I have been there about 10 times this year ordering different dishes, and having eaten from over 100 restaurants in the UK is this one the best. The management, taste of the food and quantity of the dishes for the price is spot on. I dont see there is anything they can do to improve anywhere.

Usually nice food but with reasonable wait on delivery - I can live with that. However, the latest delivery was really bad and topped off by lacklustre customer service. I ordered at 7:35pm and was delivered at 9:29pm - 1hr 54 mins and we live 8 minutes down the road. (It came later than the first delivery time and later than the revised 1 hour later time on just eat). When I called after 1.5 hours asking where it was I received literally no apology or explanation - now that’s hard to swallow. Food arrived tepid. Sadly will give up on this place now. Takeaway treats are expensive and it becomes no longer worth it when your food doesn’t even come for two hours. Might as well have had a piece of toast.

Had chicken tikka massala as usual from East and it was shocking!!! It usually tastes of coconut and is sweet, however today it had zero sweetness and zero coconut in the sauce. Feel like I've been ripped off and will never order from East again!!!

Absolutely can not wait to come back! Extremely well priced and atmospheric. Three of us had the Thali and were able to try dishes we hadn't had before and I can't lie. It was incredible!! We also ordered a mixed grill between us which was very tasty. So much food for the price and we ended up taking some home. Can not wait to come again. In fact is tonight too soon??!

Lovely authentic Vietnamese cuisine and very nice service. However, it's more of a casual dining/take away sort of place than a restaurant to go too far out your way for. BYOB. We liked the traditional choices like pho and spring rolls, but the beef curry was very dry (more like Bombay Potato) and not coconuty as described.

By the look of this restaurant you would think it was more fine dining than casual dining. However the friendliness of the staff, reasonable price of the meals and warmth of the atmosphere makes the overall feeling very homely. The food was delicious and fresh. The peanut sauce was one of the best I have ever eaten. And the cocktails were some of the best cocktails I have ever drunk and I highly recommend trying them! It was booked out the first night in Bath, but I was so glad to get a booking the following night because it was fantastic.
