Pricey but tasty! I'd go again. Authentic Kbbq experience.

What a great place! Never had Korean BBQ before and I'm so glad I did. 3 adults enjoying Leeds for the day so our son booked the table as a nice surprise lunch and we all went for the BBQ. We were looked after from start to finish by the staff, explaining what we had and swapping a few dishes as my wife had a shellfish allergy. Great fun sticking all the meat on the BBQ with loads to spare and unlimited refills of rice and side dishes! Next time, I will fast for a bit to really maximise the refills 😁

Blackpink is fine, but listening their music for nearly 2 hours is boring

Bulgogi BBQ is an exquisite restaurant where you can experience a piece of Korean cuisine. The meat cuts and portions are carefully measured and all the side dishes like rice and kimchi are refillable. The staff are very lovely and are there for you at every moment to help with the grill, sides and cleaning. It is on the expensive side but it makes up with delicious meat, dedicated stuff and cosy atmosphere. It is always a treat do dine here. Note that there is 10% staff charge.

My first experience in a Korean bbq and it was great fun grilling our own meat and putting all the accoutrements together to build tasty mouthfuls of Korean cuisine. Service was great as was the atmosphere

Absolutely amazing food and the service was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If using Google maps to go here, only follow it to the vicinity. Maps show it to be inside a market but it's actually on the main road. Easy to find.

This was our first experience of a Korean grill. So pleased we tried it. Such a lovely way to eat. Relaxed and easy. Food was excellent. Service attentive. Would highly recommend and good value too.

On Thursday I'd never been here, by Saturday I'd been twice. Gorgeous food, quick service, great selection of drinks, good for a quick or upend meal!

Service, food and atmosphere were great 👍. We had the "Famous Bulgogi" Set Menu, with that you get an unlimited amount of dips, lettuce and small sides to accompany the protein. The starters were also great! The staff were very attentive and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Be prepared to smell like BBQ for the rest of the evening though!

Gem of a restaurant. My son chose it as school holiday treat and we wanted to try something new. Lovely food and really enjoyed grilling at our own pace. Attentive and really friendly staff. I particularly liked that it was an intimate setting, yet with booths that had plenty of room for the numerous plates. We will definitely be returning

Came here for lunch. The concept is fun and plenty of space on the table for all the plates for 3 people. The downside is the smell on your clothes and hair after leaving the restaurant. Although my sister and niece were fine. I was vomiting some hours later from the food. Yes you may say it’s down to my cooking. The meats were nicely displayed….. but I discovered they were frozen pieces. Good fun to try, but I would rather eat at a restaurant where I wouldn’t be smelling afterwards if grease.

They make you order one set menu per person even though you cant finish it. It dont make sense you cant just pay for what you want to eat. If i want to buy 4 portions then i want 4 portions instead forcing another portion on us. Its not like a buffet since that would makes sense. But the fact that if i want to buy 4 portions then just serve me enough for 4. Wont be coming back or recommending this place again.

This place is amazing🤗 We got the express lunch set and the variety was really impressive. Really friendly staff and delicious food, especially recommend the samgyeopsal and bulgogi beef!! Can’t wait to go back🩵

This is undoubtedly one of the best customer experiences I've ever had at any restaurants, and any other fields to be honest. The food was very good, and the service was also very attentive where they check up on whether you need more sides and rice. The price was very fair for what you get and the waitresses also patiently go through the menu with you as well as checking for allergies. I'll definitely come back again whenever I visit Leeds and recommend this place to any of my friends or family visiting the city. Thanks a lot for the great experience and food.

The restaurant we had booked was over booked and we lost our booking so we walk along the street and saw Bulgogi Grill in Leeds, it was 8.30pm so we didn’t expect to get it as it was busy but the fantastic front of house got us a table, from then on we had the most amazing evening, we couldn’t believe our luck, what a great atmosphere, what great staff, the attention to detail was superb and nothing we asked for was a problem at all. We had the set menu and the abundance of top quality food we received blow us away. The value for money for what we got was hands down staggeringly brilliant. This is one place in Leeds we WILL be heading back to without question. If you want a fantastic dining experience then you have to head to Bulgogi Grill on Merrion Way in Leeds. Thank you to them for making our evening truly very special.

Foods are fine. Tiny table for a korean grill for 4 people. We had to try to fit all the set orders for 4 on our table,it's quite uncomfortable to eat. I think this is perfect for 2 ~ 3 people.

Came here for the first time for my birthday lunch with the family. The tables were nice and spacious, clean and staff extremely attentive throughout, making it clear how the process worked. The express lunch menu was fantastic value for money since you got plenty of 2 choices of meat or fish, and unlimited sides which they would consistently replenish. We also all had the crushed pear juice which was delicious!! Overall a fantastic, novel experience for me, a very social way to dine and in fact slowed down the pace of eating which helped us savour it more. Looking forward to the next visit!!

Goooooooooooooodness. WHAT A MEAL. Authentic, delicious, cheap, incredible service. The meat was incredible quality and the sides....each one had a distinctive, gorgeous taste and it was amazing to build various different ways to enjoy the meat. Service is so friendly and amazing here, could have sat here all night, chatting, eating amazing food and having cold beers and soju. I have to eat out quite a lot of a weekly basis and it gets quite boring/disappointing but this was the best dining experience I have had in ages!. PLEASE CAN YOU COME TO MANCHESTER?????????

Don’t even know where to begin - when the dining experience has become more important than ever for value for money and satisfaction; I have not enjoyed all elements of food, service, drink and ambience THIS much in so long. Big fan of Korean food, drink…okay K-Drama - and wanted to try Korean BBQ for a long time and so glad this is how we did it…although standards might now be too high I fear! Incredibly well thought out, authentic and high quality ingredients present an amazing set menu where every single element was joyous - everything was seasoned to perfection and plentiful - thanks to helpful and courteous staff who were never invasive yet always on hand when something was running low. BBQ’s themselves were high-end with no mess and issues with overheating and spitting. Ice-cold Korean beer and a get eat selection of Korean spirits accompanies the beautiful, lean meat perfectly. All crockery was no expense spared and such a lovely, subtle edition to the dining experience - even down to the side plates and beautiful clay vessels used to pour the Soju. Not one for desserts, staff (none-forcefully, only upon request for recommendations) suggested black sesame and lychee salted caramel ice-creams and what an experience. Everything combined made a truly perfect, memorable dining experience filled with incredible staffing, high-end food, high-quality drinks and amazing ambience under a hugely authentic aesthetic. So many Korean restaurants also blast K-Pop to create such experience but the volume was also perfectly balance to only compliment the atmosphere. Cannot wait to return - thank you.

Korean BBQ with unlimited sides… the bbq sets are a mixture of meat and/or seafood… there’s four sets to choose from (£29.95 - £39.95) in the evening, they have an early bird set at £21.95….. the meats are marinaded in different sauces, all sets come with unlimited refill of sides…. Ranging from kimchi, leeks, japchae to my personal favourite tempura courgette bites…. The boiled rice and lettuce is unlimited too, so get wrapping your food and use the sauce dips…. Everything here is flavoured well and is authentic to Korean side dishes, care is taken in using fresh ingredients and will leave you satisfied …. The bar sticks a good range of alcohol… soju through to beer/cider….. you get 90 minutes but never really get pushed out….. due to the location of bulgogi ( opposite the areana) I’d advise early booking as there’s isn’t lots of tables, approx 16 tables on two levels…. Definitely an experience you should consider… you will definitely leave full…..!

Food as always was delicious and fact you get so many unlimited sides is a real plus. I don’t like when they automatically add on a service charge, especially when there was only two of us, but the food will definitely mean I’ll be back.

First time at this restaurant. Loved it, food was beautiful and fresh. Really unique to other restaurants cooking own meats and fish to how you like it was good. Staff were lovely and took care of you throughout the meal. Nothing too much. Will definitely go again.

Something a bit different. The meat was all lovely and fresh and perfectly marinated. We had a mixed one with seafood and the calamari was so tender. The sides were delicious and can be replenished. They were very good at checking if we wanted anything else. I also found it refreshing that they didn’t push extras or pester for more drinks etc. can’t wait to go again!

Went here with my family for the first time and had such a great experience. The food was delish and there was so much of it we could barely finish. A bit expensive but 100% worth it.

This place was wonderful. The staff are really great at topping up the sides and asking if you need anything etc. The food was amazing, it was a really fun unique experience.

Never been to this type of restaurant before so I've nothing to gauge my experience today, however the service and food was both amazing we didn't feel rushed and the set meal of £39 each was plenty of food and you also get as much of the sides as you can eat. We also got a nice glass of fizz on arrival and ice cream to finish. I can highly recommend the black sesame seed ice cream It is very tasty indeed. It's a full 5 stars from me 👍🏻 give this place a try as you won't be disappointed, oh and one tip if you intend to visit after 6pm book your table.

The all you can eat menu worked well for me. It was all I could eat! It took 15 minutes to wind myself down to realising that there was no rush. That really improved my enjoyment of the food. Not all members of out party achieved this! There really was no rush at all. That done, the cooking at the table went really well and produced some excellent meat, prawns and squid. The sides were lovely and top ups were easily ordered. Altogether a lovely meal! Some members of the team were more attentive to the cooking than others but it worked fine. Pace yourselves, that's my advice! Fingers crossed and you'll be able to wangle a few freebies perhaps. Perhaps it's slightly premium priced but it depends on the value attach to the social side of cooking together. Need I go on about relaxing about the time available? Sorry, I just did!!

We had a surprise birthday party at Bulgogi, everything was absolutely fantastic, from booking to the food and service. It has become one of our top favourite restaurants in Leeds. 100% recommend!

Was amazing! Food was fresh and delicious, service was excellent. Kept bringing more sides whenever we were low, very kind and made us feel comfortable and happy. We want for my birthday and I was so happy we chose to go as it was delicious! Would 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys Asian food.

My parents and I stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to eat before seeing a comedy gig at the arena, and we're glad we did! We got The Famous Bulgogi Set Menu: vegetable dumplings and sushi for starters, then high quality, well seasoned raw meats to cook ourselves, along with unlimited rice, lettuce, Korean side dishes and dips! It was a very unique culinary experience and the grill became so hot that the meats were ready to eat in seconds! The food was plentiful for the three of us, and we were comfortably full afterwards. Most importantly, the staff were really friendly and gave us quick, quality service. We'll definitely keep this place in mind next time we visit Leeds!

We went here before seeing a concert at the arena around the corner. The Early Bird set menu is very good value for money. You get to choose your meats, all of which were delicious and plentiful. You can also have as many refills of the side dishes/banchan as you wanted; great for extra kimchee! Service was friendly and fast. I've been to a few Korean BBQ places, and this is probably my favourite to date!

Called in for a look . What can I say, the service was excellent, lovely staff, so helpful .. The food was fantastic, fresh and tasty.. The kimchi was divine.. Endless rice and dips left no room for dessert... Will be back again soon ..

Found Bulgogi Grill around 2 years ago but never thought to write a review. Every time someone mentions going for food I suggest Bulgogi just because of how different and good the food is. Never had a bad meal, pricing is not overpriced, you get your food quick and get a lot of it. I would like to see something other than a set menu as some people only like certain meats but I understand the process to stop wastage. If you haven't been Bulgogi please try it.

Such a great experience. Service is very good, attentive but not annoying at all. The food and all the banchan were delicious, I especially loved the cucumber and the bean sprout dishes.

Really enjoyable Korean BBQ experience. Great meats, very tasty unlimited sides and attentive service. We got a little shot of aloe vera drink with our bill which was the perfect palette cleanser. As with all Korean BBQs, remember your clothes are going to smell like BBQ afterwards!

Had an absolute wonderful experience. The staff were so wonderful and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing and out of this world. Would recommend for either a couples night or a family evening.

Limited options on the menu as its all set menu meals. Nothing for vegetarians but if you love meat and fish this place is a good choice. We went as a party of 6 which was 4 too many I reckon. This place would be ideal for a couple of people as the cooking area is a little cramped with any more. I do think its a tad overpriced for what you get though as the food isn't amazing or anything.

From start to finish our experience at Bulgogi Grill was amazing!! The staff were so polite and helpful, accommodating any needs. The food was beautiful and so flavourful!! We will be visiting again. Wow what a place! The seating was spacious and there was no rushed feeling. We were offered replenishments of anything without having to ask and I can emphasise enough how the staff make this place what it is!

Great food brilliant service. The meat was absolutely delicious, very fresh and loads for your money. Unlimited sides like rice and kimchee. Recommend booking in advance. No beer on draft unfortunately but lots of drink options including lots of gin.

We just heard about the restaurant and wanted to experience Korean barbecue but this is one of the best Korean restaurants in Leeds. Especially we found the Korean sauce served with meat rolls really amazing. Highly recommend for a group of friend.

Everything starting with tea going throw different meats till last shot of aloevera juice was super. Staff are very nice and friendly.

Came here for the first time with my friends to celebrate one of their birthdays, was happy with the service and the food was lovely, no faults whatsoever. Only downside was that I rang ahead and told them it was my friends birthday and they said they could arrange a Happy Birthday dessert etc, nothing was done and they just let us leave, but disappointment but overall a good experience.

Not the best value really. 28 quid for the BBQ table per person, bits of meat, a few pickles and sides, minimal table service, and an auto-add 10% service charge which is only meant to apply for tables of 8 and above (we were 3). Not returning.

Bulgogi is one of the best restaurants in the entire city. You get to choose two of nine amazing meat choices, and are granted unlimited rice, sides and lettuce. The meat is extremely tasty (especially the duck) and allows you to have a good ballance of flavour. The food was definitely worth 18 pounds.

Came to visit this Korean BBQ in leeds city centre on the 14/10/2022 the food was amazing the service was exceptional the cuts of beef was the highlight unreal seasoning would highly recommend coming to visit this place, good to visit either couples big groups...

One of my fave places to eat in Leeds! Staff are brilliant at refilling the unlimited sides. We went for the early bird menu but couldn’t resist going for the full menu, it was worth the extra! We didn’t feel rushed, the interactiveness of cooking the meat yourself makes it fun and different, the sides are all delicious too! Can’t fault this place at all ☺️

Loved all of it! Quality meat, prawns, squid and veg for the bbq, with loads of pickles, sauces, and rice - which were topped up on request. Accompanied by a few glasses of decent wine, and followed by the most amazing range of Korean ice cream: black sesame, vanilla pod, lychee, mango and passion fruit. Divine. Lovely, friendly, attentive (but not obtrusive) service, and reasonably priced. Fabulous meal and experience. If you're in Leeds for a couple of days or more, this is a must!
