The Coffee Club & Gin Bar in Wakefield

I don't have enough praise for this place. The customer service was incredible. They were super friendly and made my experience the best possible one. I went with my mum for some breakfast after dropping my brother off to play cricket and we had read the reviews about this place and they were amazing, so we decided to give it a go. And it more than lived up to the other reviews we had read. The service was so quick, which worked out perfectly because we had to go get my brother and the value for money was amazing. The food was top quality and really filling - best breakfast I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast for a reasonable price!

We stop here once a month when visiting my inlaws. Friday, 3/02, 1pm peak lunchtime and no tuna? It is a staple and there's a shop across the road where you can get a couple cans. This is not a perishable food and should be well stocked. Otherwise, staff were lovely.

A lovely place and all the staff were tremendous. The food was lovely and so much of it. Can't say enough about the food, atmosphere and all the staff. I would definitely go there again

Just been in for coffee and a scone with my sister. The scones were lovely and moist and were served with very generous helpings of butter and jam. The total cost for 2 coffees and scones was only £8 . I think better value for money would be very hard to find. I must also add that the staff are very welcoming friendly and polite.

Absolutely fabulous gin bar! Had the best night out I’ve had in a long time. Staff were absolutely amazing, food was to die for and amazing sized portions. Music was 10/10 and staff singing on karaoke was fantastic, such an amazing atmosphere for a night out. Not from the area but cannot wait to visit again xx

Had a great night with friends at the gin bar last night. The atmosphere is brilliant and Tom and Aiden are fantastic hosts. Loved the cocktails which were very reasonably priced. Can't wait to return.

Visited for the first time on a Friday lunch, lovely how it has been decorated. Warm, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Had a mixture of G&T's then lunch: paninis and posh fish finger sarnie all with fries. Nicely cooked, hot, really tasty and well presented. Two coffees and delicious lemon cake to follow. Couldn't fault it and very reasonably priced (I noted someone said it is overpriced, well it's not a cheap 'greasy spoon', thank goodness). Hope this place is a success, they deserve it, we will be back, hopefully one Fri/Sat evening for a few more gins!

Had a lovely lunch - for my mum’s 87th Birthday. The food and service was excellent and they went that extra mile by having a card and balloon on the table for her. It’s great value for money and the decor is bright and uplifting

Great coffee!! The only decent cup in the area (unless you own a Marzocca), morning coffee fix - fixed ! ;)

I was really looking forward to trying the food from here as I’d heard a lot of good things but I was disappointed. The steak was bland and very tough, we couldn’t eat it. The macaroni cheese was also bland. The fries were just standard fries. The chicken and ribs were also lacking in seasoning. The onions rings were nice but quite greasy. I could’ve definitely made the same food myself that was tastier and cheaper than what I paid.

This was my first time visiting this place and omg it's amazing! All the staff are friendly, attentive, the food was amazing (highly recommend the mac & cheese) and the cocktails are amazing. Well worth the money!! I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday here and the guys here made sure it was a special one. They also serve food during the day so go check these guys out xx

I have been several times, with my husband, with family and with friends. Every time i've had brilliant service by the staff and lovely food. The day time menu and evening menu are both well thought out with a good variety. They cater for veggies, gluten free, nut free and slimmers (in particular those on slimming world).from my experience given notice im sure they would provide options for any dietry requirements.its a nice small restraunt with limited evening sittings meaning you arent forgotten about or rushed and its a lovely relaxed friendly atmosphere.

The first time I visited with a friend, the second time with family. Both times the food was delicious, it’s a reasonably simple menu but using good quality ingredients and cooked perfectly, decent selection of drinks which I’m sure will grow as they become more established, we will no doubt be back again and again

Lovely relaxing easy flowing night out . Fabulous meal and drinks and top service. It’s the sort of place it can be anything you want it to be with a touch of class . Definitely worth a try. Price very good .
