Tujeje moula

I came to eat at the Mango Thai cafe yesterday with a friend. I did check with the staff - this place has the same owner as the Lemongrass Thai Street Food place that is next door but one. I went for the Chilli bomb tofu with holy basil and my friend for the Vegan pad Thai. This place is completely vegan so we both had a lot of delicious food to choose from but I fancied something spicy. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, it's definitely somewhere we will be coming back to 🥰 They brought us out some new items from the menu to try as well as our own food which was so kind and we were really grateful for 💖 I would definitely recommend anybody passing The Moor Market in Sheffield City Centre to stop by and try some of this incredible vegan food. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience xx

Our first time to visit this restaurant and we were not disappointed. It was busy but the staff greeted us and we were seated straight away. I love the fact that their decoration and service are very Korean which is serving water, side dishes, dishes in both Korean and English. We had vegetarian Bibimbap and Seafood ramen that day and it was so delicious. I myself used to work in a kitchen and I cook a lot Korean food at home. The ingredients seems fresh and the taste is authentic, just how it is cooked in Korea. Kpop songs played in the background is a nice touch too. Two things I would suggest are adding Barley tea to their menu and a bit more various and generous with their side dishes. We wil definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends and come back soon.

Very tasty food. Friendly environment with beautiful authentic decor inside. The owner was very welcoming. The Katsu chicken sushi was divine and the golden dragon maki was to die for. All halal too since the new takeover last year. Would definitely recommend.

Service was sub par and food was way too overpriced, was only a step up from a normal Chinese takeaway due to non soggy spring rolls but was triple the price, toilets were filthy and couldn’t sleep at all after due to being so ridiculously thirsty wouldn’t go again.

Very wide choices on the menu. Generous portions. Helpful and friendly staff. Specialise in Malaysian cuisine but also have extensive Chinese menu. It's a bit brightly lit for my tastes and has a little downmarket feel but the food and service are good.

Had the Watalappam cake as it sounded really interesting. I have since read it's a very popular dessert and wow, it was lovely! Sweet and treacly, and for me, had the texture of a bread and butter pudding. Loved it. The ice cream was the perfect accompaniment. Even if you order food from other stalls (I did) you must try this for dessert!

I’m getting more and more into Thai/ Malaysian/ Asian food – especially a good noodle dish with some fried chicken, a bit of spice and I especially like it when a dish topped with a fried egg. Or a decent Thai curry / a laksa with a good kick of spice goes down well too. So when we visited Syiok-Lah, they provided two of my ultimate plates of heaven; Maggie Goreng – Fried Chicken (£13.95): Stir-fried Malaysian noodles with mixed veg, egg, topped with spring onion, crispy shallots, fresh chillies, and lime to finish. Rice Dish – Beef Rendang (12.95): 6 hours slow-cooked beef in 10 combinations of herbs, spices, coconut milk and toasted coconut. Served with coconut rice and cucumbers. Garnish with coriander and fresh chillies We also shared a Chicken Satay Bao Bun (£7.50) Everything was exceptionally delicious and we cleared the plates (as you can see). The service was swift and staff really helpful and friendly. Other dishes on their menu include Roti Canai (two pieces of flaky roti bread served with a choice of Beef Rendang or Chicken Curry), Laksa, Loaded Fries, Chicken Drumsticks and more. There is only one Vegan option currently but this may change as they grow?!
