Ordered two chicken shish all packed separate as I have bowl cancer, potion of Donna meat cooked more, (meat is cheap and was horrible) first lot came with chillie sauce all over it so we couldn’t eat it, and the chips had chillie sauce all over it… so I rung them and explained and he argued with me…. Told him again and he goes come and pick it up… I said I want the chips and Donna meat delivered I’m not coming to pick it up again…. Not having a man shout down the phone at me or argue with me. Daughter liked hers flaffal and rice

We have had a meal delivered this evening. Couldn’t fault it, delivered in 30 minutes food piping hot and tasted wonderful. Would definitely be back.

I went here as it was highly scored on Trip advisor. I had a chicken shish takeaway. The presentation in the metal tray was really good. The meal was absolutely amazing with plenty of it. I would certainly go back there when I am back in Clacton.

Ordered from here. Had bad guts the next day. Looked up the food hygiene rating. 1 star. Never again. At least it is good for losing weight.

The chicken shish was off the charts. The cuss cuss and rice combination was so flavoursome as it had absorbed the flavours of the tikka. The lamb ribs were to die for. Highly recommended. Great staff with good advice.

Has been a while since we have order from here when it first opened it was great but this time not great. rice was bland and undercooked the onion rings looked like they was cooked in old oil. The meat didn't taste great.Hopefully it just just a one off as we have had good food from here before but this time I think maybe the last time I order.

Three hours after ordering on a Saturday evening resulted in no food arriving with extremely pathetic excuses from staff. EFES has lost a good customer, worst ever experince in my 12 years in Clacton.

First time ordering a £45 family meal as we’re new to the area. Food was not great, all meat had a funny taste to it. White rice was hard and unflavoured; we wasnt given cous cous. The fries were either over cooked or had been sitting for a while. The pitabread, salad, and sauces were the best part of the meal. Overall the food had no seasoning and flavour. Ordered through uber eats and it took over an hour to arrive. Portions were also small. Maybe they aren’t used to big orders as I would love to give this place a second chance

Ordered delivery for a treat, special for 2-3, arrived very fast. However, only one lamb chop. Lots of bones with not much meat on them. Rice was fine. Couscous was very nice. Ordered side of flatbread, very good sized portion and delicious. Realistically though it was not worth £45. If I had ordered tandoori mixed grill from an Indian takeaway I could have had 4 portions for that price and there would have been a lot more meat. Don't get me wrong it was quite nice and most of it was tasty and enjoyable. But I don't think I will be buying this dish again.

Sadly tonight’s dinner was late arriving (10 minutes) and everything was cold, chips were overcooked (dark brown). Shame I always order from here & have never before now had any issues 😩

Absolutely disgusting joke of a place, the food had no taste, the kofte wasn't even cooked, the delivery was due for 18:30 didn't turn up until 19:40, called up and the turk was rude as anything demanding for me to bring it to the shop so I could prove it was tasteless and undercooked I told them I don't drive therefor I can't bring it to the shop and his response was "That is your problem, therefore I can't do anything about it" Absolutely disgusting!!!! Funny how when they first opened it was the nicest place in clacton then they made there money and now it's absolutely c*ap!!! Typical turk

Had a chicken donor and it was banging.

Large order for family birthday meal, around £80, was not up to scratch unfortunately. Not the same standards we are used too from this establishment. Doner didn't taste right, chicken was dry. Should have complained there and then but it's embarrasing when everyone has gathered and the food is sh*t. Dont let this happen again.

We were politely greeted upon arrival, shown great customer service throughout and were even given recommendations when we couldn’t decide what to choose from. Overall the business is friendly and wholesome, and the food was amazing! We travelled from Ipswich just to try this, the lamb was fresh, juicy and saucy, the rice was flavoursome and the salad was fresh and vibrant. We will definitely be coming back again 😌

First time I tried and did not disappoint great staff delicious food can’t wait to try some more of there great food.

Ordered on the app - it said 25 minutes. I ended up getting to location and then waiting a further 20 minutes. Hardly any communication to let me know it was delayed and no sorry for the wait. Last time I order from here sadly.

Just had one of the best meals so far this year. Great food at a great price. Quality is excellent, my wife and I would highly recommend you try. Thank you Efes keep up the good work. See you soon.

10 out of 10..food was top quality and delivery on time,working away from home and being here 3 weeks so had alot of takeouts,glad i found here,this place is 100% best around.

Doner kebab is very fatty and not very nice

Really disappointed. Spent £6.50 on a burger, no salad or sauce was provided, the bun was soggy and the burger was dry. Felt like I was eating a microwave Rustlers burger from Tesco. A shame more effort wasn’t put in like some of their other dishes.

I have waited 1hour and 50 minutes for one meal that still is waiting to be delivered.. i rang the restaurant to see where there food is as they told me it would be delivered in 60 minutes when I placed the order. When I rang up too ask is the food being delivered they told me it normally takes 90 minutes after being rude to me on the phone they have NO customer service

Best Turkish period! I travelled whole of Cyprus looking for food like efes or better and nothing came near.. If u want to treat yourself money well spent here.. Always recommend.. Real food, I have been waited for so long for this real food . Every bite I have eaten it’s so much flavour. It’s feels taste of turkey without travelling to turkey. Worth it to visit your place Ayden & the team . Definitely visit you again.

I gave a low rating on atmosphere as I found this place to be unsuitably small for dining. The fact that the delivery driver was coming in and out constantly didnt help with the heat. I also gave the service a low rating due to the fact there was no real designated waiter to serve our table. We were served by two men, one from the front desk and another who came out from the kitchen. They were friendly and accommodating though. It is situated in a rather built up urban area so I struggled to find somewhere to park. Ended up parking a few streets away. The extra charge for dining in is not worth it, better to order a takeout as the food was fresh, and delicious!

This has to be my favourite restaurant in Clacton-on-Sea, the food staff and atmosphere are fantastic try it once and you will be back time and time again. I'm lucky as I only live 2 minutes wall from Efes but delivery is still quick all around clacton.

Ordered a mixed meat kebab with spicy sauce. Delivery early which was great. The mixed meat kebab consisted of 2 small pieces of what tasted like chicken. No other meat at all The rest was made up with salad and mayonnaise - was so disappointed. Chips were tasty.

WOW!!!! So tonight we ordered the Efes special for £40 oh my days it was outstanding!!!! Have never experienced flavours like this other than on holiday. Excellent service great value and way too much food for a couple. Thank you so much and will definitely see you again soon

literally keep it as is with the Crunchy cheesy wrap, it's the best thing I've EVER had, it is takeaway as it's finest. Clacton has never been so blessed with a takeaway, if this place is EVER to disappear it is at fault of Clactonite's not knowing what is truly good. It is genuinely so good it shouldn't exist here.

This restaurant was the best in the area, sadly to say it’s now going downhill. Every time I order food, the portions get smaller and smaller. The kebabs use to come with grilled veg on top, but sadly they’ve disappeared.

My boyfriend and I had food from here this evening. Wow it was delicious. We’ve had a kebab from clacton in the past and it was poor. No decent salad, just the cheap cucumber, tomato, iceberg lettuce and white onion. It was awful and we binned most of it. The food we had tonight was delicious and we were very impressed. It’s definitely our regular now. The meat was delicious and cooked perfectly. It came with Turkish bread, rice and a pot of salad. My boyfriend got chips with his. If you like good quality food, this is the place for you.

Had my second delivery yesterday…. First was the special for 2/3 people…. Gorgeous. Yesterday was the larger special for 3/4 people. All the food was absolutely delicious, arrived quickly, was piping hot and well packaged. Large portions. Slight hiccup as rice and couscous was missing, gave a call and it was delivered within 5 minutes. Cannot rate Effies high enough. Thank you…. As Arnie said ‘I will be back’❤️
