Great place. Best Leeds Chinese Restaurant.

Be advised these all happened back in 2021-2022 (Felix). The memories! We discovered Noodle House by accident, i think it was November 2021? Either way, it becomes our favorite place to hang out. I usually ordered Laksa in the Winter and Fried Kway Tiau on the Summer, while my neighbors and friends either Malatang or Pork Noodle. I highly recommend the Chips and Youutiao/Cakwe for sharing. Not sure about the Beef Rendang tho, but i think the fried rice tasted good too. Regarding the price? Found it reasonable for international students. If you're someone who came from South East Asia, we highly recommend Noodle House if you're craving food from home and need a place to hang out.

This place is pretty good!! Huge variety of rice and noodle dishes including popular hk and Malaysian dishes. Service is fairly kind and everyone speaks English and is attentive if you need any help. The portions are huge for the rice from what I saw! The dishes we got also didn’t shy off a small portion either so was very filling and the quality felt like back home, lots of smoky flavour on the noodles with the authentic ingredients and toppings. Definitely a spot I should’ve went to earlier and the number of Asian customers they get shows that. A hidden gem in Leeds and would definitely go again!

Hidden gem. Some of the best food I've had in a while, reasonably priced too. Quick service event though it was busy when we went.

Went out for lunch with my daughter and we enjoyed the piping hot shrimp wonton soup with rice noodles🤤Chinese tea has a great taste and one of the great taste I have ever sipped!! Food is amazing and good quality. It’s also very reasonably priced too. Food is always piping hot, and exactly what you ordered. Service is friendly, polite and quick. Noodle House has become a firm favourite of mine and my boyfriend’s over the last year or so. The roasties are also delicious and the takeaway is just as good as eating in. You always can tell how good a place is by how busy it is in my eyes. And this place is always busy, especially on evenings and weekends! A proper little gem in the heart of Leeds! 🥰💜

First time there, my boy loves noodles and you can't get wrong here. We got the one with 3 meats and dumplings as starter. Faultless. Will be back for sure.

Best Malaysian/Chinese food in Leeds. The portions are huge, the service is speedy, the price is reasonable and everything I've tried has been top tier. It may look a little like a dodgy takeaway from the outside but don't let that fool you. It's outstanding.

I personally think this is the best Chinese food in Leeds over the past year (haha, I know the restaurant specializes in Malaysian dishes), not one of them, but I must say that the fried beef river that xhs loves to recommend is just average, lightning-proof, and as a Malay restaurant, there is no coconut. The rice is a pity

As they have written on the wall, the traditional Canton style roast has been genuinely demonstrated. We surely enjoyed as much as what we had back in Hong Kong. 三燒撈麵 is amazing. Juicy roasted duck is the star. BBQ pork and soy chicken also incredible. We would have ordered a few more items had we entered the shop in a bigger gang. The menu is just too big to handle😅😅 so let save some for next time hopefully not a long wait then. Last but not least. Service is excellent. We thank the friendly and polite staff very much. 👍👍

Popped in on a cold winter afternoon and this was exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the music was on quite low so it didn't dominate the atmosphere. I had the laksa noodle soup on my friend's recommendation and it was fantastic; savoury, decent level of spice, and a massive portion for the reasonable price. Can't recommend enough!

Super busy, great food, reasonable price. Not much atmosphere or decor - more of a simple/ basic cafe style place. But very fast, efficient service.

Went for lunch yesterday (my partner has been wanting to try it for ages) and we really enjoyed the wonton soup and roasties with noodles. I’m 9 months pregnant and as soon I entered the door the staff were so accomodating and asked customers to merge onto a table so I could have the comfort of my own space. Fantastic service and excellent food. Thank you!

I have visited Noodle House on a few occasions and have been thoroughly impressed each time. I had the braised beef ho fun noodles this time 😋 delicious!

Outstanding, superb, really rather good across the board ! One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time … we had variously dumplings in soy sauce (Devine) beef and chicken randang, beef brisket hot and sour noodles and chicken and Char Sui with rice all were superb in a cosy cafe atmosphere served by efficient friendly and knowledgeable staff, you would be hard pressed to find a better all round food service and atmosphere … thank you all !

Great food and great place and it's non halal

The food was delicious! It's an authentic asian restauran. I ordered braised beef sour and spicy noodles. The noodles texture was very nice, the beef was amazing, and the soup was great! If I come back to Leeds, I will defo grab something from here. P.s. they helped my friend finding halal option 👍

I had the beef curry rice, the curry is not really Hong Kong flavoured, it’s closer to Japanese but still spicy. The portion is on point. The staff are proactive, will come back to try the Siu Meis

Just a wonderful little restaurant - great food, reasonably priced. Staff helpful and friendly even though they are always busy. Cannot recommend highly enough. The place to come to for a tasty, quick meal before a show in Leeds.

This food here is god-sent. You don't have to read reviews for it, just visit and pick a random item on the menu. Everything is good. The roasties here finish by like 3 or 4pm so do go early if you want roasties. Definitely one of the best roast duck in Leeds. The spicy beef noodle soup (mi xian) and stir fried mi xian is also a must-try. The beef they give is braised to perfection and the broth is so flavourful and rich. The normal stir-fried kueh tiaw and mi hoon are both amazing as well. One of the best spots in Leeds. You'll definitely go back again and again (just like I do)!

Amazing food and friendly staff! This little hole in the wall is a hidden gem serving amazing traditional Chinese dishes. The food is incredibly flavourful and comforting. I think about our last meal here daily. We ordered the dumplings in soy sauce (an absolute must, don’t miss out!), Fried Ho Fun with Beef, and the Spicy Hot Poached Beef in Red Chili Oil with rice. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

One of the nicest Chinese meals I have ever had, the food was absolutely delicious. Customer service fantastic, staff incredibly friendly. This is my go to Chinese in Leeds City Centre :)

Always excellent food. Service is great and so fast. The dumplings are ace but also try the salt and pepper onion rings.

The environment is small but quite clean. I order Yunnan hot and sour rice noodles every time I come here, I love it!

Me hubiera gustado ver una selección más grande de tés helados, ya que me dijeron que no había ninguno y solo había té verde caliente. Es un lugar donde se va a comer algo delicioso barato y rápido. Me gustó mucho mi visita. 4 estrellas solo se debe a la falta de selección de bebidas. Lo único que hay que tener en cuenta, el pato se sirve con un trozo de hueso que se corta, fragmentos de hueso pueden estar presentes, recomiendo tener un cuchillo y un tenedor para desmontarlo si tienes el pato. La comida es 5 / 5 , llevo mucho tiempo esperando descubrir un sitio como este. Recomiendo que traiga efectivo para pagar.

Nice Chinese and Malaysian dishes.

High quality Chinese and Malaysia food served at rapid speed in a humble, old fashioned cafe. No bling, just the real thing.

we went on a Saturday around 5ish It was very busy with people waiting to be seated. We ordered but was told they had run out of so many dishes telling us they sold out by 1pm, it was all very rushed, this is not a place for a leisurely meal, if you paused to chat your plates were taken (they tried). Its just OK, maybe it would have been better if 20% off the menu available!!

It is almost a hole in the wall place but absolutely worth every penny you spend. The setting is extremely home style but the flavour is really really good

We walked in just before 12pm on a Saturday. The place was almost full already but there wasn't another Western face to be seen. I knew we were in the right place! Having read others' recommendations, we chose the dumplings in soy sauce to start. Amazing. I had Char Kway Teow. I've been longing for this dish for ages. It's a Malay/Singapore staple, but not so often seen ulin the UK. It was as glorious and smoky with flat rice noodles stir fried. The portions here are very generous. You pay on ordering at your table, but then you can leave as soon as you finish. Don't let the outside fool you. It looks run of the mill, but the food is not. Highly recommended.

Very authentic Malaysian food. Although I have not been to Malaysia, I think it must have an authentic taste and the price is very cheap. It is a pity that it is only available in Leeds. If there was one in Glasgow, I would definitely go there every day

This restaurant is just class. As an Asian from Hong Kong, I would say this is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to in the UK. The food was superb with reasonable prices, services were excellent that staffs were very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend it to everyone. 高質

Simply restaurant in Leeds. Very busy I rightly so delicious noodles and rice dishes. Noodle house is not licensed, but if you're in need of a hearty bowl of noodles this is the place.

Good food, choice of Malaysian dishes, mostly noodles, obviously. Both soups (dumplings and wonton) vert good, but dumplings in soya sauce are unbeatable. Recommended: minced pork with aubergine! No beer is available, but that's not a problem - a few bars next door.

Easy going and delicious food. The quintessential no thrills Hong Kong style bbq with fantastic Malaysian dishes and unique specials. Can't recommend this place enough and highly recommend the braised beef in spicy soup.

2nd visit and we'll definitely be back next time in leeds😊 you know a Chinese is going to be good when it's full of Chinese people eating in there.. the food is authentic and delicious, spoilt for choice we'll probably work our way through the menu 🤣 we had some dumplings and tempura vegetables to start then shared a hofung beef and 3 roast rice dish the meats just melt in your mouth and such good value for money and the staff are very polite and friendly, be back soon😋

I tried the new Xinjiang fried rice noodles. It tastes very good, spicy and flavourful. The shrimps are very elastic and the tenderloin is delicious😋

The best chinese restaurant I’ve ever been too. Very affordable and the food was superb. Highly recommended!

Overall, it's pretty good. It's a good place for fast food. It's cheap and tastes good. Especially if there are a lot of people, you can order a whole roast duck in advance, it tastes very good.

Excellent curry laksa…as good as the best ones in Penang, Malaysia.

Second time here and I could say the Streer foods are quite authentic. I am not too impressed with the bento and ramen as it tasted too standard. The rice is not fresh as well and it loses the sweetness and firmness of fresh cooked Japanese rice. But overall, I highly recommended the variety of their snacks in particular!!!

I’ve been wanting to come here but they will be closed until 8th March 2024 (based on announcement in front of the store). :(

I was here for the beef rendang with rice. It is not Indonesian rendang but it is quite as close as the Indonesian one. Add 1 jasmine rice is a must :) The koay teow is perfect for me! One more thing, the staffs were very friendly and helpful with their guidance for the food information. Thanks!

Genuine malaysian/ singaporean food with great portion sizes, especially for the price. Friendly staff. Overall look of the restaurant could be modernised but the small chairs, tables and menus on the wall do add an authentic feel to the place. staff is friendly. Although it can get quite crowded and busy.

Delicious, canteen like East Asian restaurant. I think I had one of the best egg fried rice with beef from their chefs recommendations menu that I've had in my life, and I've had so many! Great place for a quick meal.

Really good food and nice quality-value. Duck seems to be very popular, they always run out of it by 6pm

Delicious food at unbeatable prices Service - Staff are always fantastic, fast, attentive and as friendly as they need to be! You're not getting silver spoon service, but if you want that then why are you here? Atmosphere - Classic style hustle and bustle fast paced eatery, this is something I love. If you don't, grow up. Food - I couldn't sing praises for the food anymore than I already do! I can't think of a single Chinese/Malay eatery which offers such tasty food for prices as good as this, even after the slight price rise post-covid it's still worth it every time. What to order? Really I would feel comfortable ordering anything from this menu, everything is cooked by fantastic chefs on high powered gas burners, anything cooked in those woks is dripping in wok hay flavour that is truly so special and unbeatable, however some of my favourites; Malatang Lamb/Beef w/ noodles or rice: Fantastically spiced and perfect amount of mouth numbing. Absolutely loaded with various meat offerings, vegetables and delicious broth. Perfect for cold weather! Pickled mustard greens and fish w/ noodles or rice: An acquired taste but I implore you to try and acquire it! A deliciously light yet flavourful broth which is slightly sour and goes so perfect with their toothsome vermicelli rice noodles. Again, absolutely loaded with fish and greens! Beef ho fun: If you want wok hay look no further, deliciously smokey tender noodles with gorgeous velvety beef! Perfect anytime, any day, any weather. I could eat this every day! Roasties: Probably their namesake dish which people return for time and time again, doesn't get much better than this! Laksa: This is, after all, a Chinese/Malay spot so please lean into the more Malay flavoured offerings here. One of the best Laksa's i've had in the UK. Deliciously creamy and aromatic, packed with meaty fillings and again their gorgeous noodles. Mie Goreng: Exactly like the Ho Fun, swimming in wok hay aroma and flavour but with some added Malay spice. Fantastic for all! Pork and aubergine over rice: An everyday Chinese classic staple for a reason and Noodle House do it perfectly! Worth it? - Never has a restaurant offered such great quality food for such affordable prices! This sits with Thai A Roy Dee in the pantheon of fantastic Leeds eateries! If you haven't eaten here, what are you doing!!!

三烧拌面&星河炒米粉; 沙爹牛肉饭&面条。三烧拌面咸味儿不够，汤感觉是方便面调料包做的😢图2的面条汤底很香！沙爹牛肉饭不香，不过量很大很大。

Delicious, authentic and great value for money. The three roasties is a must try. A small place in Leeds city centre that will keep you coming back for more.

Some of the best and more authentic Asian food I had in leeds, the atmosphere inside is incredible as well and the laksa soup and the salt and pepper spring rolls that are to die for.

The best Chinese and Malaysian food in Leeds. Definitely worth a visit!

Chosen this spot as I passed the kitchen who I noticed was busy inside, so thought I'd check this out. Came to find it was like a HK diner, small and fairly busy. Sat at single person position at the wall and wanted to have a roast duck meal to be told all the roasted meats were sold out. Felt under pressure to order an alternative and settled for a laska noodle soup at £9.50 (larger one for £10.50). Came quickly and it was bigger than what I was expecting. Portions of thin slivers of fishcake, fishballs, and char sui were a sign of the times with the cost of living; also, two big prawns were a welcome sight. The broth was meaty and has a nice chilli spice to it, but I didn't think this was genuinely a true laska (didn't discern any curry spicing). Overall, moderately okay meal. Will I come back? Probably not for a laska, but may try something else that's less complex in the making, such as a roast meat dish!

Food has been incredibly nostalgic for me every time I’ve been to Noodle House. Laksa, roasted meats, Hor Fun and Char Kway Teow all top notch and just like home. Family run business, super accommodating and service is sharp. Very generous portions and reasonable prices. Has quickly become a regular place to eat out since I discovered it from friends who raved about it, and my mum and brother have also given their seal of approval! Will be trying the Beef rendang when next in.

i come here quite often since the first time it’s opened. never failed me, except it’s not open everyday and almost always full house (place is quite tiny). service is quick, staffs are helpful, affordable prices, generous portions. my fave is their laksa and all the roasties with rice. feels like back home 😊
