We popped into The Village Tearoom for a cream tea whilst visiting Tintagel , my wife and I had cream teas and both thoroughly enjoyed them, two scones with fresh rather than tub clotted cream, real strawberries were added to the top of the jam which was a nice touch. The lady who served us was polite and very helpful. Well worth a visit.

Stopped in here for a cream tea after visiting the sites at Tintagel. Best cream tea I've had in any of my visits to England. The scones were clearly baked fresh and the jam even seemed homemade. Nice touch with some fresh strawberries. The service was very friendly and pricing reasonable.

What an absolute gem. Day trip as part of a holiday. Looked nice. Lovely welcome. The lady serving is an absolute delight. Smiling and friendly. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Serves cakes and teas. Huge selection and all homemade. We had a scone and ginger cake. Absolutely lovely. All the cakes displayed in domes looked fantastic. Lovely quality cup of tea. Everything beautifully presented. Can't praise it all enough. An excellent traditional Tearoom. Worth noting cash only, which is rather positive in many ways.

We've been visiting here every year for a few years now and the place never disappoints us. They do two things, scones and cakes, and by god they do them well. Never had a better scone. Don't go if you're counting calories as the portions of jam and cream to slather on your scones are rather generous. And then to put the icing sugar on the cake you have the lady that serves, what an absolute angel she is. Always welcoming, always happy and always there. The day I walk in and she isn't there with her friendly smile is the day I walk out and never return.

After a visit to the castle, just fancied a small bite and a brew. Went into the pub just by the entrance, busy, found a table, looked at the prices and thought, no chance. Walked along the high street, lots of busy and/or closed venues and came across this place with a couple of free tables outside. One cream tea, an Eccles cake and a coffee ordered. 2 scones, plenty of cream and jam for £8, coffee at £3 and the cake for £2.50. Good quality products at a reasonable price for a tourist venue. The waitress was great, very friendly, helpful and with a smile on her face. Just what we needed after a lovely visit on a hot sunny day. Thank you

Lovely place. Unpretentious, lovely member of staff, v nice toilet facility. we stopped in Tintagel and most of the options seemed to be pub lunches with meals starting from £13.50. We had a pot of tea for two (more than two cups each), a huge chunk of cake with a generous dollop of cream and a Diet Coke. £12 the lot . Seats outside and in and would recommend as a friendly, quaint place to visit with great staff. Cash payments only.

Fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our chips from here, we have been recommended to try this place by friends after moving here a year ago, and we were thoroughly impressed. It’s a busy little place, great for the village. Wish they opened more but grateful that they do! Delicious.
