The best restaurants serving Asian food in East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

We would thoroughly recommend Roku Asia for its delicious and beautifully presented cuisine. The tasting menu was excellent value and had a varied selection. Thank you to the staff (in particular, Ethan, our waiter) who were all courteous and friendly and for making this a fantastic dining experience!

Amazing restaurant, staff, and food

Ordered the vegetable samosas, onion bhaji, a tikka and madras. Plus two special Naans. The food was spectacular and the staff were lovely. Went above and beyond for us. We'll definitely be coming back. Well done guys 👏

The place is a little outdated and could use some tlc but the food is very good! We usually visit for the early bird deal of £10 which is such good value and very tasty!

We found the Mirchi lounge whilst on holiday and had a lovely meal there. All the Indian restaurant favourites are here as well as a good range of house specials. Whilst the prices had increased from the menu shown on their website they were still very good value. We had two courses plus drinks for two of us and it came to just over 50 pounds. We felt very full and both enjoyed our food. Two more happy customers here!

It looks nice. In the booking I wrote about a dish they served before but I think that they haven’t bothered to look at it as they haven’t mentioned it. I picked the vegetable udon but was served the gyoza vegetable udon one because they apparently don’t serve the other one anymore but it was still on the menu. The waitress was nice enough to make sure it was fine but the menu should still be amended. The udon was okay. Drink prices are awful; London prices! Also be careful when ordering main dishes as rice is sometimes priced separately.

5 family and friends visited on 1/3/25 to give it a try from our usual Maa Indian,halfway into meal young waiter knocked pint over us, no apology just brought kitchen roll and left us to mop up, onion bhajis dry, chicken madras more like vindaloo,korma very watery, questioned the £120 bill and asked for discount to which the owner said “ I didn’t charge for the pint i replaced” that they knocked over, in the end they reduced to £100, so if anyone reads this please go to Maa as we will again from now on.

Staying at Raywell Country Lodges, ordered a takeaway curry from Cottingham Tandoori, was informed it would be 45-60 minutes delivery, this was no problem. Our food arrived 35 minutes later, absolutely stunning curries, complements to the chef, delivery driver & the polite, respectful gentleman who answered the phone to take our order. Telephoned them back after our food to pass on our thanks for a delicious meal. We have travelled up from the West Midlands, great start to our holidays 👍 😀
