Had a really good meals in this place.

Nice pint, good prices nice friendly staff.

Went in on a sunday to a auction starts at 5pm but dont rate it

Always go here on holiday about 3 times a year. Now if your local it's cheaper for drinks sorry custom moved to the jockey everyone equal over there

No sparkling water. So I settled for a soda water..... Disgusting and tasted like bleach, I tipped it on the floor in the garden.

Service was prompt, but hard to find a nice drink, the ale was very poor to taste, I tried 4 different ones, had a female DJ on who was drunk and very verbal with a language even with kids in the bar, it felt like a proper spittoon bar.

The atmospere is fab, great auction and many games of bingo. Food not so great sorry to say.

Free parking if you're using it, otherwise £5 Dog friendly

The breakfast are okay here on a Friday but if you play the machines and win and it doesn't pay you out all the cash the manager of the pub won't give you the money out the till that you are owed and too me it's very dodgy and would not go there again told alot of my friends about this place

Myself, Wife and a friend called for an afternoon meal. What more can I say apart from the food was delicious. Will definitely call again. Best meal we have had in Ingoldmells.

It is obvious to state that this establishment needs a little TLC, but let's not forget that this pub offers more entertainment than most throughout the year. Tonight was VG with a good happy vibe. A good auction with plenty of BARGINS. Bingo with good cash payouts over £200 quid. Food is available all night. The prices of and snap and ale are good and not a rip-off. Dogs are welcome, even my idiotic knob heads. Ultimately, this is good boozer with plenty of extras. I hope they will stay open over the winter and look after the locals. I have NOWT bad to say about this establishment. Crack on Landlord or lady.

A pub that has potential if updated as very tired looking. Staff do not scream come back although the karaoke 🎤 by Debbie Debs is brilliant.

Fantastic place, the Monday club bingo. What a great time. If you're stuck for something to do on a Monday afternoon, I can't recommend it highly enough. Friendly staff and patrons.

As a first time visitor this was a strange one. Looks like a charming traditional village pub from the front, however no sign of life as you look in through the windows. However at the rear of the building in the carpark is an entrance into a large extension, we bought drinks which were fine and cheaper than most places. Kareoke was on very loud and 12 people were in the bar which felt odd for a Sunday afternoon. More working men's club really Decor and furnishings were old and grubby and a very musty stale smell. We drank up and went over the road for a much nicer atmosphere and stayed there all night.

Just spent a good few relaxing days in The Ship at Ingoldmells. The atmosphere was great with bingo, play your cards right, open the box, sticky's 13's and the auction. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had tea in there both nights that was warm and delicious. We will return! Thank-you x

Last night, came in for tea had a delicious steak pie, chips, peas and gravy. We then played bingo, sticky 13, open the box and play your cards right. It was an absolutely great night. Thankyou to Kerry and Carl. We will be back xx

The rudest bar staff/managment in ingoldmells waiting an age to get served only bothered about there usual customers.Manager on his phone while serving that's when he could be bothered to serve .Won't be going again while they are running it useless.Visited on 11/07/2023.

Went to the Ship Inn, Ingoldmells with my family and children. The managers and staff are so friendly! The carverys during the week are phenomenal. £2.75 for a kids carvery on a Wednesday and it filled my kids up for hours! I have never seen any other pub in ingoldmells that does a kids carvery for £2.75. It's amazing! I highly recommend it.

Food was dripping in fat. Looked at carvery & flies are just sat on the meat. First & last time. Worst food we have ever had plus full off sexes people if your face doesn’t match your getting felt

Had to wait nearly a hour for food to come food was cold and not very good then half way through having dinner they hav a karaoke going off wouldn't be going back any time soon

Me and my partner decided to call in as we wanted somewhere that served fresh cooked food. We decided on the mixed grill and I must say it is the best mixed grill we have had and everything was cooked perfectly. It even had the added bonus of brown crispy homemade chips!! Definitely recommend and cheap to boot !!

Me and my family of 4 visited the ship inn on the 10/8/23. Me,my wife and my daughter sat at a 5 chair table. My mother and father in law was arriving later. As we sat down enjoying our drinks a very rude elderly person passed us and said "this is our table we normally sit here" at first we thought it was a joke but we explained our in-laws was attending shortly which she said "we don't save seats in here" then proceeded to another table ranting and raving about us and made us feel very uncomfortable. My wife is just recovering from a MS relapse and didn't need this!! Now regarding a certain member of staff. During this afternoon I always drank Carling and was always charged £3.50 a pint, a certain member of staff charged me £3.90, when I asked him why he said it was I'm not a local. This pub is literally a place that if your face doesn't fit type of place and doesn't care for tourists. I would like the manager to contact me as I never normally leave a bad review but our experience was so bad we will not return. My advice to the owners/managers is the staff should treat all customers the same and to make it clear to the "locals" that if it wasn't for tourists you probably wouldn't have a pub. The only decent thing is the auction and the bingo, if that's not your thing then definitely go elsewhere because you will not be made welcome!!!!

Go in now and again but mostly on Monday £3 a pint for everything bingo play your cards open the box.mostly our ladies have a good day out on their own but i can recommend this but get in early.

The carvery was the worst I've seen in a long time! Whomever ever thought that's acceptable to serve, needs training how to cook! Tiny frozen yorkshire, mash (tasteless, potatoes not even peeled), frozzled looking roasties, mushy veg and hardly any to pick from. The meat and gravy were OK. The young man who served us at the bar was lovely. Unfortunately the food was a waste of money, and I left quite hungry as there was nothing to go at!! Can't reccomend!

A couple of us decided to take a friend outside when bingo started as she was quite loud. As we were leaving the bingo caller said over the microphone ' Ignorant ones are going' ! After the game finished, we approached him & said it was unnecessary. His wife (we assume?) then started to shout & make personal & inflammatory remarks. Awful end to a good day. Place seems to be be locals only as tables were reserved. Go across to the Jockey instead.

Ordered 2 meals off the special menu, absolute waste. Steak and ale pie was a dry and over crusted pastry, gravy that was like cement, was way too thick. Lasagne was more cheese and pasta than anything. Soggy greasy chips, and to top it off, they think a salad is tiny cubes of tomato, onion and cucumber (3 tiny squares of all maximum) on a leaf of lettuce!

Food was cold, put veg out 11.45 meat out 12.20 and started serving at 12.25 will not go back.Supposed to start 12

Fair atmosphere, good choice of gins, limited non alcoholic beers but friendly staff and regulars.

This has was the worst meal that me and my husband have ever had we being going there for few years on off it now under new management I wish I had taken photos of my discusting meal even my drink was flat thay say the gas had gone replaced it with another flat drink if I had taken a photo I think that would of bean investigated for bad food

We are here on holiday and went on the hunt for somewhere still serving pub grub. We stumbled upon the Ship Inn and was welcomed by extremely happy, lovely staff. Very accommodating. Chef was cheerful. They serve food until 19:45, which was perfect! Food was delicious, and bingo looked very popular. We got 2 main courses and 2 alcoholic drinks for under £30. Exactly what we were looking for! Thank you for such a pleasant experience. We will be back :)

Used to be much cleaner and tidier. Food was average. Ranges of beer mostly good. Toilets like a swimming pool it's really gone down hill

Went for breakfast first time with my wife today bloody shocking advertisement said double breakfast so I paid for two sat for 50 minutes waiting patiently we’ll when it came out they sent two kids around 10 out with them it was a disgrace no sausage no mushrooms I counted 12 beans and watery tomatoes egg was so hard you could have bounced of the floor on top of that I asked manager where everything was that was missing and he simply said we have run out So we left everything as it was cold you falsely advertised something you honestly can’t provide no refund no apology and to top it all a customer asked the same at the bar and he was told to leave . As I was leaving the poor bar man just stood there taking it all in stay clear of this place under new management really you cannot tell me you have run a pub before shocking customer service still taking peoples hard earned cash knowing you had no food you should be ashamed of your self

Food was brought out on separate plates for original meal after food was missed as staff don't read menu nice venue shame about the quality of food for price avoid till managed correctly!!

A lovely pub in the village. Wonderful service from the bar staff and nice pub grub reasonably priced. Dog friendly as well.

Hard to get a seat. Frustrating that loads were empty with names on. We were lucky that the young man behind the bar did find us a table. I understand that they look after the locals but dont forget about the rest of us please. Its a great pup we all want to visit .

Visited here while staying in the area and had a meal which was nice, served and well presented. A good service overall. Music a bit loud but it was a private function but apart from that a decent place. Also a good sized car park.

We dicided to go out for Sunday Dinner so we went to the Ship Inn we ordered our dinner & sat down they had music on which wasn't too loud we got our dinners & very soon after that the lady behind the bar turned football on the TV she turned it up very loud all so she was jumping up & down in the bar wavering her hands which didn't look very good to customers a mother customer said to her why didn't you get seat tickets at the game if you like it that much she just laughed at him my husband is partly Deaf & loud sound hurt his ears so he got up & asked her to turn the sound down to which she said she would but she only turned it down a small amount we was sat right under the speaker & it was very loud so in the end we left our dinners half eaten & walked out it was a terrible experience to have. & a Totally waste of money I should have gone to the Bar & complained but I didn't see anyone else except a man walking in & out of the kitchen we won't be going in there again I can assure them of that bar staff are there to help not chace customers out Yvonne & Ray

Beer is priced reasonably food looked very nice although we didn't have any. It was a Thursday when we went which is auction night so very full staff were very friendly as well had a good night
