The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Brasserie food

We travelled from Bristol to celebrate my partner's birthday; lovely vibe but disappointing food. It was a busy Saturday night and we did not mind waiting an hour for our food. However, we were left rather underwhelmed with the duck breast dish which contained a lump of inedible gristle and was accompanied by a jacket potato which was beige inside instead of white and fluffy. This will obviously be our first and last visit to Le Monde.

The sizzler platter we ordered was disappointing. The presentation was lacking, and it was hard to identify what was supposed to be the 'sizzler' itself. The restaurant's cash-only policy was inconvenient, and they didn't have adequate change available. Be ready to walk towards a cash machine after your meal..

Place is nice, but the dude behind the counter ( who is definitely not the owner ) was just incredibly rude and made us feel like we’re bothering him by coming and ordering. Shawarma was nice, laffa was a bit small. No chips with shawarma is mad, especially when you pay 14 quid for it? Wanted a taste of home and was disappointed

We are visiting from Manchester England, We are working in Antrim and was recommended by our Air BnB host. The staff were very friendly & welcoming and professional. The food is one of the best foods I've had In a restaurant. We will more than likely visit again before our departure. Highly recommend - high five

Think the food was actually being delivered from Istanbul as well with how late it was

Lovely food, staff are pleasant, the only let down was the service, we waited a long time for our drinks which they forgot about we had to ask a few times. Mix up with our starters. The toilets are unpleasant so would avoid using them. Over priced too

Don't know the area atall and working away from home so ordered from here due to been close by and a delivery option for cash payment, only wanted 12 inch meat feast and chips, simple order really..... pizza was too thick, meat tough and tasted funny no sauce in the pizza hardly and cheese nasty .... chips not the best either and a small portion which cost me nearly £17 for the order.... half the pizza went in the bin.... Total waste off money. . a meal deal from Tesco would off been more enjoyable and tasty and that's saying something!!

The food here is consistently perfect every time I order.. The portion sizes are very generous and always filling, absolute brilliant value for money. Always delivered piping hot and fast, the staff are really lovely. There's nothing else local like this place so go ahead and give them a try 👌

order the mixed chicken and beef sizzler which came to 16 pounds. Food tasted okay but got the tiniest amount of meet. Feel like they really cheaped out and should have been a bigger portion for the cost. Salad was limp and not fresh and only had a tiny pot of salad.

Preto isn’t a bad spot by any means - the quality of the meat is generally good, and the atmosphere is clean and pleasant. That said, there are definitely areas that could be improved. The buffet section was underwhelming, with a lot of the food served cold, which took away from the overall experience. I’ve been three times now, and it’s always been quiet, so perhaps the energy picks up and the service feels more dynamic when it’s busier. Speaking of service, it was very basic. You’re seated, your order is taken, and that’s pretty much the last you see of the staff until the end. The chefs bringing the meat around also keep interaction to a minimum. functional, but not exactly welcoming. It’s a nice enough place, but I’ve since found somewhere I prefer (Fogo de Chão in Soho), so I likely wouldn’t return. If you’re in the area and craving a rodizio, it’s okay, just don’t expect anything particularly memorable.

Caipirinha is good food with an Indian flavor, ordering a feijoada was horrible and I put it in my mouth… Brazilian feijoada is nothing like it…

Avoid… Really poor value for money. Stingy establishment. Inattentive and unwelcoming staff. Quite stingy with the chips,Drinks pricey and not bottomless and flat with loads of ice.Avoid the chicken grill as it didnt taste very nice. More like a chicken from a small chicken shop.

Have been multiple times here for business lunch or dinners. Great location, fantastic views, good modern menu and has been through some recent refurbishment as well. Only one gripe would be that on last occasion, found the staff ‘too’ attentive - far too many interruptions that could have certainly been avoided or reduced. Guess it’s hard to land a balance between trying to deliver a great service and perhaps over doing it in the process. Won’t put me off visiting again though.

Went here prior to watching a show at Brighton center. Was in a rush so this was ideal. When we first arrived was told no burgers as not breast of chicken was available. Slightly annoying. Ordered a half chicken instead, by the time I sat down it was there. It was dry, cold and clearly been pre cooked earlier in the day. It wasnt tasty at all. It has hardly any chicken on it. Anyways I also ordered hummus with extra pitta. The hummus came out with 2 pitts, which I thought included the extra, but no it didn't. Finished the hummus and 5 minutes later a single pitta comes out... I sent it back as we already ate our hummus and was meant to come together. All a bit of a mess really. Won't be back

We visit this establishment quite often since years, they used to be very good at service and food. Lately the service has been mediocre. Since this January out eat-in experience have been very disappointing in this specific establishment starting with missing orders, burnt chicken, long waiting times 45-50 min, being served later than even people seated 15-20 min later than us. The food quantity and quantity has gone downhill recently. VERY DISAPPOINTED that one of our favourite restaurant have downgraded their service quality !!!!
