The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in East of England

Me and my partner went here and ordered the same dish. Mine was lovely, so was my wifes BUT hers was stone cold. Told the waitress, who just said "oh is it" went away, was expecting someone to come back and offer to reheat the meal, but nothing.... Went to pay, told the manager when paying tha my wifes meal was cold. "i know, ive told the chef" Right...... an example of how to get customers never to come back, no offer to reheat, no sorry, nothing. Wont be back. Shame because the food was good but some of the worse customer service i have experienced in recent times.

Lovely restaurant. First visit. Friendly and efficient staff, atmosphere and food. Felt very relaxed and we weren't hurried at all. Would definitely eat here again regularly.

Had mix donner with salad Gave me diarrhea tonight after 30mins of eating will never go back

This was our first time trying various items on the menu (ribs, wings, chicken club, etc). It was a late afternoon, on a Saturday, and we didn’t order in advance (our fault), so we had to wait about an hour for our order. It was definitely worth the wait. It was delicious!!! Don’t let the exterior of the building fool you: it was a clean, well organized establishment.

Disgusting. No customers in today and I now know why. Customer service non existent. Dirty tables. Avoid like the plague. Walk a bit further and go to Flags best beach cafe in Clacton

Food is ok, only cash though! You know why! But what a disgraceful and disrespectful . Guy guy in till , i have no idea what je thinks of himself, so much bullying attitude, rubbish behaviour. Someone should tell him when you r trying to do everything that means you are Not doing right. Probably owner, that’s the only conclusion i guess. Absolutely rubbish attitude.

Ordered on line for collection. Great service and easy collection. Meatballs were delicious. Pre done with sauce and just pop in the oven, easy no prep meal. Pork meat really tender and fresh flavour.

In the afternoon, stopped here for a toilet break & cuppa, would go back to try their yummy menu. the food looked delish :)

First-time customer and really impressed with this restaurant. Our large group was accommodated without a booking on 21 December 24. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious, with generous portions. Would definitely recommend and will be certainly be visiting again whenever we are staying in the area.

We were a party of 4 ladies visiting for the first time. The food was ok but by 8:45pm the staff were very rude by lingering around and making it obvious they wanted us to leave so they could close early ruining our evening, the website it states they close at 10pm. We won’t be returning !!

Clean!! Although a very good attempt was made to create an atmosphere, sadly, very few people were there. My appetiser of whitebait was delicious though. I will definitely come again but not on my own.

Stopped here recently for a full English breakfast, seating was outside only due to current restrictions. The breakfast was very good and the coffee was lovely. Customer toilet available inside. Would recommend to others, all very clean and friendly staff.

Everything was perfect, very good staff and the food was nice and delicious. I'm very happy, with this kiss restaurant.

Fabulous turkish food best in essex excellent grilled meats and mezze can’t fault this family run restaurant is a real gem in Southend very friendly and welcoming.
