The RealViet in Leeds

Amazing food!! We ordered a takeaway and collected in person. The cafe is cute and homely and the staff all lovely. The food was ready quickly, and wow! The best takeaway I’ve had in a long time. Full of flavour and love. It was like being transported back to Malaysia. Will definitely be back and will be telling all my friends ☺️

Pros: Really nice service and family owned and run Gujarati restaurant, tasty, comforting food. Hospitable staff ❤️ Cons: A little steep for the portion size, rice in really tiny bowls and small curry sizes (perhaps for an audience that orders only for themselves but not to share as is traditionally South Asian). We ordered the special chaat (excellent), Shahi paneer (really yummy), mushroom korma (also nice, spicy), lemon sodas (heavily diluted), mango cider (amazing!!), naan (not traditional, a little pasty and crumbly), Gujarati roti (really good!!) and pulao (okay) for 6 people.

Can't recommend this place enough , some of the best Thai food I have ever had , don't bother with any of the Chinese restaurants in wetherby if you fancy east Asian food , Baanrai is leaps and bounds ahead of them in taste and quality at a fairly similar price

the food is delicious, and I like the cosy atmosphere, really a great vibe to have a quiet dinner with my mum. The staff are nice.
