I tried the new Xinjiang fried rice noodles. It tastes very good, spicy and flavourful. The shrimps are very elastic and the tenderloin is delicious😋

The best chinese restaurant I’ve ever been too. Very affordable and the food was superb. Highly recommended!

Overall, it's pretty good. It's a good place for fast food. It's cheap and tastes good. Especially if there are a lot of people, you can order a whole roast duck in advance, it tastes very good.

Excellent curry laksa…as good as the best ones in Penang, Malaysia.

Second time here and I could say the Streer foods are quite authentic. I am not too impressed with the bento and ramen as it tasted too standard. The rice is not fresh as well and it loses the sweetness and firmness of fresh cooked Japanese rice. But overall, I highly recommended the variety of their snacks in particular!!!

I’ve been wanting to come here but they will be closed until 8th March 2024 (based on announcement in front of the store). :(

I was here for the beef rendang with rice. It is not Indonesian rendang but it is quite as close as the Indonesian one. Add 1 jasmine rice is a must :) The koay teow is perfect for me! One more thing, the staffs were very friendly and helpful with their guidance for the food information. Thanks!

Genuine malaysian/ singaporean food with great portion sizes, especially for the price. Friendly staff. Overall look of the restaurant could be modernised but the small chairs, tables and menus on the wall do add an authentic feel to the place. staff is friendly. Although it can get quite crowded and busy.

Delicious, canteen like East Asian restaurant. I think I had one of the best egg fried rice with beef from their chefs recommendations menu that I've had in my life, and I've had so many! Great place for a quick meal.

Delicious food at unbeatable prices Service - Staff are always fantastic, fast, attentive and as friendly as they need to be! You're not getting silver spoon service, but if you want that then why are you here? Atmosphere - Classic style hustle and bustle fast paced eatery, this is something I love. If you don't, grow up. Food - I couldn't sing praises for the food anymore than I already do! I can't think of a single Chinese/Malay eatery which offers such tasty food for prices as good as this, even after the slight price rise post-covid it's still worth it every time. What to order? Really I would feel comfortable ordering anything from this menu, everything is cooked by fantastic chefs on high powered gas burners, anything cooked in those woks is dripping in wok hay flavour that is truly so special and unbeatable, however some of my favourites; Malatang Lamb/Beef w/ noodles or rice: Fantastically spiced and perfect amount of mouth numbing. Absolutely loaded with various meat offerings, vegetables and delicious broth. Perfect for cold weather! Pickled mustard greens and fish w/ noodles or rice: An acquired taste but I implore you to try and acquire it! A deliciously light yet flavourful broth which is slightly sour and goes so perfect with their toothsome vermicelli rice noodles. Again, absolutely loaded with fish and greens! Beef ho fun: If you want wok hay look no further, deliciously smokey tender noodles with gorgeous velvety beef! Perfect anytime, any day, any weather. I could eat this every day! Roasties: Probably their namesake dish which people return for time and time again, doesn't get much better than this! Laksa: This is, after all, a Chinese/Malay spot so please lean into the more Malay flavoured offerings here. One of the best Laksa's i've had in the UK. Deliciously creamy and aromatic, packed with meaty fillings and again their gorgeous noodles. Mie Goreng: Exactly like the Ho Fun, swimming in wok hay aroma and flavour but with some added Malay spice. Fantastic for all! Pork and aubergine over rice: An everyday Chinese classic staple for a reason and Noodle House do it perfectly! Worth it? - Never has a restaurant offered such great quality food for such affordable prices! This sits with Thai A Roy Dee in the pantheon of fantastic Leeds eateries! If you haven't eaten here, what are you doing!!!

Food has been incredibly nostalgic for me every time I’ve been to Noodle House. Laksa, roasted meats, Hor Fun and Char Kway Teow all top notch and just like home. Family run business, super accommodating and service is sharp. Very generous portions and reasonable prices. Has quickly become a regular place to eat out since I discovered it from friends who raved about it, and my mum and brother have also given their seal of approval! Will be trying the Beef rendang when next in.

i come here quite often since the first time it’s opened. never failed me, except it’s not open everyday and almost always full house (place is quite tiny). service is quick, staffs are helpful, affordable prices, generous portions. my fave is their laksa and all the roasties with rice. feels like back home 😊

I’ve been coming here for a few years. My favourite is wonton noodle! It’s amazing! The regular size is ok for me, but my husband said regular size isn’t enough. Usually pretty busy on weekdays lunch time but this time I visited here on weekends and it was not many people. The price is reasonable and the shop is small yet nice and clean.

At last I found d a place that gives me authentic Malaysian flavour. My new favourite restaurant.

Hands down the best tasting and value for money authentic canton food in Leeds. It looks like an average take out from the outside but it’s THE BEST, I promise! One of those hidden gems!

Been here hundreds of times. There is no noodle/ soup place like this anywhere. Three roasties noodle or rice is the best. Full of flavour, great value for money and consistently good. It’s a small place and nothing fancy apart from good food.

This is a very good Chinese Restaurant that has a good selection of 'differing' dishes not to be found anywhere else. The prices are very reasonable and the biggest give away is... It is frequented by many Chinese.Although I am not reviewing this to promote any particular dish (Because I always have the same one). It is more that this is a great establishment, run by very friendly Chinese staff who are very adept of the English language and can 'cook to your wishes'!I always enjoy my time here and I'm sure you will add your experience after trying their individual twist on what other Chinese establishments 'bang out'...

the staffs working here need some training of the so-called customer service. they were ridiculously lack of manners. VERY DISRESPECTFUL especially the young girl getting the order and the guy giving the roasties. They have some attitude!!! I will never ever go back on this place.

For the price you get a really decent portion of dish! Great for a quick filling good old Chinese rice/ noodle meal! The Nasi lemak may not be truly authentic but delicious enough.

A friendly nice little eating place for Maylayisan and Cantonese food ( noodles, rice, wanton, braised beef and roasts etc). Great food and price. It is not a place to hang around for hours but excellent for a quick meal.

Noodle House es uno de los mejores lugares para comer en Leeds si te gusta la comida china auténtica. No hay aquí, comida salsas gloopy sólo sana a un precio razonable. Pedí un plato grande de fideos sopa por 7 libras que después fue muy completo y mi esposa un pollo al curry, que era también una calidad fantástica y el tamaño de la porción no era no quería a ambos. Realmente recomiendo este lugar como un bar de fideos chinos propiamente dicho en vez de un sitio que es la paleta de occidental. Los alrededores no son las mejores, pero estás allí por la comida excepcional.

Outside of Hong Kong, there are very few places you can eat good, authentic dishes as though you was in the far east. Noodle House (in Leeds city centre not Wakefield) is tops for me, the prices are very affordable, the portion sizes are huge (especially if you dine in, as takeaway containers fit only so much where as dining in the pile up the plates) My favourite is Three meats (roasted) on rice, served with greens and soya sauce this is the ultimate meal, costs £6 but will definitely fill you up. You can always tell how good and authentic Chinese food is by the number of oriental customers dining in... Noodle house is always busy, regardless of the time.... my advice though is get there early as when they run out of rotisserie goods, that's it for the roasties.... but never fear, they have so many other dishes available... try the braised beef on rice, or curry Lasak... so much choice, and you won't be disappointed

As previous reviews have commented this place may not be five stars for the exterior visual but, the wonton noodle soup is great. Best I have tasted and I have been to many places trying to find a good noodle soup dish. My partner has tried other dishes on the menu and is always fairly happy. I love this little place, great customer service, always smiling. We always find time to come here if I am in Leeds.

I was introduced to this place by a Chinese friend about a year or so ago. The place looks very simple and small. The yellow signage is not the most enticing, but don't let that fool you. It's one of the best places to get noodles in Leeds. I'm not sure how authentic the Malaysian dishes are, but the beef noodles are delicious! My husband and I keep going back for them all the time.

Got taken here for lunch by a friend who knows where the good food is!!!!! There is a lot of outdoor seating but we sat inside and it's very small. You read the menu at the counter , order and pay at the counter and get called when your food is ready within minutes. The food is delicious, I had beef rendang with coconut rice , massive portions but was too nice to leave any. Lovely welcoming staff and very clean restaurant

Très bon accueil souriant et compétant, de bon conseil, plats servis très rapidement, très très bon on s'est régalé (j'ai pris "curry laksa noodles" ).Le chef est venu nous voir pour savoir si tout se passait bien, nous informer sur sa cuisine, si c'était la première fois que l'on venait. ... Il semble avoir pas mal de diplômes de chef artisan de noodle.La serveuse (la patronne? ) est venu plusieurs fois parler avec nous de façon très agréable et courtoise. Les prix sont très corrects en plus. 5 étoiles et je reviendrais goûté a d'autres plats qui semblent tous appétissants ! !

Stumbled across this place, large laksa was great. Most of the others I've had in the last few years in the UK have been severely devoid of flavor, so this was a surprising change.

My wife accidently spotted this place about two years ago and it became our favourite Asian restaurant since. Don't be fooled by the basic decor, the food here is absolutely delicious. A true gem!

Love this relatively new place. Very unpretentious and extremely tasty - especially the crispy pork belly. Portions are very generous (can also ask for a large portion of basically anything on the menu) and friendly staff. Go visit!

Like others we stumbled across this place. We were going to eat in one of the fancier restaurants in this street but spotted the Noodle House. It is a very simple place and it does not serve alcohol but the food and friendliness of the people is wonderful.We have been a few times and I always end up having the soup with noodles. The noodles are home made and they do vibrant green ones with spinach. You can go for a large bowl of soup for a little bit extra and get a belly busting feed for not much money at all.I love the place so much, my wife organised my birthday surprise there and we were waited on. The owner and his staff are friendly and charming. Other members of my family had the beef rendang and the laksa and they all said it was delicious

One word to describe the food here? Fantastic! This truly is one of Leeds' hidden gems, from the outside it doesn't look too appealing tucked away between the trendy bars and restaurants on Merrion street but I can assure you it is the best place to eat! Please, please DO NOT over look this cafe the food is fantastic! Ok there is no table service, you order food at the kitchen counter, take a seat and wait for the staff to call you over to collect your food, this adds to the overall experience in my view, I was sat facing the kitchen and for a moment I was actually in South East Asia.

I enjoyed the rice serving with 4 different meats (roast pork/ char Siew/ duck) with marinated egg and vegetables. The portion is big with reasonable price. Hokkien Mee is quite tasty too (but it doesn't really taste like Malaysian style). The laksa and fish noodle soup were not my liking as they are lack of taste and taste nothing close like Malaysian food.

A Malaysian Chinese noodle shop with roast meats. Order n pay before you sit down. Ordered the Nasi Lemak much better else where no curry sample or preserved veg just deep fried Chicken. Won Ton noodles came with Chinese veg and plenty of prawn filling. The three roast noodles also was a good feed.

I took my daughter AKA 'junior noodle connoisseur of the year' here when in town and boy did I score some parent points! We both absolutely loved the food and the price is competitive and portions good. Good ingredients are used (v tasty prawns, moist char sui, fresh vegetables etc). There are Peking ducks hung up and belly pork taken down and cut up as required. All very simple...order and pay at the counter, collect when ready, grab your cutlery, eat and go. No frills, it's just all about the food. Looking forward to making my way through the menu.

Found this place had recently opened after reading about it on a blog. Food was great and fresh and prepared really quickly in an open kitchen which looked immaculate. Lovely friendly staff. Cafe style, you order at the counter then pick up the food when it's ready. It was exactly what we needed after a long day. I'm sure we'll be back for lunches when working in the city. You can't beat the prices, definitely worth a visit and great for those on a budget. Quality, authentic, fresh food. :)

This new restaurant in Leeds is one of the most authentic Malaysian restaurants in Leeds. I thoroughly enjoyed the nasi lemak, the rice was full of coconut flavor and pandan fragrance, the curry was hot and just right.I will definitely go back and try other dishes.

Spotted this place when walking down Merrion Street the other evening - thought it looked worth a go. Place looked very new and very clean. Quickly found an excuse - well worth it. Cafe-style, order at the bar, straight forward menu, not too long: Soups, Noodles, Roast Meats, Rice - some Malaysian specialties.Staff very friendly and service is very very quick. You can see right into the kitchen as you order - very nice looking kitchen with lots going on.We had roast belly pork & rice and Malaysian Spicy Fried Rice - big portions, not remotely expensive
