Charcoal grill in Northampton

Just eaten at this place and wanna say I've had one of the most oiled shawarma ever. And on top of that, the shawarma they present in the menu, has nothing to do with the shawarma you'll get at the table.

Amazing food and great value for money. Would not order from anywhere else the best takeaway in town

It was our first visit to this restaurant. It looked attractive on the outside and the menu sounded tasty and varied. Don't be fooled by appearances though! We ordered lamb kebabs with rice and chips. The rice, chips and pickled salad were ok, nothing special but the lamb kebabs were disappointing. They were tough, dry and over seasoned. Had this been a restaurant I would definitely sent them back. As we had been out all day and were hungry it wasn't possible. I didn't finish my portion. We were so looking forward to our food but were badly let down. Make sure you read the trip advisor reviews. There's a reason there are so many poor and terrible ones posted. I wish I had read them beforehand. Sadly, too late for us.

Had dinner on the 25th Nov delivered, it was fabulous, just re-opened and its even better than before, had mixed grills and everything was perfect, good portions, piping hot food, delicious flavours and the Kabsa rice is to die for, we also tried the Livers which was lovely....this place is brilliant 5 out of 5 from me.

we paid £22 for 7 tinys bits of lamb which were extremely chewy and dry!! the chips were cold and items were missing from the order!! I would never order from here again. i feel that it was such a waste of money and wouldnt want anyone else to make that mistake

Had a delivery from Charcoal Grill tonight, a bit apprehensive as never had food from here before but... OMG it was sensational, absolutely amazing food. We had the royal mix grill and the grilled chicken with all the extras and it arrived hot too. Thank you to Charcoal Grill please keep your very high standards high, just wonderful.x

Given the lock down, we had the family platter as a takeaway. Sadly the portion was not great again. Mountain of rice enough to feed several people but only four tiny pieces of overdone lamb shish and five very thinly sliced overcooked lamb chops. The rice was however very tasty so was the chicken shawarma. Chicken shish was tender but the tastiest were the chicken wings which were crispy and well marinated. Think twice’s enough for us not to return to Charcoal Grill again.

Since discovering this resturant (via facebook), we've been back several times. It's now our favourite go-to take-away. Exceptional food for the price, generous portions and a very friendly owner. The chicken wraps are a favourite treat for my other half and the mixed grill is a great mix of flavours for myself. We will be returning again and again. Highly recommended, escepcially for their Chicken, fries, rice and sauces.

Food was excellent, plenty of it. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, definitely will be going again. We had the sharer for two people.

This restaurant is my favourite as the food here is exquisite with its diverse flavour and its dishes. I came here once 3 months ago and the food was okay but I came again with under new management and th food now is outstanding with a totally new atmosphere and a nice environment to eat in . The new staff are brilliant and are very professional. I will be surely bringing all my friends

We’ve been there this month . The food was amazing !! To be honest the best rice I’ve ever had . What’s worth to mention is the staff is very friendly, and there are reasonable prices :)

Visiting friends in Northampton and have dinner in this awesome restaurant absolutely delicious grill food amazing size of platers great collection of meat served with taste rice chips and fresh salad very clean hygiene fantastic presentation love the falafel and hummus as starter fishing in fresh mint Arabic tea

very disappointed with the meal, spent £50 for take away and was less than average, tasted petrol ( used to ignite charcoal, rice hard and tasteless, all the meat no seasoning .....really poor, not authentic Lebanese cuisine, unless you are have not got a clue c...mooon......1 to 10 ...... is a 2

Food was very good , very natural ,not your usual MSG /processed stuff .pricey but the food was clean and well presented . Staff could be a bit more engaging and forthcoming . But overall we really enjoyed the food .

Maybe we got there too early..at half twelve and the lad who served us did not appear to be very experienced. The family starter platter at £9.50 was enough for two, never mind a family? Lamb shish was burnt on the outside and rather tough....

Small venue that has take away and eat in options. There are several reasonable sized booths. Like all similar places the food is cooked fresh on order. In contrast, however, there is a rice option with the mains and the portion is quite generous. Tried...
