First time here, super lady waited on us, great setting. Nobody else there but can imagine atmosphere wonderful when more busy. Food was amazing, so tasty. We had bread when we came in which amazing, garlic mushrooms and halloumi for starters, moussaka and chicken kebab for mains. 2 courses for £15 great value. Bathroom spotless. Would definitely recommend

Food was ok, nothing special. Waitresses were friendly and helpful, service was quick, although it was a quiet evening BUT I though the portions were small and the salad had seen better days

Absolutely awful, 6 people in the whole restaurant and 4 of them were from our family meal, meals came out cold from start to finish, when I complained about my meal being cold they said that was how it was supposed to be even though my mum had the same meal which was hot, they then brought the meal back out to me with the chef and stuck her knuckles in my meal and said it was hot and it was my problem, what restaurant would ever do this? She then proceeded to put it into the microwave and brought it back to me at which time everything was over cooked and hard, no apology and staff very rude and still charged for the full meal, never go back absolutely appalling service and food

Came here for my birthday meal as we had just returned from our holiday to Turkey, everything was beautiful. The drinks, starters, sides, and the main meals were all perfect. This restaurant is nice an clean and service was amazing the staff couldn't of done more for us to make us feel welcome. Beautiful place will definitely be visiting again :)

Starters were just acceptable, halloumi deep fried ( over fried) chicken dry and garlic mushrooms chopped very small? Main came with just chips even tho we ordered chips and rice and most of the meat was overcooked. Pretty much just thrown on the plate. Long story short we asked for a gesture on the bill to be met with hostility, If you don’t pay we will call the police. Chips and rice are free with the meal so it doesn’t matter what we give you. Write what you want on your review we don’t care. It’s not our fault we have been busy. That was some of the comment from the 5 staff that gathered around the table. I only gave a score of 2 because we got the emails we ordered and didn’t get food poisoning. Staff need training in standard good service let alone how not to bully customers Don’t be fooled by the food pictures on the web site it’s doesn’t come presented that well.

Visited with 5 other friends, starters- garlic mushrooms were a bit of a mushroom surprise, chicken was dry and the halloumi overcooked ( deep fried not on the charcoal grill?) ordered the mains with half and half rice and chips. When they arrived all plates had only chips albeit tons of them, when we pointed this out we were told they had no rice, we pointed out maybe they could have told us the answer was it’s not their fault they have been busy!? A lot of the meat on the mains was overcooked. Service was mediocre. When we got the bill we requested they make a gesture on the bill due to service, without writing a complete essay they were unwilling or unable to offer anything, we then ended up with 5 staff members standing around the table, we had statements like, if you don’t pay we will call the police, the rice and chips are free so it doesn’t matter what we give you, we don’t care write what you want on your review. We asked to see the manager but we’re told the manager was not there. In the end they did offer a gesture on the bill and we paid the new cost and left having been threatened and left feeling unvalued. Ruined what could have been a great night and enjoyable meal. The lady that stepped in at the end and dealt with the bill was the only saving grace ( sorry didn’t get your name but thank you) Suggest some training of the staff ( which should definitely included not trying to bully customers) and checking what the chef is sending out.

Had a meal here tonight EXCELLENT XX been a few times before LOVELY FRIENDLY STAFF and beautiful tasty different food !!! I highly recommend the chicken and asparagus FANTASTIC 😋👌👌👌👌

Ella's Turkish Charcoal Grill Really top notch food & service. Some of the best Mediterranean food we've had including having travelled all over Turkey. Great service, very efficient. Great value for money too. Definitely recommend.

Since they changed owners and become Ella the place just went downhill. £14 for a main with 6 cubes of chicken breast with a tiny chips. No salad or veggie sides. The waitress was wearing a jogging pants and a black hoodie. Acting like she is giving you a favour to serve you. Very disappointing. Was our favourite place. But don't think I will go back again. There are much nicer Turkish restaurants in Bebington.

Went other week only 2 of us in, starter took half n hour, partner asked for Sea Bass n no veg/salad just the chips, asked were they home cooked? ... Told they were chunky ... Happy days we like the home made or chunky so both ordered chunk chips with our main meals, mine was a pasta dish! When came both had skiny fries n he had salad n the Sea Bass wasn't filited!!! He could barely eat it for amount of bones, terrible n had to leave it. To be fair my Mousaka was nice, but a 2nd couple had come in n got their starters within 10 mins, n mains soon after, our wait wasn't on! Young girl serving us said "so you want your starter eith your main brought out together?" I replied "no we wsnt our starters 1st then main", she replied looking at my partner so you won't yours brought together?" I said "NO, we both want our starters followed by our mains, that's why they called starters, are you knew here?" She just giggled, n was same one who told us fries were chunky chips frozen!! ... dont know where they find some of these people lol. Won't be going back there again!

Tried our local 'walk to' restaurant. Waitress was friendly, polite, helpful, attentive and very pleasant! The food was excellent!!! We will become regulars!

Really good however there were some mix ups with the drink orders and it took a long time to get served but apparently they had new staff so hopefully it will improve. But the food won us over and we will be going back.

Never sent food back in my life but did here last week. Meatballs very dry and first few bites resulted in pieces of hard fat being picked out my mouth. Also tasted frozen quality wise and at £7 for 3 tiny (and flat) meatballs with abit of sauce was obviously hugely over priced. Main was an improvement but still lacked seasoning. Probably could of cooked better myself at home, and at nearly £15 was again hugely over priced. Didn't get any proper feed back why the starter was so bad either, which was disappointing. We just got our mains brought instead and chucked infront of us. Thankfully didn't get charged for the starter. Although I did say I wouldn't of paid for it anyway. Frustrating really as me and my partner had been looking forward to trying here. Won't be returning. I'm not one for leaving bad reviews but this one had to be said. I did notice walking out just one chef in the kitchen, running round looking like he had the world on his shoulders and probably throwing the food out. Something probably needs to be done though to assist him but they (owners) still shouldn't be charging those prices if the food quality isn't meeting those prices.

The food here is generally good, but they always seem to have availability issues with certain menu items, which is a shame. The pizza isn't great, but who goes to a Turkish restaurant for pizza anyway? Stick to the Turkish food and you'll have a good time.

Attended as it was my sisters birthday, we booked a table in advance. On arrival nobody seemed to know anything about the booking even though I had rang and confirmed only the day before. We sat at table and where sat for a good 15 minutes before offered a drink. Waitresses where young and tried there best. There was another group in the restaurant who where drunk and loud and really spoilt our meal with the shouting and we in fact left as soon as we had finished our meal instead of having a drink afterwards. Food was OK but in fact was nothing special, there are other local Turkish grill restaurants which have a better atmosphere, friendlier staff and better portions.

The staff warned us there was quite a rowdy party upstairs but we didn’t mind. There was a wait for our food because of the party but we were given complimentary hummus whilst we waited which was delicious. Can’t fault the place - extremely helpful and friendly staff and the food is lovely - will definitely go again! 😊

The food here is absolutely amazing a lot nicer thar Ella on woodchurch Road in my own opinion. Also the pizza was the best I've ever had on the wirral we will be visiting again soon

Fantastic food and excellent service

Wow what an absolutely fantastic evening. We booked a table for 14 for a birthday meal. When we arrived we where greeted with a lovely surprise, a chocolate fountain, fresh fruit, marshmallows and mini cakes for dipping. They had also made a beautiful drip birthday cake laden with fresh fruit. All this on the house from the very lovely staff at the Ristanbull Ella. We all had special sharing platters which were like a mountain of the most delicious barbecued meats. Our waitress was really lovely and looked after us well, as did the other members of the team. To round it off there was a brilliant saxophonist who played the occasional tune and a singer who serenaded the birthday boy and girl!! What a wonderful place...fantastic food, fantastic staff, lovely decor all on our doorstep, we will most definitely be back ...thank you for making our night special.

Such an amazing restaurant, been here loads and it never fails to amaze me. Food is delicious, all the waitresses are so welcoming and go out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Bread and salad are given on arrival, starters are a perfect size and mains are so beautifully filling. Can’t recommend this place enough🤩

Seven friends met up for a Birthday meal at Ella, our lovely waitress took us to a large table in the upstairs area. We were made to feel really welcome and were brought some flat bread and salad while we viewed the menu. We chose sharing platters which included lamb, chicken, kofta and halloumi, all cooked on a charcoal grill, which makes everything taste amazing. The staff were friendly the service and food perfect! Thanks to all at ELLA for hosting a brilliant night

Absolutely beautiful meal here with my family the other day. The food was so flavoursome, and generous portions. We had a lovely waitress called Chloe, who was so on the ball, nothing was too much trouble. She was really knowledgable and friendly. Would really recommend this restaurant.

Bit confused as they had changed name but staff were wonderful and they treated me like a queen as it was my birthday meal. Food was delicious, good portions and piping hot. Restaurant nice and bright so we could see what we were eating! Gave me a free pud so I was more than happy.

We just happened to spot this place as we drove past looking for something to eat. I’m so glad we stopped here. The food was delicious! We had the mezza platter for two. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. The service was attentive without being over bearing. We would definitely recommend it. Just one note it was a Tuesday evening and 6pm so we can’t comment on what the service would be like on a busy Saturday night.

Myself and my partner went for tea saturday night as it was recommended to us. We arrived and the restaurant was busy and the young lady waiter apologised for making us wait to be seated. We were originally seated downstairs by the bar but i was too cold from the draught of the door so asked if we could change seats. We then were seated upstairs which was lovely. It did take the waitress half an hour to come and take our food order. We had starters. I had the minced lamb on the skewer and my partner had the prawns and they were amazing. For our mains my partner had a lamb dish which he really enjoyed and i picked the salmon, thinking it might come with a sauce but it didnt. The salmon was cooked to perfection but i just found the dish too dry without any sauce. I was slightly underwhelmed by the restaurant in general which is a shame but the staff were lovely and the food was cooked perfectly but just not what i had hoped for. Thank you

I'm here for a surprise 50th birthday party. The venue is great and easily accessible. The food is fantastic, we had a buffet that was really tasty. And the staff are fantastic and really attentive. Great place to go. Thanks to everyone involved in making ny evening great.

We popped in to an empty restaurant on Sunday afternoon, and were greeted very politely and shown to a table. Turned out it was a couple of minutes before they officially opened, so it was nice to be greeted so pleasantly!! We had a couple of beers and a huge sharing platter, along with complimentary bread and garlic butter. Absolutely delicious food. Very pleasant staff.

Absolutely love ristanbul ,the service is wonderful, from the minute you step into ,this lovely restaurant. You are greeted with lovely staff. The restaurant is like a holiday feel . Lovely decor spotless and airy. Very child friendly. The food is absolutely gorgeous. I'm a vegetarian and spoilt for choice . Iv been a number of times now ,with family and friends. Its on my top list of favourites..drinks very reasonably priced. Highly recommended 👌

Dropped in to Ristanbul quite by chance. The food was amazing, great portion size, well cooked and steaming hot. The service was second to none My partner and I will certainly recommend and pay them a visit again and again

We went here a few times when it was zuzus and were disappointed. Not been back since it reopened as Ristanbul until this visit. Food was OK, service was good and meals were good value for money. Will come again. This photo is of the mezzo for 25 quid for 2.

Absolutely amazing place ! The setting , the food and all the staff ... we have made this place our new fave place , the food is so so good (mouth watering) it was so hard for us to pick a main out of the very wide range of meals to choose from ... food was piping hot , from being greeted to waiting at table , we was never left waiting for service, chefs even welcomed us (they have no problem cooking your meat to your preference) waiting on staff were so friendly and nothing was to hard for them .... we loved our meal sorry we cant remember the names but pics are included ( a lovely table opposite us orderd the mezze for 2 and it looked amazing) we cant wait to go back! Thank you to all of you!

Ordered online 80 pounds worth of food . Arrived cold . Starters of king prawns were disgusting , rubbery an dry , calamari was like fried flour no calamari in it .we Ordered rice which was pearl barley an Bulgar wheat . No yogurt an mint sauces which we orderd . Dry chicken . V disapionting bk to the med kitchen .

I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. We booked as a party of 3, the restaurant was empty (half expected as its on a Tuesday night) but also a shame as the weather and atmosphere were lovely. No matter though as we were treated like queens throughout! The food was truly amazing! The chicken and Asparagus was my personal favourite. The mushrooms were also lovely as a starter. We were brought complimentary bread and garlic butter at the start, which they soon replenished, my only regret is that I couldn't finish it all! Basically, everything was delicious, I cannot say anything more! The waiters were just lovely. Very welcoming and friendly. We even got a complimentary cocktail at the end of the evening. We cannot wait to return, thank you all so much x

Absolutely amazing !! My first take out since I have been back from uni and I thought I would treat my self , I bought a jumbo mezze platter for my self ( I can never decide on a dish so I just thought I would get a bit of everything as it is all so delicious !! ) and a meatballs meal for my sister. My sister absolutely adores the meatballs and they are always so kind to include sauce for her !! She loves the seasonings and is always excited to try new foods I try out !! Portions are super generous so i get plenty to take to work the next day ❤️ I can never fault them and the customer service is always amazing !! One of my best dates was here before lockdown and it is absolutely stunning inside and I can't wait to go back next week once they reopen for indoor dining!! Forever one of my favourite restaurants and food is always amazing !! Seriously cannot fault them at all !!
