The best restaurants serving Asian food in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

On Christmas Eve me and my elderly father came here for lunch for the first time, having heard some good things. I’m happy to say that they exceeded my expectations in every way. The service was very attentive and personal, we were made to feel very welcome and looked after. The food was truly outstanding, flavourful, great portion sizes and varied. All told we have both raved about Lilypad to everyone we’ve interacted with over the festive period and will be going again soon.

I purchased my parents a voucher for Christmas 2023 and they chose to use it this evening for my Dad's Birthday. Just wanted to say thank you for giving them a wonderful experience and also share my parents enjoyment, they reported having a wonderful time... It's safe to say I've set my gift giving bar too high 😆.

Nice environment , busy on a Saturday night but food only average at best and quite expensive for what you get. The chicken jalfrezi lacked flavour and the small amount of sauce was extremely hot (vindaloo strength ) Some of the chicken pieces were tough and had a rubbery texture ! We ate our meals but would not go there again based on our experience this time.

Best service I’ve ever received in a restaurant, staff were swift in a pleasant manner and I’ve never felt so looked after in a restaurant. Had drinks, starters and were asked about mains within 5 minutes of sitting down. Food was exceptional and atmosphere was perfect with excellent lighting and a smile on everyone’s face. Would recommend to all. 👍🏼

Wow, what amazing food. We were a group of 6, and we all enjoyed our dishes. All very fresh and well presented. The staff were really nice and the room was tastefully decorated.

The food was SO good we are still thinking and talking about it 3 days later. Very interesting and varied menu and good value for money. The restaurant itself feels a little bit tired, and the lighting needs adjusting, very bright in places. But it doesn't matter as the food is amazing! Special shout out to the lovely manager, we didn't catch his name but he's from Hungary.

It was very quiet and after dining there myself I now see why. Service is good but the food is terrible. The worst yaki soba I’ve ever had. Dry with no sauce/flavour. Plain noodles stuck together. Really young team in the kitchen, one who kept coming out to the reception area of the restaurant to talk to the waitresses. Question the cleanliness. Would not recommend or return when Wagamamas is usually consistent.
