I came with my family for Christmas dinner. We had our table, and did not feel rushed to leave after we had eaten. The food was really lovely, and the menu had a good choice. The room was beautifully decorated, and all of the staff who were working were amazing 😊 We also appreciated our glass of fizz on arrival. We will definitely be back, thank you all 😊

Just got married here and the bar staff and the whole team we met were amazing. No bad words to be said. Abi is a credit to the hotel and really played a key role in our special day. Thank you again to the whole team! Will definitely be coming back more. Also, the food here is always incredible!

We ate in the bar every night we were there. The food was nice, however the portion sizes are a bit too large.

Stayed here with a Wowcher deal. The food we had, fish & chips, were lovely, drinks not cheap, staff very good, only one young lady serving food & bar, well done. Would definitely use again when in Skegness.

My sister and I decided to try out the new Lite Bites menu at the Crown hotel that we had seen advertised on Facebook recently. We both thought that the menu offered a good variety, and had to spend some time considering what we wanted, due to the range of choices that were available. I ordered the soup of the moment and a sandwich (tuna sandwich and mushroom soup) and we shared some cheesy chips. There was a deal available offering two meals for £8 which was fab. The food was yummy, and well portioned, and we will definitely be coming back again for lunch! The changes that have been taking place at the crown recently (better range of drinks, menu changes etc) have definitely been an improvement that we hope will be continued into the future.

Had a few drinks there last night, Served by a very helpful man called Matthew who seemed to be looking after everyone and who hard an excellent way with the customers but also amazed me is how he pulled the best pint of Guinness iv seen or tasted in a long time. I would have given it a 5 if the please hadn't been in need of a bit of decorating.

I cannot fault the food here. It is well cooked and plenty of it. I would recommend eating here to anyone. The prices are also very reasonable.

Decided to have a change of venue to have a meal out, the food was very hot and morish as its suposed to be and a nice beer too, unlike some places we have visited. We will defiantly come here again.

The Crown is a large hotel and being just under 1 mile from the seafront, ideal for a quiet drink and some R & R. There is ample parking and disabled access.

Lovely two night stay weather perfect lovely bar and nice beer garden nice cold lager very quiet at night bit warm .still would like some privacy from ajouring rooms like blinds to close felt very exposed that way .but staff were helpfully nothing too much trouble for anything we asked for .times the walk to tower cafe it's 20 to 25 mins walk no bus service down to crown so need a car but we walked as young enough taxi is £3.60 from clock tower if needed to crown and about 4.80 from crown to train station .would recommend tower cafe near clock tower were cinema is for lovely cuppa while out and if want to leave luggage at the crown they will have it all day after check in or check out bar is great meals look good and a nice beer garden

we went here in the off season so was tad quieter than normal and full of mostly locals around the bar the food was fresh and on point for what it was however service was uncomfortable as the entire time we were there the locals and nar staff did pretty much nothing but stare at us so we ate fast and left sadly wont be returning in the off season

We stayed at the crown during our stay in Skegness. We had walked around all day so decided to have our evening meal in the bar. We both had a burger, they were home made, perfectly cooked and delicious. We both throughly enjoyed it.

We arrived at The Crown at 1.30 for lunch, there was ample parking, I wonder why? The entrance looked quite shabby, chipped paint, partially covered the rotten wooden doors.

My family and I ordered a just eat take-out this evening from The Spice Lounge. Delivery was slightly delayed as we live a bit of a distance away but the food arrived piping hot and oh my days was absolutely delicious. Best curry that we have eaten in a long time and well worth the money. Very highly recommended. Thank you so much 😊 Nicky, Gary and Tom

We went specifically to this venue for breakfast. We ordered different breakfasts and made some changes to one of them with the helpful counter staff. The tea in the tea pot was cold and we took it back for a replacement hot tea pot. The breakfast was brought to us by a member of staff who did not smile or speak. Having ordered extra well done bacon we were surprised to note that it certainly hadn't been even well done. The plates were cold and so was half of the breakfast, the rest of it cooling rapidly. The toast and prepacked butter were placed on the top of the breakfast and we had to use our fingers to try and get them off the top, even though there was nowhere to put them (have they never heard of side plates)? All in all, very poor. Customer care is clearly not a priority.

Good food, especially sunday carvery lunch, friendly staff, nice covered garden area, or inside restautant, occasional music events. Good value.

Greeted with silence by a face that looked like it wanted us to go away. Food was hands down the worst meal that I remember eating. I had the mixed starter, the Won tons were just pastry with no filling, the rest of the food was dry and felt like it had been sitting under lights for hours. My partner had duck chow mein and was instantly sick. She said it tastes like they ran out of soy sauce so used bisto granules instead. The server smiled at us as we were leaving but later we realised that she was smiling because she had just handed us a bag of leftovers in exchange for £20. Seaweed was passable though.
