Wonderful venue the Wedding reception was Brilliant the head barman and the waitress looked after us all day to make our day so memorial The Cider flowed long into the night happy days.

Home made curry with Home made Garlic bred warmed me up on a cold autumn night. Washed down with a pint of Devonshire cider

Brilliant afternoon with all my mates Laughter and fun all afternoon Great atmosphere and the drinks flowed long into the night Will definitely be back .

Took the wifey (Mel) in for a Thursday night session Great atmosphere and a fun landlady behind the bar music blaring out Punk Rock tunes A must vist

When down on the Friday evening with my partner for a drink. Been told by mates the pub has a big transformation, after 7pm the music started was so loud like a teenage club, it was impossible to hold a conversation.

Fun night and Good night at the Green Gables The landlady made me feel so welcome and in a safe environment the Guinness was Good and I even had a dance would highly recommend.

Thank You Kirsty and Maria! In a world where a “proper” pub is almost as elusive as Unicorn poop, the all new, Green Gables is a real, rare gem! My husband and I paid a random visit after a long shift on Sunday and we had the best night! We received one of the warmest welcomes we’ve had in a pub in a very long time, locals were friendly and chatty, drinks were reasonably priced and served with big smiles, we laughed, we danced, we arm wrestled and left with the biggest smiles on our faces. Can’t wait to go back and give the food menu a try one day next week, and we will definitely be back again for drinks after long shifts. 😊

Took the Children in to see the refurbished and swanky new Gables Won’t be back again far too Expensive and Grumpy Landlady Place looks nice and the nippers enjoyed the Pool but sadly only could afford one game as like everything else prices have doubled Will have to lower prices or will soon be student flats.

Two steaks and a free bottle of wine Had an amazing time at the Green celebrating our anniversary Steaks were done to perfection looking forward to this becoming our local having recently moved to Exeter from Cornwall One minor criticism my husband ordered a cream scone for desert and they put the cream on before the jam.

Feeling a bit low as recently lost our family pet So my fiancée James took me out for a Meal at the Green Gables wine bar. Home made pork curry 🍛 which melted in the mouth followed by banana and custard washed down with a pint of Devonshire cider Perfect evening

Stopped at the Green Gables as was on my way to my sisters wedding in Cornwall only stayed one night but it was cosy and very inexpensive Which being on a budget was very handy The Bar Manager even Gave me a real Devonshire cream tea Which was delicious.

Had a lush Romantic meal with my Man Monday was Chinese night and Bob cooks one of the best Chinese Food for miles My man Mark cleared his plate and even had a pudding bananas and custard with Devonshire clotted cream Lovely community pub with Good home cooking in a friendly safe cosy atmosphere.

Proper old school Pie Mash and Jellied Eels In a Green liqueur best jellied Eels in Devon Locally sourced from the River Exeter and Rivers Culm and Clyst delivered straight to my house in St Thomas Only place I know that does a proper Cockney Dinner Having Grown up IN Vauxhall in London With Bombs raining down on us this was always a comfort food as my uncle Ted used to catch the eels in one of the tributary Rivers that drained in to the Thames Reminds me so much of my boyhood growing up in London and being evacuated to Woking The meal tonight was first class thank you Bob for making an old man happy again thinking father old times With my sister Dolly and Ermatrude the donkey Hopefully we will be back in the pub again soon Take care everybody and God Bless

I Think the gables needs modernisation as it seems a bit dated the drink is good and cheap and it is a down to earth sort of pub that gives you a warm welcome but it needs some new furniture and some new curtains.
