The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Brasserie food

Small plate, large plate and dessert were all outstanding. We have always found the standard of the food at the Smokery to be consistently good. The Cornish Lobster was amazing and the desserts beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming and professional, we look forward to visiting again, hopefully it will be soon. Be prepared to pay approximately £11.00 for starter, between £15.00 and £25.00 for main and £10.00 for dessert. My only issue is that it is impossible to see the menu if you are not on Facebook, I really wish they would change that. If anyone from the Smokery reads this, please, please publish your review on your website.

Visité ayer para cenar y el servicio y la comida fue increíble. Personal atento y bistec cocinado a la perfección. Antonio vino a nuestra mesa para conversar y el otro camarero Rakim me dijo que su madre era de mi cuello del bosque. A pesar de que vivimos muy lejos, volveremos a fin de mes para otra excelente cena.

Tuve la recepción de mi boda aquí. ¡Perfecto! Todo lo que quería y más. Pansy y Jez gente encantadora, la comida era 10 / 10 y la decoración del restaurante / mesa se veía fabuloso. Ojalá pudiera hacerlo todo de nuevo. Xx

The service & quality of the meal were excellent. We were celebrating a family birthday & we will have great memories. Thanks to Rashid who made us feel so welcome. Thanks also for the team who provided some excellent & memorable food. Brilliant!! We are looking forward to returning soon.

Ten out of ten went twice can not fault it at all . Great staff and amazing food . Very similar to nandos was exactly what I expected it to be x

La comida era excelente y buenas porciones. El servicio era de primera clase. Un ambiente muy agradable. Sin duda recomendaría.

Me alojé en el Malone Lodge con un amigo, ambos somos veganos, por lo que era comprensible que nos preocupara un poco que no tuviéramos muchas opciones cuando bajáramos a cenar. Nos sorprendió gratamente descubrir que la camarera (olvidé su nombre pero parecía un gerente y tenía el pelo rubio) fue increíblemente servicial, servicial y amable. Teníamos un delicioso entrante que era una ensalada fresca, falafel frito, trufa il y pan de pita. Luego tuvimos un delicioso curry. Cuando llegamos a desayunar había una gran selección continental e incluso nos dieron leche de soja. El chef nos hizo alevines y también fue encantador. No podría recomendar este lugar más por el servicio y la calidad de la comida. ¡Gracias! !

Average at best. £12.50 for 4 prawns on skewers as a sharing plate. The Moroccan chicken skewers with Cous Cous was below par and although presented relatively well it did not lend itself to the so called exciting dishes as advertised! The menu choices are not good and quite frankly sparse. The choice of desserts was disheartening, although reasonably priced. The drinks are expensive £3.50 for a half of Coke and £10 for a glass of wine is quite honestly too much. The Good friendly service from the front of house staff can’t be faulted. Average food at an above average price. Will definitely NOT be going back.

Arrived at about 3:30ppm. Beer garden was still closed (for over a month now). Went to sit in the main bar area but told they were setup for evening meals so waht directed to a small area. Not a great atmosphere - a local pub for locals only ? Won't be going back in a hurry.

Afraid to report this excellent restaurant has closedown. Sad news! Closed about the begining of December.

Absolutely great food and very friendly staff.. food was all cooked from fresh.. deffo be going again
