Great value down to earth pub. Shuts at about 7.30pm so be prepared for that

Went from Butlins 80s weekend for a walk. Excellent atmosphere. Butlins is missing a treat not doing the same thing on a Saturday afternoon. Excellent singer too. Will be back. Didn't have food this time but recommend the carvery on Sunday.

Visited last Friday waited for over 5 mins to be served no staff and hardly any customers The menu wasn't a full menu either do we left and went to the lookout next door excellent service and food Sorry will not use beachcomber again

We biked from the holiday site and decided to take a bike ride along the beach path. We saw a pub and decided to stop and have a drink. The staff were brilliant and understanding about our deaf and sign language, so there was no problem with communication. The price for a pint was good. We will definitely come back in the near future.

Really good place to visit, spend the day at the beach, plenty of food options, live music, fast food and dessert wagon just out the front of the pub, staff very friendly and welcoming, prices on food and drink are very reasonable, toilets very clean, plenty of space inside and outside, ideal for everyone.

Great entertainment, staff very friendly and went out there way to make my kids feel special when they was dancing/singing amazing holiday because of this amazing club

Music blaring, making it impossible to talk amongst ourselves. Food prices have gone up, poor choices. My lasagne was gloopy because it'd been microwaved. Couldn't eat it. My husband had the chicken tikka, very small portion, child size. We won't be going back

A great pub. A bit loud for me. Some of the karaoke singers provided some amusement!

First time here eating, was not disappointed, had a ½ rack rib sharing box, was gorgeous, quick service for drinks and food order the only complaint is the music is just a bit loud, just need turning down slightly, and drinks and food is to different queues, ladies toilets are clean and lovely surprise on doors in there, but they do need reviving, all in all wonderful night and will be going again.

Good entertainment will have to try food next time

Been before generally like it but for me today was wrong. Singer is very good, staff are lovely but the noise was too much for me. I chose an England football match so it's my fault! Will be there again on a footy free day!

If you want cocktails this is the place for you, great prices and very generous on the alcohol, had a cracking night good entertainment the whole time we was there.

Sunday carvery was ok the mash was very lumpy and the roasts was hard and the gravy was bland l.Turkey and beef was nice and the Yorkshire was lovely such a shame about the potatoes

Burnt burger, under cooked chicken burger, mashed potato sloppy cheap sausages this was after a 60 minute wait and had to ask twice were our food was, very disappointing,

Me and my partner decided to have the curry and it was a big mistake. It was £15 each. The rice was sloppy (not sure how you can make it that way) and I wish I had complained at the time but we didn’t. Repeated on me all evening and the toilet session next day wasn’t good either. I have been here for meals before and usually had a good experience so maybe just avoid the curry!

Bloody love this place . If your at Butlins it I'd definitely worth the 5 min walk along the coast walk .. always a great atmosphere .... xx

Caught this place on a summer's day with good music playing in the outside area. The atmosphere was great and everyone had a good time

Arrived after a night in town the very next morning, music was fab, bar staff very friendly and organised, had a beautiful carvery only downside was the irregular size of the plates, some had big plates and others had a standard size, still a good price for tenner. Definitely recommend for a Sunday dinner and bill DJ 😋

Great place been going there since I was a kid. Only down side is the volume of the day time live music. Everyone was saying the same. I had sat down to my food and bang that speaker knocked my head off!!! But apart from that the staff are lovely the food is amazing. The area is great 👍

My double Malibu was watered down with too much ice, even though I said “not much ice”I started to take the ice out and the bar man gave me a rude attitude, when I told him it was too much Lemonade also he replied I “should of told him earlier”. Very rude you know who you are you looked very much like Kenny from Benidorm. We decided not to spend any more of our money in this place unfortunately.

This is by far the best restaurant at butlins . Delicious food and grate service, we tried other restaurants here some were OK some were horrible (fire house) but beach comer is good everything, breakfast, dinner, evening meal, snacks, deserts , starts, sharers, all the best selected salad, veg, . Great place 👌 👍 👏

Only was walking past as was taking dogs for a walk but was OK for a pub

It's a good pub but in summer hols it's all about the kids.

Every afternoon different entertainment and always a brilliant afternoon in the sun.

It’s expensive for where it is. £11.95 for a BBQ Chicken Wrap and £11.95 for Fish and Chips. £4 for a large Coke! For that price I should have bought a beer and got drunk. They had a live singer on which was good.

Don't like the Beachcomber. I've been in a few times for a drink, but I still don't like the place. My own personal view. It's alright for other people.

The food was expensive even with the kids discount. It wasn't the greatest quality. I also tried to order drinks another night at the bar and was ignored by 4 members of staff, until I got grumpy... finally asked if I had been served... I said no I have just been ignored and then walked out with my kids.

When asked if my food was okay, I replied that the burger is awful. The waitress then ignored the comment.

Had some lunch here while on holiday a massive wait and when the food came the bread was hard chips were luck warm

Had 3 to 4 drinks with family during event tonight. Went out to the slots came back, couldn't find party so went toilet. Female employee follows me in while I'm using urinal. Follows me out the bar with another employee shouting and swearing at me for supposedly going into the toilet to do nothing. Washing my hands minutes after and leaving. Took 5 minutes to explain that party had left during my toilet break and she kept saying she was trying to look at my genitalia but couldn't see it when she went into the toilet.

Food is good but for some reason at 4 in the afternoon with about 3 people in the pub whilst trying to enjoy our tea. The DJ turned rubbish music all the way up so we couldn't even talk to each other ridiculous he must have something wrong with him. Maybe deaf. But this is no excuse.

Been coming for over 15 years on our holidays. Really lovely food! However, the music was far too loud for so early on the day. Not suitable for toddlers / young children.

Had a lovely Sunday Carvery here, food was plentiful, hot and delicious followed by a couple of rounds of drinks. Although the drinks were on the expensive side, I was happy to pay more for the DJ, Vocalist and the ambience. We will be returning!

Although a windy day, it was great sitting outside due to the clear panels which sheltered from the elements. Lovely food as well from the burger van.

Terrible food Ordered chicken burger It was a very dry chicken breast, no seasoning whatsoever served on a very dry brioche cake.. no taste at all Nice place for a drink but I would not eat food there . Last year we ate there it was ok so not sure what as happened

Lovely carvery & the place was rocking with live 80s entertainment ! We came across it while we were on a walk out of Butlins .We were on an 80s weekender. We had to leave before 4pm to get back into butlins as they lock the gate otherwise we would have stayed alot longer !!! Would def visit again !

Busy but loads of seating, quick service and loads of drinks to choose from,also did food which we didn't have. Played good music inside and outside. Definitely visit if your at Butlins it's alot cheaper round 😊

A group of six us visted here this weekend, we were showed to our table then went to order food give them the table number which was 157 they kept saying it was wrong then they said the number was 17…. When we finally got I order warmish the said they had Ben looking for the table due it usually been outside, (the table was inside)I told the staff member that we go put here and he was very rude to us never went back i here for the weekend….staff need to learn manners. And make sure there no where there tables are😡😡

Good food,reasonably priced and friendly staff happy to engage.a good experience.

Only 3 stars as been there 3 days running,the 3rd days meal had cold/ refried chips and when complaining staff were a bit reluctant to change them, but did eventually otherwise was good

Clean place. Staff very nice and welcoming. Someone came over to make sure all was ok with our meals. Prices are fair. Food looks better than it tastes, dry meats. It's not horrendous but don't expect anything good. Wouldn't eat here again but would go for a drink.

Excellent food, friendly staff. We went for breakfast and an evening meal, no complaints.

Meals where very expensive so didn't stay. Couldn't justify the price of food, didn't even stay for a drink, looked at the prices for food on menu and walked out.
