A bit club-vibe interior , I did prefer the old, rustic, mini shed-like shop, but fair enough the business wants to expand. but the chicken was very nice and reasonably priced. We didnt pay the service charge as if I want to tip the waiter I will do it myself, doesnt make sense for it to go to the owner

Visited for bottomless brunch. Food was good, not a massive choice of drinks but what we had was nice & they kept us topped up!! Good service. Would return.

We called in whilst visiting Ludlow to do a bit of shopping. We had a look around and had two takeaway coffees. We were so impressed that we went back for lunch. We ate a pepperoni pizza outside which was absolutely delicious. Pizza was on a sourdough base and was to die for. My wife and I both agreed it was the best pizza we had ever eaten (we’ve had a lot) The lady owner was lovely, and a really good host. We bought a few provisions from the well stocked shop as well. Highly recommend

Don't order the scampi. I contact them telling them that even though the scampi looked cooked on the outside, the fish inside was warm, not hot and the batter inside was not cooked through. We threw them away. Will not order from there again. Prices have gone up but quality is not the same. Its gone downhill unfortunately

An absolute gem in Carisbrooke! Angel Bar & Grill serves outstanding food, with every dish full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff are warm, welcoming, and go above and beyond. Parking is super easy—right across the road. A must-visit!

Absolutely loved Mesen & would highly recommend. We were in town for a long weekend and went back a second time for the Sunday roast as a family after such a great dinner the night before, and it didn’t disappoint! The mussels, steak, pork, lamb tacos plus all the veggies/roast trimmings were all delicious. Good sized portions, plus brilliant cocktails & wine selection too. We didn’t have space for desert, but the basque cheesecake looked top notch.

my parents live local to nancarrow so when my husband and i came down to visit, they booked us in for lunch lovely location and stunning barn that you're seated in it was a full house so was very busy and rather noisy but was a great atmosphere. the waiting staff were friendly and attentive Food was plentiful and excellent. very very tasty! we said to my parents we'd happily go there again when we're next down in cornwall! thank you Nancarrow for a fantastic lunch!

We came here on a wim as we had a child free few hours, the service was immaculate, the food was absoutley amazing. What I presume was the owner was such a lovely lady and made us feel so welcome. They said there would be a wait on food but we waited no longer than 20 minutes and it was well worth it. Will be returning as its practically on our door step, can't believe we haven't given it a go before.

Was really looking forward to grabbing a bite to eat from this place, although I think I'll be giving it a wide berth from now on!! Definitely not the same as it used to be, i was working in the area for many years and really enjoyed the food from here. Unfortunately it's gone down the same road as al the other little independent shops and started hiking up prices. I just paid £6 for a four piece meat box meal, not even enough food there for the youngest child, and you don't get a great choice either, when I started going in there 13 years ago, they didn't have the box meal thing, and you could choose everything in the meat counter. Real shame, but appears greed has took over here!!

8 of us visited the restaurant. Thought it was quiet only 3 teenage girls there. .... Perhaps there was a reason ..... .......🤔 Ordered our food. Ribs .... only Two ribs on the plate mostly bone, not a lot of meat grossly overpriced at £14 and £5 for dirty fries. ( Bowl of frozen chips with a sprinkling of topping. )😱 Other food ordered was the meat platter. Again for £28 inluding 2 side dishes it was not good value as not a lot of meat. Burgers seemed ok but overpriced. 😱😱 The final nail in the coffin was being charged for several side dishes which were inclusive . When pointed out the bill was amended but no apology.😱😱😱 Only saving grace was no bar so we bought alcohol from the garage opposite. 😀 Needless to say we will not be returning.

I don't have enough praise for this place. The customer service was incredible. They were super friendly and made my experience the best possible one. I went with my mum for some breakfast after dropping my brother off to play cricket and we had read the reviews about this place and they were amazing, so we decided to give it a go. And it more than lived up to the other reviews we had read. The service was so quick, which worked out perfectly because we had to go get my brother and the value for money was amazing. The food was top quality and really filling - best breakfast I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast for a reasonable price!
