Nando's - Brighton in Brighton and Hove

First ever visit to a Nandos. Not really a fan of spicey food -but was mildly surprised I actually enjoyed the dish I had as there are levels of 'spicey' u can have with most dishes. Pleasant waitress made the visit with the rest of my family of 5 a decent experience.

Waiters were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. Will defo be visiting again

Nando's is always a useful place. You know what's going on, you know that the shopping is accessible to almost all lovers and you know that you won't have to wait long because they manage to deliver all the things on the menu to the table within about 15 minutes. Therefore the wait will never be excessive and this is very useful for those who take a quick break

Overpriced no idea why there are so many waiters as you have to pay for the food on ordering af the till! Small portions and far too much lime in some of the sauses! It is the first and the last time I will be wasting my money!

Great place to eat with family! There were 7 of us with 2 children.. A caring staff and excellent food… With the cold outside, the spices warmed us up nicely!!

Great food at a reasonable price

On arrival at Nando’s on Sunday evening the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were told on ordering that that have run out of corn, and the only ones they had were burnt. When the food arrived it was all good apart from the corn which surprisingly wasn’t to burnt, but was old stale and inedible. After the meal I went to use the toilet, which were disgusting (see pictures) blocked toilet broken door lock and panel door hanging off. I went and told one of the male members of staff but he just shrugged his shoulders and said sorry. We were going to order my favourite Chocolate fudge cake but due the current circumstanced I needed to leave to find a toilet.

The food and service was good, I found the seating a little cramped near the front of the restaurant where I was seated.

Delicious food and great service. Clean restrooms. Food taste better here than some other Nandos.

Great location, quite close to the Leonard hotel where I was staying the atmosphere was great food was good would recommend anyone to go and have a meal there.

Not quiet but not intrusive, friendly staff, tasty chicken. Easy to get right you say - maybe so - but also easy to get wrong - and they rarely do.

What a wonderful experience, we were served by the gracious and informed Sophie who with what seemed like bottomless knowledge of the menu guided me to picking the sunset burger which was simply a delight. She was attentive and glided around the floor delivering food exceptionally efficiently, the rest of the team were on the ball too. It was an all around fantastic dining experience and one not to miss out on. 10/10

Have Nandos at home all the time so was expecting it to be good but I must say this Nando’s is so much better! Maybe because it wasn’t as busy as my local Nandos but the food came out piping hot and my butterfly chicken was very juicy. Obviously no time under the hot lamp at all! The staff were friendly and accommodating, no complaints at all! Thank you for a lovely lunch :)

The place is quite dirty. Looks run down in there. Walls need fixing and a lick of paint. Boxes and stuff are lying down by the loos like someone's store room. All the staff were hanging around the front desk like it was a hangout and were all quite loud. Just didn't seems like a professional restaurant. The staff were good and friendly but just odd, more like a bar vibe with the staff.

The staff were exceptional, both myself and the friend I was with are disabled, and the staff went out of their way to help us. The food was absolutely delicious and their new pudding is incredible!

The food was nice. We arrived around an hour before closing and the whole time we were having our meal we felt as though the staff just wanted to get rid of us so they could begin closing. We were asked multiple times if we wanted takeaway boxes even though we were clearly still eating and felt like we were constantly being watched and glared at by the staff members we which made for an uncomfortable dining experience.

The food was alright, pretty good actually. I love the loaded fries. However, the service was abysmal and made me not want to ever go again! We arrived at 9pm, an hour before closing. We got our food and by around 9;30pm, the staff would not stop glaring at us. They would constantly come up and ask if we are done, or if they could get us a takeaway box even though I was nowhere near finished. It got to the point where two of them just stood and stared at us while we eat, making it clear they wanted us to leave. This made me uncomfortable and feel so unwelcome despite the restaurant having 30 minutes until they close. Can you get your staff to fix up, not my fault they hate their jobs, I just wanna eat my food in peace.

It was pretty good, not amazing but definitely not terrible.

Love a Nandos generally, but the staff here were really helpful with my food allergy and I felt very secure eating here.

As an American tourist, I had a rather interesting experience at Nando's in Brighton. Upon arrival, they requested my phone number to take a reservation, even though the place was fairly empty. It was a bit peculiar, but within five minutes, they texted me, indicating a table was ready. Maybe they were just overly organized! Now, let's talk about the food - it was absolutely fantastic! The Peri Peri chicken was a real treat, and the flavors were like a party in my mouth. I even had the convenience of ordering via my phone and having it delivered to my table, which was a pleasant surprise. What amazed me further was the availability of unlimited soft drinks, which was a real bonus for a thirsty traveler. And then, to top it off, there was unlimited frozen yogurt! It felt like a culinary paradise. The staff was remarkably friendly, making the experience even better. They were more accommodating than an overstuffed burrito, and I felt right at home. Overall, it was a quirky yet delightful Nando's experience, spicing up my visit to Brighton.

The music is annoying and the staff are iver worked, they seem tired and not paid enough. As a customer for over 19 years the ataff are not happy about their work.

This is the smallest nandos I've ever been in so that was different as I didn't know you got small ones. Very busy but served quickly.

Got collection and the service was great but when I was eating my wrap, I found a long black hair in my food so immediately stopped eating it. Very gross

A hungry family of four walked in for lunch, they had a number of tables available. 30 min later we asked where our meal was, we were told because we ordered livers it was taking longer than usual. We received our food after 40 min and everything was cold to slightly warm including the livers. My wife commented to staff member who brought the food to our table it was cold. No comment from him. This was the worst nando restaurant we have visited. Such a contrast when you compare to the one we visited in Ashford outlet. The food and service we received there was outstanding.

Good meal. The peri peri chicken is the best dish on the menu, and was excellent.

Delicious food. Would have given 5 but due to staff being too busy having a laugh with each other the chef had to bring our side out which isn't fair as its not her job. Also the music was far too loud causing people to shout over each other which was uncomfortable.

Overall enjoyable, as expected from a Nando's with the typical vibe and feel associated to it.

We really enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals arrived in good time. The garlic bread was a bit over cooked but not enough to complain about and my side salad was dull, lettuce, cucumber, tomato but no dressing. That was poor value I think. Otherwise a good visit,,, thank you

Me and my partner came in and ordered at the same time, we ordered separately but his came and then there was a half an hour wait for mine. They did apologise for slow service but then a guy across the table came in after us and got his before mine. I understand it is busy but they literally had like 20 plates under the light at the kitchen waiting to go out 30+ minutes. It’s just not very nice when you come out for a meal with your partner and he ends up finishing his before your meal comes. Seemed a bit unorganised!

me and my friends went a couple weeks back for dinner, one of my friends was wearing one of those tops you tie up at the back which literally covered her chest (not that it matters), anyway one of the waiters came over and asked her to put her jumper on, we all looked at each other and ignored him because we were just so confused because it was 30 degree weather. We then got our food and noticed that one of the other waiters was walking past and giving us death stares and staring my friend up and down about 7 or 8 times and talking to the other waiters, we finally asked her what the problem was and she just made up some excuse about looking at table numbers. Long story short we were just trying to enjoy our food but felt like we were in some secondary school canteen being stared at by the mean girls. Defo not going back. Also overhead her name was Sophie but could be wrong lol

Lovely eatery, good and tasty meals. You order via an app or at the bar. Staff did not look the most friendly you can get, however, they were OK. The location is great, in the heart of The Lanes on a busy street ideal for people-watching. We paid about 31 pounds for two meals each including 2 sides plus a botomless coke. Quite fair for the UK, I guess. Corn on the cob was especially delicious.

Seated downstairs, drinks machine fault flat tasteless coke had to go upstairs for drink each time, food was slow for a Nandos an from years ago very expensive so not the best

We highly recommend this location under the leadership of Hakeem. He handled a slight misunderstanding with our order with due care and professionalism. Our food was delivered to perfection and the jovial atmosphere between the staff made for an enjoyable experience for us as guests. Well done team! We’ll be back.

Staff have always been friendly and efficient. Tables are cleaned and ready. Can get very busy on weekends so may be a wait of up to 20 or 30mins depending on footfall.

The famous chain by Einthoven's family, same as everywhere but shen we were there kitchen was limited due to technical issues... choices was limited. Chicken imported from Australia, fries not super fresh, not super clean table.

Great food at a great price, 4 stars instead of 5 as I had to wait 20 minutes after my friends food came till I got mine even though we ordered the same thing and only after I asked a waiter to find out what was happening.

Plates smelled and service was poor, overall bad hygiene

I was hoping to try the chicken liver but it wasn’t available so i got the boneless thighs instead. Extra hot isn’t hot enough tbh so I added more extra extra hot sauce, chicken was a bit dry but acceptable, I liked the broccoli tho. Tried the garlic bread before so i ordered the spicy rice this time and it’s nice to have with the chicken.

Be careful when ordering through Deliveroo etc. from this branch. Our food arrived cold. The pitta was missing the coleslaw, but did have very brown slimy lettuce leaves that I scraped off and put fresh salad I already had in it instead. The portions were particularly small also. But the pitta really was something else! Truly grim. Just a lot of mayonnaise, brown leaves and bits of dry chicken. If you were in the restaurant, I don’t think it would’ve been served like that, and if it had then definitely would’ve been sent back. Unfortunately Deliveroo didn’t resolve the problem. I’d recommend ordering from the Hove one in future if you can.

I am a Nando's loyalty customer. The food never seem to disappoint. Really cheap and quality never fails. Nando's is one of my favorite restaurants in Brighton

Staff are helpful, efficient and friendly!

Staff were very accommodating as I was visiting with a pretty large pushchair. I used the app to order and order a wrong item, this was rectified with no hesitation.

I love Nandos by nature, but these guys in Brighton were absolutely awesome, greeted, and seated immediately, we were told if we are paying by card to scan the QR Code on the table where you will be taken to the menu, you order and your food is delivered to the table number you are at, you will see it on your table The food, was in my opinion great, the chips for my partner were incorrect however, small mistake, the guys quickly gave us our requested chips without hesitation and served us with a smile, we had bottomless drinks aswell, wow great experience I highly recommend the nandos in Brighton, we were even greeted and thanked on our way our, you guys rock ❤️

Service was great, had to wait a little while for the table but the staff kept in touch while we waited. Food was good, spiced chicken and reasonably priced too.

Nando's never disappoints. This branch was no exception. Their staff were friendly and helpful. The food came pretty quickly and was tasty as usual. Their staff were on top of making sure the tables were cleared and cleaned timeously. Vibey music too which wasn't too loud either. Great experience overall. Will be back if I'm ever back in Brighton.

Absolute terrible experience ..3 times had to send our food back as Stone cold..saw our food ready to be brought out 15 minutes later still there..said chios were cold as was the cob...took plate back gave me new chips cob still cold..went to eat chicken Stone cold..not just our food sent back 2 other tables.could understand if the restaurant was busy but pretty quiet.if the young lady cooking spent less time on her phone and concentrated on her job maybe less food would of been sent back.After sending it back on the 3rd time we requested a refund which was not queried at all.

Sent back chicken 3 times, came back dry twice and once the wrong spice.

sad after 6 years of enjoying the food the rest room me need a lot to desire no lock on the door and no light in the toilet sad state of affairs the lock has not been properly fixed for months

great tasting chicken and nice spice and I love this mashed potatoes and the garlic bread ain't too bad, most of all I love how they have a concrete sink where you can wash your mouth and hands, very traditional

Can order 1/4 or 1/2 chicken and then top up by 1-2 side dishes if you like.

Staff was friendly but overloaded. After we were asked to wait outside as table was just pending for cleaning, they Kept us waiting for more than 15 min until we asked again. Same with food, waited too long after order, approx 25 min, and only after reminder someone brought it for us which was not as hot as expected till that time.
