The best restaurants serving Asian food in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

First time visiting. Easy to park outside. Menu of authentic Indian Street food with plenty of vegetarian options all food was very tasty and service was excellent. Despite its out of city centre location, well worth a visit

Having my PHO and milk tea here for lunch. The shop was quite busy but my waiting time is not long. Staffs are friendly and food is amazing. The broth is so good and portion was enough for me. Really like the Pho and milk tea. A good choice for lunch and definitely will be back. Happy today

I was at Leeds and looking for some authentic Malaysian food . Saw this high review Malaysian cafe in Google maps, thought just give it a try. I ordered a nasi lemak with beef rendang. Just to sample the food , cost me about £13 for takeaway. I felt abit gutted when I opened the container , colour of the rendang looks not appetising at all, in a thick brown watery sauce ( looks like pxx) I don’t even feel like trying it 😩. I’m from Kuala Lumpur and definitely never seen this type of rendang before . Only given 7 small pieces of beef in it , and the sambal given on the rice , only less than a spoonful 🙈 absolutely not enough for the whole bowl of rice. For this price they charged !!!! It was really a huge disappointment 🙈🙈 didn’t expect a Malaysian opened cafe can be this bad . I could have give one star, but I felt so sorry for the chef . You could have done better. Even a pack of ready made rendang paste can do better job . Never again for us .

Pros: Really nice service and family owned and run Gujarati restaurant, tasty, comforting food. Hospitable staff ❤️ Cons: A little steep for the portion size, rice in really tiny bowls and small curry sizes (perhaps for an audience that orders only for themselves but not to share as is traditionally South Asian). We ordered the special chaat (excellent), Shahi paneer (really yummy), mushroom korma (also nice, spicy), lemon sodas (heavily diluted), mango cider (amazing!!), naan (not traditional, a little pasty and crumbly), Gujarati roti (really good!!) and pulao (okay) for 6 people.

Can't recommend this place enough , some of the best Thai food I have ever had , don't bother with any of the Chinese restaurants in wetherby if you fancy east Asian food , Baanrai is leaps and bounds ahead of them in taste and quality at a fairly similar price

Meat was a bit off and had a running tummy after. Not a bad spot to be but I would not pick it again. The other food was great but the pork was really bad, thus the score

the food is delicious, and I like the cosy atmosphere, really a great vibe to have a quiet dinner with my mum. The staff are nice.

1st time ordering from spice house and it won’t be the last .its was a very tasty lamb madras with the right amount of heat the meal deal for £15 is a bargain .

Thai 5 , 2 Lados, cenar arriba y abajo? Show número 2. Fácilmente el mejor tailandés que he probado en años. Un verdadero trato con los chefs tailandeses - sabores locos. Todos los entrantes disfrutaron - crujiente langostino la elección del grupo. Y un delicioso satay en segundo lugar. Massaman y Penang disfrutaron de los currys, pero recomiendo encarecidamente la firma Gra Pow Moo Krob, que me fue fácil de decir pero incluso más fácil de comer. Con el vientre de cerdo crujiente puesto en una deliciosa salsa hecha de chile, judías verdes y albahaca. Santa albahaca. Disfruta!

I’ll start with the positives - food was lovely. Decor is very pretty. Our server was friendly but perhaps inexperienced Negatives - we booked a table ages in advance. When we got there 5 mins early, we waited 20 mins to be sat down which made us late for the plans we’d booked after dinner. The rice for the salmon was missed, only brought to us after asking twice and my friend had finished his meal. The dessert was missed for my friend despite being ordered at the same time. Overall pretty poor service from an establishment that charges 12.5% service charge. Which we didn’t pay ofc. I would maybe try it again but with great reluctance. EDIT: don’t be fooled by management replying to reviews, as they don’t respond to emails once you do email them as per their request😂

Mejor Té de burbujas en leeds, bien creo, así que... Té sabor mango, Mango vuelve a burbujas y esperemos budín... mmmmm mejor bebida en la tienda... Nuevo dependiendo de su preferencia, este lugar es bueno o malo, creo que no será demasiado decepcionado si tienes uno malo aquí como este lugar es la bomba... Me gusta este lugar vía láctea té, no vía láctea en lugar de aguada... las burbujas son deliciosos y frescos... En general, encontrar esta joya y disfrutar... una de las mejores variedades en leeds... Aprobado. Soy un visitante muy frecuente aquí, como todas las tiendas de té burbuja tienen un esquema de comprar una tarjeta de sello... dan un sello... recogerá entre 8-12 sellos para un té, esta es generalmente la ofrecen en todos sitios... Creo que también hacen descuento de estudiante aquí también.

Quite small portions, hardly any chips. Taste was ok.

I fancied keema and chips so I rang this place and they charged me £16 to take away. Keema was not great. Well over priced for the quality.
