The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Ordered a very large order recently, couldn’t find a positive thing to say about the food, far below average, chicken wings come wrong flavour as well as looking anaemic, with a dribble of sauce, burger patty was too thick, dry and awful tasting, brioche bun was soaking wet, unable to use bottom half, chips presented awful, bang average with a sprinkle of sauce and bacon, burnt ends, dry, over cooked, best thing about this order was throwing 3 quarters of it in the bin, will not ever be ordering again, can see why the restaurant is always empty, not to mention the steamed up windows, and very unclean looking chef

Nos recibieron con una cálida bienvenida y nos sentamos en una mesa de nuestra elección. Pedimos nuestra comida, y no pasó mucho tiempo para que nos sirvieran. El personal era muy atento, comprobando que estábamos satisfechos. En general, esta visita fue una buena experiencia. Sin duda volvería a visitar esta sucursal de nuevo.

Wonderful venue the Wedding reception was Brilliant the head barman and the waitress looked after us all day to make our day so memorial The Cider flowed long into the night happy days.

Myself and my husband Visited this restaurant last night.ordered our starters which came quickly.They was nice but nothing special.Then proceeded to order mains.I went for the lamb curry and husband some sort of mixed grill.I had 1 large mouthful of my curry and instantly knew there was cheese in it which I’m allergic too.Husband checked the menu again to double check and there was no cheese listed.He approached the waiter and asked was there cheese in the curry to which he replied yes.Husband told him I was allergic and he said well nobody else has complained before.At this point I started to become rather unwell so husband paid.They took my meal off the bill but left his on even though we had to leave quickly.We had a 5 min walk back to the hotel which was awful.I was vomiting.Heart palpitations,really dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out at any point.luckily enough I had medication with me at the hotel and lay down for a good while until I recovered.Resturant need to clearly state what ingredients are in dishes and also ask about any allergies.I wasn’t asked and also didn’t feel the need to tell them as I hadnt ordered anything I shouldn’t.ALERGIES CAN KILLTHIS RESTAURANT WAS SHOCKING WHAT THEY DONE TO ME AND THERE AWFUL RESPONSE

Just eaten at this place and wanna say I've had one of the most oiled shawarma ever. And on top of that, the shawarma they present in the menu, has nothing to do with the shawarma you'll get at the table.

Friendly bar staff very welcoming,good menu choice,great offers. Definitely would go back.,just next to hotel. Shame the Hotel Crown doesn't have the standards.

Ruby, Glenn and Josh had outstanding service, we were a big group of 10 and they couldn't of been more attentive and made sure our order was completely correct before we set off in the cold wet weather to our caravan to enjoy our feast. They laughed at our rubbish jokes and engaged with the small humans in the group who enjoyed ordering confidently with them. Highly recommend will be back

I order food an hour and bit later I decided to call restaurant to see where my phone is the guy was really rude and Sadie said it’s going to be another 20 minutes before a driver would come and collect food from restaurant before I could even say anything hung up on me

Genuinely the worst place I’ve ever eaten. Firstly it’s on tastecard but isn’t, staff are very rude and food is awful. Atmosphere shocking. Do not waste your time!!!

Visitó Pitmaster BBQ & Smokehouse en un viernes por la noche con la familia mientras estaba en Manchester para un evento. La comida era fresca, sabrosa, y una gran relación calidad-precio. El servicio era atento y amable, y el lugar no estaba demasiado ocupado, por lo que hizo que la experiencia gastronómica fuera relajada. Un montón de espacio disponible. Sin duda volvería en nuestra próxima visita a Manchester!

Food was not worth the wait chips tasted like cardboard and the mild chicken wings blew my mouth off. An hour and 10 mins I could've cooked a chicken myself ... overpriced 🗑 garbage

Sorry to write this review, as it was a nice place to visit till few months back or i would say when it started. We ordered a meal for a family of four. A meal deal Bucket + Burger + Chicken strips. I was warned that it will take 15 mins - which was fine. But After 5 mins half of the meal was served and the rest took around 30 mins as the priority for the reception guy was online orders - once I complaint on the service - he got unhappy, which was clear from his attitude, Normally you get ketchup etc free if you are eating in but he charged us, i asked him that normally these comes with meal so he says take it free. But I paid for it as it seem odd as why he was behaving like this and i dont want to eat anything with out paying. The environment he created was not worth sitting there so we took our meal and left. later realizing he didnt even put everything in the meal deal ( No Coleslaw or beans), cause he was angry. we were stuck as we have already paid. Not everything on Menu was also available - like Peri Peri chicken etc. Not a good experience at all.

Comida fría, el kebab es de una compañía congelada barata (no recién hecho) chuletas no tiene carne en ella, el personal es grosero si te quejas, también podría tirar su dinero en el contenedor en lugar de gastarlo en este lugar.

Sólo he comido aquí por primera vez, nos llevó mi hija para comer, ya que ella se quejaba de tener que comer sopa enlatada tomate en ella almuerzo (ella es demasiado hueso ocioso para hacer cualquier cosa y demasiado estrecho para comprar cualquier otra cosa!) dispuso un pollo ensalada Caesar y dijo que era la mejor ensalada ella había comido. Me pedí un sandwich de carne y era cocinado a la perfección. Como yo pagaba mi hija fue rápido de volver al mostrador para seleccionar un flan y ordenados pila de panqueques con awsomeness, que es exactamente lo que eran. La porción tamaño era enorme y Subimos a comer todo entre nosotros, pero nos las arreglamos. El currito detrás del mostrador era objeto de consuelo. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomiendo probar este
