunchtime. Had the Roastery breakfast with a brew. Really nice quality food, generous portion. Nice atmosphere, and staff were attentive. I imagine it would be a little busier at weekends. I would certainly recommend The Roastery😊

Service was a bit slow, had to ask for drinks ordered, think he forget, but it was very busy and food was excellent.

It can be incredibly tough to find tables during the weekend for breakfast, but that's really just a testament to how great it is. We like to come as a treat now and then for the Roastery breakfast and coffee, and every time it's been great

This was for a meeting of five. Everyone enjoyed their meal and everything was reasonably priced.

I visited on a busy Friday morning with 5 friends for brunch. They serve lunch until 11:45 and were super accommodating and let us order off the brunch menu even though the time had just passed. All the food came out within 10 mins of ordering. It was all lovely and fresh. I had the smashed avo and added bacon. It was absolutely was delicious. The drinks selection was also great with lots of coffee choices! The staff were warm and really friendly! They came to check we were happy with our food and were always smiling! It was a really lovely visit and I’m looking forward to the next time already :-)

I absolutely love it here! I am in there all the time, it is a great place to work from with a really friendly vibe. All of the staff are so polite and the owners are really lovely. The food is always delicious (my favourite is the bacon pancakes!!) and quick, despite it always being so busy in there you don't have to wait long at all! It is really family friendly and they love dogs in there too which is ideal as I can bring my little guy with me whenever I go. I cannot praise this coffee shop enough and I really hope it is around for many more years to come, it is by far the best in the Gloucester area.

Wonderful service and welcome. Excellent coffee and delicious breakfasts. We arrived with a busy toddler and the only table available had tall chairs. However our welcomer immediately saw our hesitation and came over to help. She called us when a table became vacant and settled us so kindly. The breakfast menu was varied - and we tested three of the options. All arrived promptly, with good quality ingredients. They were delicious. The coffee was great quality too. Thank you - we hope to return often!

Took my team for lunch here. 100% recommend. The food is delicious and filling. The plates were filled with top quality foods. Service was equally as excellent. Decent prices for what you get. The coffee is also very nice. Definitely would go back.

Lovely coffee and a nice atmosphere

I’ve being going to the roasters for the last 4 weeks and it’s been ok, yesterday was absolutely terrible. I ordered to 2 quiche and jacket potatoes and a take out quiche. The drinks arrived and then the tiny jackets and we waited for the quiche, then I asked where it was, to be told I hadn’t ordered it. The jackets were tiny, and cold and burnt we weren’t asked about salad or toppings and when I spoke to whoever about it, she was rude, very unhelpful and kept blaming me. I was never very impressed, but I am now very annoyed and certainly won’t be returning, despite it being so close to my treatment centre, possibly the worse customer service I have received.

A fantastic cafe on a little trading estate. I was traveling for work and on the look out for lunch and really hit lucky with this place. All the food and cakes on display looked delicious and the service is excellent.

Absolutely love The Roastery. Brought my partner along gor a visit, and he was impressed. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I would feel very comfortable coming here on my own. Everyone is welcome, and you are treated with polite, friendly service. Food is delicious and homemade.

People are always so attentive and avocado on toast with chorizo and egg is just delicious!

Lovely chilled cafe, food and drinks were both delicious. Dog friendly which was great and a few tables outside too if the weather is nice.

Our first visit to the Roastery we had coffee ☕️ and toasted tea cake which was very nice and a coffee which was nice and hot as so many places now it's hardly warm certainly will be returning

Have always enjoyed our visit here however today very disappointed at food quality & attitude of staff One of the items on all our breakfasts tasted very strange when I politely queried this the staff response was rude , no apology , one of our meals replaced , still in edible & customer on next table had same issue , no one followed up to check if our replacement meal was ok Will not be returning to one of our fave places previously .

Really nice green tea and the roastery breakfast was lovely. Very nice sausages and thick cut bacon. The only down side for me was that the hash browns and eggs were a bit too greasy. The service was lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a great selection of savoury pastries and coffees.

What a little gem of a coffee shop but not just a coffee shop though it has a wide menu covering breakfast and lunch with some great dishes, amazing coffee, and many other beverages to choose from it has a very friendly atmosphere and fantastic staff it was a pleasure to visit and will be returning.

Great cafe . Unusual quirky and modern. Food looked appetising and presented really well. Popular with young old and families. 2 hour free parking. I Had wild mushrooms with egg and thin tasty sausages.

The Roastery is our local go-to for a light lunch at the weekend. It's warm and welcoming with lunch/ brunch options, including nutritious dishes and indulgent baked treats. The wild mushrooms on toast from the breakfast menu are yummy. My only critiques are the lack of a meat-free cooked breakfast option, e.g., being able to sub normal sausages/bacon for a plant-based option. That said, I appreciate a small number of dishes done well, and there are other veggie options. Also, there's occasionally a lack of accompanying salad options left, but I expect this is a reflection of how busy it gets.

We stop here now and again after a weekly shop. Very relaxed atmosphere and very popular so you have to time it fight. The cakes and savoury sausage rolls are amazing, so is the coffee.

Have been here several times and the food was good, but the last 2 times I've been there hasn't been an option for me to eat. I am an awkward customer because I can't have gluten, wheat or dairy and I don't eat meat, but it would be nice to have a piece of cake with everyone else and a gluten wheat and dairy free cake are easy enough to make. Also my 7 year old niece wanted carrot sticks and hummus but we were told she couldn't have it because that was on the lunch menu and it was only 11.50am when we asked for it. Surely you could have provided her with that? Not sure I'll be back, which is a shame because we have always enjoyed coming in the past.
